KODAK SCANZA Digital Film & Slide Scanner (Renewed)

KODAK SCANZA Digital Film & Slide Scanner (Renewed)

I really appreciate being able to hook this up to a computer monitor. It's much more convenient than setting up a slide projector and screen. The process of feeding slides is a bit awkward. It requires inserting a second slide to push the first slide into the scanning area, and a third one to push the first one out. It's not a huge deal, but it sure seems like an improvement could be made to the design. My previous scanner worked the same way.

I have hundreds of old slides dating back to the 50s and this scanner plus a good software has been a breeze to digitize all my slides. I used to have a flatbed scanner with an adapter that did a good job but it was cumbersome and slow. I'm very pleased with the results with this scanner.

I like the portability of the item.

TP-Link | N300 WiFi Range Extender | Up to 300Mbps | WiFi Extender, Repeater, Wifi Signal Booster, Access Point | Easy Set-Up | External Antennas & Compact Designed Internet Booster (TL-WA855RE)

TP-Link | N300 WiFi Range Extender | Up to 300Mbps | WiFi Extender, Repeater, Wifi Signal Booster, Access Point | Easy Set-Up | External Antennas & Compact Designed Internet Booster (TL-WA855RE)

This is by far the best WIFI extender I have ever used. I have a multi level house and wifi is challenging. Full signal in some parts of the house and in others,..there is none. I have tried MANY MANY wifi units similar to this. I'm very tech savvy and pride myself in figuring stuff out with out directions. However, that is very different with some wifi extenders. They are complicated to set up and do not work good at all. I had good luck with the TP-Link light sockets with the echo and setup was a breeze. So I decided to take one more shot at yet another wifi extender. Choosing the TP-Link in hopes it would work just as good. I really don't understand these other reviews that state how hard it is to set up. This wifi extender is truly easy to set up. This is what i did,....Quick instructions right on the side of the box. Plug in the TP-Link, close to your router, the green light flashes, press the WPS button on your router, then press the signal button on the extender. The green light flashes, goes solid green, goes solid red then after 5-10 seconds the light stays solid green. The unit is now paired with your router. Now, Unplug the extender, walk to a midway point in your house close to the dead spot and plug it back in. It will blink green again, then solid green, then solid red, 5-10 seconds it turns solid green. Open any device you want to use for wifi, go to wifi settings and find your wifi name. Except the word _EXT will be after the device name. So if your normal wifi is GOOBER616 for example. It would now show as GOOBER616_EXT, Choose the Ext one and enter your normal password for wifi, and BOOM, FULL wifi signal. I now have wifi in every room in the house. If you plug the unit in and the light stays on solid yellow? Then move it to another socket closer to the router. Hope this helps anyone who has or has had a problem.

FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T GET THE TL-WDN4800 TO WORK... i spent 8 hours on the phone with TP-link support trying to get the driver to install, tried safe mode, bios setting changes, changing PCIe slots, etc and it just would not connect to the internet, and would not update to the current driver. Then i found a YouTube video and through pausing and zooming, noticed the driver that was being installed for this card wasn't TP-link driver. It was "qualcomm Atheros AR938X" driver. So i downloaded that driver and BOOM it works perfectly. Its because the wireless chip is qualcomm atheros and the TP-link drivers aren't up to date i assume. Either way, if you are having trouble with the driver (it installs but will not connect to the internet), search for "qualcomm atheros AR938x driver" followed by your OS (windows 7, 8, 10, etc) and it will work. Mind blown that TP-link support didnt suggest this, but YouTube for the win. Super happy now :)

I don't typically write Amazon reviews, but I feel this warrants one. My modem and router are kept downstairs, and my upstairs study is an almost complete dead zone, I'm lucky to get above 1-4 Mbps, while other rooms get 20-25 Mbps. I researched wifi range extenders, and this one seemed great for the price. It arrived a day earlier than planned, and after 5 minutes pairing it with my network, it was plugged in and working perfectly. My computers now average about 22-24 Mbps in my study, which has a huge effect on my productivity and general enthusiasm for life. A few notes:

It does not have a cord, it plugs directly into an outlet like a nightlight
It automatically creates a new network named yournetwork + "_EXT"
It's smaller than I thought, about the size of 3 stacked packs of post-it notes

If you use your internet everyday for school or work, slow speeds speeds can be detrimental. This completely fixed the issue for me. The most $20 has every improved my life. Other more expensive models probably have some features this doesn't, but if you just want to fix dead zones for not much money, this is the answer.

