HP 24-inch FHD IPS Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and Anti-glare Panel (24yh, Black)

HP 24-inch FHD IPS Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and Anti-glare Panel (24yh, Black)

This monitor is the new wider format. The HDMI input provides a sharp display with beautiful colors. Very satisfied and the HP brand is a big plus, not to mention the very reasonable price. I highly recommend.

I've been squinting at an 11 inch laptop screen for so long that maybe anything bigger would look good. But, I don't think so. I'm really impressed by the color and sharpness of the images -- I've had HP in the past, though, and I figured the color would be great....Also, I really like the anti-glare panel -- the same amount of overhead light/indirect sunlight that would over-brighten my laptop screen has no effect on this monitor screen.........

The only quibble I have with this monitor is that the color is slightly over-saturated, but it could be that I'm not adjusting the color properly -- so I can't knock off any stars for that.......

I liked It but I would recommend getting a simple VIVO VESA mount because the base does not have very many adjustment options. Its not a 4k panel but what can you ask for with a 100$ Monitor. If your on a budget I would recommend it. but if you have a little more room In your budget go for a 4k One.

I bought this to replace a smaller (22") monitor that worked fine, but it weighed 20 lbs, and I needed to take it with me sometimes. This one weighs only about 8 lbs and has a wider screen and better resolution. It was not quite high enough for me so I just put a book under the stand. I used the HDMI cable that came with it at first, but that captured the audio and the monitor has no speakers, so I switched to my own VGA cable so I can use the speakers attached to my laptop. The resolution appears to be the same with either cable.

The monitor has a bunch of settings to adjust the imaging and light, including a setting that removes "blue" light, which can inhibit natural melatonin and interfere with sleep cycles. I was a bit disappointed in the image quality. The material quality of the monitor itself is OK, but the stand is not all that stable, is essentially plastic, and you cannot raise, lower, or turn the screen. Tilt up or down only. Even at $150, I believe it is overpriced for what it is.

Video/game picture is great. For office stuff 1080p is not enough i feel.
Shimmering is noticeable on solid dark grey backgrounds with some settings and buttons at the back not very convenient.
But overall happy with the purchase.

The monitor outputs a clear picture and is easy to set up. The only odd feature is the power button's location on the back of the monitor.

This monitor is absolutely gorgeous! I don't think I've had a backlit monitor before. I had to look up what that meant while I was shopping because I wasn't familiar with it. Well, I'm a fan. Definitely recommend!