Could barely get a signal in my garage, now with this extender I have an excellent connection. Set up was easy, literally push two buttons and it's done.

Oh man, I am over the moon about this product. My bedroom is the basement of the house, so the wifi just barely reached, and has a very weak signal. This extender is a life saver.

It took maybe 2 minutes to set up, the hardest part was getting it out of the box! It amplifies the signal perfectly, and I find that it actually makes my wifi faster, as less people are using it!

HouseWifi is my normal wifi signal in my room and the HouseWifi_EXT is the extenders wifi signal in my room. Look at the difference!

I will be convincing my family to buy these for the farther parts of the house. In love!!

I live in a large apartment, the modem is in my bedroom and the signal in the living room is strong enough to be reliable so use an extender. When the one I have had for a few years died, I ordered this one to take its place. There were many to choose from, but I chose this one because TP-LINK is a brand I trust.

The extender was easy to install and was soon up and running. I now have a very strong signal in the living room and throughout the apartment.

Based on my experience, I recommend this extender.

I found this router through a third party website review (the Wire Cutter), that aptly called this, "the Best Wi-Fi Router (for Most People)." I would probably amend that title and say, "the Best Wi-Fi Router (for Virtually Everyone)." Do not let the low price fool you into thinking it's an entry level or low-end model. It only costs around $100 but, from my observations against four other routers that cost considerably more, it performs well beyond its price point.

I have purchased a number of routers over the years as the technology and performance improves, and the number of devices my family uses has increased. Over the past few years, I had migrated to the more expensive ($300+) routers in the hopes of greater performance. Right before this, I had an Asus RT-AC5300, a beast of a router that exceeded $400 when I bought it. But what I found was that as the price point goes up, the performance does not, and the reliability goes down. These expensive routers tend to be buggy and drop connections; they simply have too many features and are way too complex, all to provide functionalities that no one uses, or that none of your connected devices support anyway. The ASUS got so bad it was rebooting itself every few hours. The days of the rock-solid Linksys WRT54G seemed long gone... So I returned the ASUS RT-AC5300, gave my WRT1900ACS to a friend, and bought an Archer C7 (v2).

After two weeks of testing it, I have four words: it just works -- period. The signal is strong and punches through the lathe-and-plaster walls of my nearly 100 year old house. Its signal is considerably stronger than the WRT1900ACS that I had (which cost almost three times what this one did), and rivaled the signal strength of the $400 ASUS. It doesn't drop connections, doesn't reboot itself, and delivers a strong and steady stream of data to all devices, wired and wireless.

Only one word of warning; you need to make sure the Archer C7 that you purchase is NOT a first version. Everyone on the web has reported that TP-LINK badly botched the V1, especially for Macintosh/Apple devices (which is most of my house); most of those should be out of circulation or in landfills by now. The one I bought from Amazon was a V2, and it works perfectly with all of my Apple and non-Apple devices.

Attached is a before after results of the speedtest that I ran in the wifi dead zone. Enough said. Cheers.

I needed a WiFi extended to provide a better Wifi signal to my Ring Doorbell. Unfortunately, the location of my router was too far from the Ring and the signal had to travel through too many walls, including the external brick wall. Because of the weak signal, I was having trouble answering rings and getting live views on my phone.
I originally looked into purchasing the Ring brand Wifi extended, but it was 50 bucks and it was ONLY for Ring products. I thought it would help to have a Wifi extender to connect to all my other devices, so I scoured Amazon to find a cheaper one.

I am technologically literate in many areas, but connectivity and networks are NOT one of those areas. I was concerned that I would have to hire a techy person to come help me, but surprisingly, it was very easy to set up and connect with my current AT&T Uverse router.
I did run into a bit of a problem, as my Ring Doorbell was still showing a weak signal. I fiddled around with the Ring and realized that this extended had created a new network for me to connect to - it was my network name with "-EXT" at the end. I reconnected the Ring to THAT network - my password was the same and everything - and NOW my Ring Doorbell works PERFECT!
This extender is great and does exactly what I need.
I also noticed on the box that there is a phone number to call for 24/7 tech support, which is very handy to have!
I highly recommend it if you just need a boost in signal to reach certain devices or reach devices that are too far away from your router.

Nice product! As others said, it is indeed easy to setup and configure as there are detailed instructions. It boosted the signal pretty good both for a PC and mobile phone. I took one star off as there is no information about the manufacturer or the website where a firmware upgrade file can be downloaded. The manual says download "from our website", but none is provided, that's odd! When I searched by the device name, "WF8500", I found only a closely related (by item name) Samsung washing machine and Epson printer in top results... When I attempted to go to slopehill.com (the Amazon seller "slopehill"), this web address was not valid (actually listed for sale), so it must be not the manufacturer name. No clue from the item itself, its box, enclosed instructions or description on its Amazon web page. Fortunately, a firmware upgrade is optional step, and the WiFi signal was boosted already. There was a couple of other minor issues. 1) The Installation Guide says that before starting, check if there's anything missing in the package, and contact your dealer of purchase to claim for missing items: 1xWiteless-N Repeater, 1x RJ-45 Networking Cable, 1x Quick Installation Guide. RJ-45 cable was not included, but I don't see on the Amazon product description page. This option (using a a cable) is optional, and you can configure a new network wirelessly, or use your own RJ-45 cable, but the Guide seems outdated as is. Ok, the repeater is cheap already, fair enough :-) 2) There is a "USB charging interface" on the Repeater from both the Amazon product page and Installation Guide, but it's function is not described. I presume it is not required for charging the device, but possibly provides an option to connect to a USB port to power this Repeater if there is no AC outlet? 3) The Amazon product description listed 2 other features - "Guest Mode" and "Fast Charge", but these are not addressed in the Quick Installation Guide (and no website address as I mentioned above).Within our apartment we lose signal in one of the back bedrooms which just happens to be the master bedroom. This obviously creates issues if we want to watch YouTube while laying in bed which is why I wanted to get a Wifi extender to see if we could boost the signal. Upon plugging the booster in and running a speed test we saw great improvements in both upload and download speeds in that room. Purchased this wifi extender to help get a stronger connection for our skybell wireless doorbell. We were getting laggy videos and slow alerts when we had a recorded video. My husband purchased this wifi repeater to hopefully get the skybell functioning at at least 85-90% for better videos and faster alerts. My husband was able to set up the repeater as an extender very easily. The instructions are easy to follow and within 30 minutes we had it completely set up and plugged into the outlet nearest the skybell, we are now getting 92%. We tested the videos and alerts and all are working as the should. Before getting this extender we were thinking of returning the skybell. This extender was what we needed to complete the doorbell upgrade at a great price. I recommend this repeater to anyone needing an extender or access point to add to their existing wireless network. You won't be disappointed.

7 oz. Vsoy Meatless, Vegan Soy Textured BEEF SLICE, Soy Protein , Vegetarian Meat Substitute, Unflavored

7 oz. Vsoy Meatless, Vegan Soy Textured BEEF SLICE, Soy Protein , Vegetarian Meat Substitute, Unflavored

This pseudo-meat concoction has seriously been a life saver. I'm new to the vegan lifestyle, and happened to come across a view videos on YouTube with beef substitutes in their recipes. While this particular product was not used, I decided to come to Amazon and check out the faux-meat hype. This product did not disappoint at all. Its great for marinating, and holds the flavor of whatever sauce it is put in (follow the hydration directions. Don't try to reinvent the wheel, and then get mad at lackluster results, lol). I'm also a big texture junky, and the texture is nearly spot on! I won't try to humor you and say it tastes and feels exactly like sliced beef, because if you wanted that...you'd buy beef, no? I will definitely be ordering this again. So far I have made the following meals:

1.) Beef & Broccoli Stir-fry
2.) Peruvian Saltado de Res ("meat" marinated for approximately 2 days)
3.) Veggie Stir-fry

These are amazing, especially if you soak them for two days. they absorb a lot and are spongy but the texture is almost exactly that to real beef strips. HOWEVER i cant justify the price.

These are great! I soaked them for 30 minutes in mushroom broth and soy sauce to flavor them and used them in a stir fry and it was delicious! I got about 4 individual meals out of the bag, and served the stir fry with rice. I'm a huge fan!

I love using these in my stir fry noodle dishes. I also like that they store easy in my pantry, only takes a few minutes to soak in water, drain, and ready to cook and add to any dish. Great taste too.

A must have in a a vegan pantry.

DAVID Roasted and Salted Sweet and Spicy Jumbo Sunflower Seeds, 5.25 oz, 12 Pack

DAVID Roasted and Salted Sweet and Spicy Jumbo Sunflower Seeds, 5.25 oz, 12 Pack

Hi there folks,

I've been eating these seeds ever since I was a little kid in the 60s. It is probably an addiction. My father taught me how to eat them - you throw a handful in your mouth, move them over to your left cheek, crack them open on at a time, spit out the shells, and munch the kernels on the right side. Sometimes, I'll crack them, spit out the shells, and store all the kernels in my right check until all the seeds are cracked, then I'll munch all the kernels at once. I only recommend this if you're an experienced seeder. I can remember back when they were David & Sons. Sometimes, while eating my seeds, I contemplate what ever happened to David's sons. Did he fire them? I hope they weren't met with foul play... Way back when, my brother and I used to sit on our back porch in Modesto eating seeds and spitting the shells out on the lawn. They say that the shells are bad for lawns, but we never noticed any problems - probably because our dog Boots would see the shells land, and scarf them up like he was starving. Unfortunately, the poor dog's digestive system didn't process the shells very well, and the next day he was having some trouble with his morning ritual. I received these seeds in great condition. The box they came in was nice and thick, and each bag I opened had nothing but nice, fresh, tasty seeds, without the bunch of dust that sometimes forms in bags that sit on the shelf for a while. Nope, these are top notch, and good to the last handful. I'll probably buy another box full soon. I'm down to my last couple of bags.

Sincerely Yours,
Mr. Clark County

These are, HANDS DOWN, the best sunflower seed flavor. They always deliver. When my local gas station no longer had them on the shelves, I immediately came to Amazon and purchased this twelve pack. The box sits in the back of my car, and these are my go-to oral fixation when I'm driving.

Awesome shipping even to Hawaii came in fast!! Love it. It's not stale this batch. I hesitated for months ordering this "David's Sweet & Salty" Flavor. I love to munch on these when I am watching a movie and doing my Jig-puzzles. It's all good and I sharing with people whom love "Davids sunflower seeds" ... a little taste of something different. I can not find this flavor in any store on this "Big Island of Hawaii". No too sweet, not too rancid, but just right!!

I don't know how long these Jalapeno Hot Salsa seeds have been around, but they popped up as a suggestion and I decided to try. I did note prior to starting them that they are very high in salt although they curiously show the nutrition for seeds alone and seeds+shell. They suggest the standard 5.25 oz bag is 2 servings, but for me it is closer to 8-10, but even with that I get 1/4 of my recommended sodium for the day. The quality of the seeds is what I have seen from David my entire life. They aren't hot, at least for people who are probably in their target audience. The taste good, albeit salty.

This is my favorite flavor of David seeds, and they are soooo hard to find at local grocery stores or gas stations. Luckily Amazon came through and I found these. The price may seem a little much for seeds but keep in mind you get 12 bags and they last a long time. They are fresh and have that flavor I was craving. If you like seeds, give these a shot, they are truly delicious.

My husband loves the ranch flavor. This last time there was a great deal on buffalo ranch flavor, so I got him a case. I was a little worried because he isn't a spicy guy. But thankfully he likes it just as well as the regular ranch. He says it is not too spicy but just spicy enough that it keeps him from eating the whole bag in a day while working from home. Because, yes, that's a thing he does.

WOW! What an AMAZING price!! I've been buying Ranch sunflower seeds for my husband for years! From multiple grocery stores trying to bargain hunt for the best price, since I found out that he had been spending WAY TOO much when he was getting them at gas stations. In grocery stores you can only buy them individually when they have his flavor available & in wholesale stores they only sell the original flavor, which he does't like :P We will be buying his seeds from Amazon from now on!

Best flavor of any seeds I have tried. David hit a home run with this product. The seed quality has also improved dramatically from years past. The competition of brands such as BIGS and Spitz (which have better quality seeds) has forced David's to improve its product....and they have! This flavor is near impossible to find in stores, so I am very happy it is available on Amazon. The price of ~$19 and change is very reasonable as well for 12 full size packs.

Sweet and spicy is the best flavor. Too bad you can't find these anywhere besides a few gas stations. I used to be addicted to these things. I'd eat them at work and on the golf course. Next thing you know, all my friends are addicted to them. Only issue is you start loading up on the salt on everything because this elevates your baseline salt usage to absurd levels.

I love these things they are very salty yes but with most things in life you just need something a little bit unhealthy to get by. I usually eat these a bag at a time and when I unboxed these I started combining the bags together to get a full bag I ended up with only half of what I started with but oh well. Usually when I buy these I have to sell half of them to my friends everybody loves David's.

Nestle Coffee-mate Coffee Creamer, Original, 11oz powder creamer, Pack of 12

Nestle Coffee-mate Coffee Creamer, Original, 11oz powder creamer, Pack of 12

It's for Sweetie who cannot live without his Coffee-Mate (vanilla). Going to several grocery stores found there was none to be found, apparently very popular brand so I now order by the case to assure we have plenty on hand for Sweetie!!!

I order one of these every month--we drink a lot of coffee. This is the best creamer for pantry storage, in my opinion. It never goes bad, and it's never spilled. The containers are pretty durable too, and can be used for other things once you run out of creamer. The containers have flip-top openings on the lids. Occasionally they break, but it's super easy to use one from another bottle when that happens.
Not only is it shelf-stable, but we think this is also the best tasting creamer on the market--and we've definitely tried a lot.

It does a nice job of taking the bite out of your coffee. And if you get bored it's flammable . It's a lot of fun really. Just take a pinch of it and throw it a lit candle and watch it flare up like magicians flash powder. Actually, that may not be one of the approved uses. Yeah ignore that last part.

My husband and I love coffee. We drink it every morning, and we always love it with creamer. I was getting tired of always running out of the liquid one, so I got this big pack to have as back up. Since is dry and can be easily stored in the pantry, is such a life saver for when we run out of the liquid creamer and there is no opportunity to go to the store so often.

I order the for my mom often, she loves the flavor, I love the price. (And the packaging). I’ve been a frequent buyer of this product & just signed up for SUSCRIBE delivery. I’ll update my review in February, when we get the next shipment.

NESTLE COFFEE-MATE Coffee Creamer, Original, 11oz powder creamer, Pack of 12

well, the price WAS great, but $20.00 increase since my last order is too much for me to order again at this price increase. Sadly this was my favorite creamer. $20.00.......smh

Great price on 12 cans of coffee mate -- adds up to less than 2 bucks per canister. I'm not going to go in to how I like coffeemate over milk -- I just like to use it because it doesn't cool my coffee off like the stuff out of the fridge. It's good and I think just about everyone knows what it does. I am reviewing the price for the quantity and I think that deserves the 5 stars because this stuff is over 3 dollars per canister at the grocery store. I do prefer a little normal milk in my tea, tho. Personal preference.

This was not even a 2 day promise and they did it anyway! Exactly what I wanted.

Did the math and I end up getting 2 free when I order this way instead of off the shelf in my local grocery store that also always runs out of this flavor.

smaller containers keep it fresher

Gatorade Thirst Quencher Powder, Lemon Lime, 76.5 Ounce,Pack of 1

Gatorade Thirst Quencher Powder, Lemon Lime, 76.5 Ounce,Pack of 1

my son has high school basketball practice 6 days a week for 2 hours...i knew the last thing he wanted to do was add more water weight to his school bag so what i did was find two 32oz bottles and I make one for during the day and one for practice
cost wise you can't compare and since he drinks 2 a day that would been at least a savings of $2 to $4 dollars a day...plus the gatorade bottles you get from Costco or Sam's Club are either 18oz or 20oz size bottles much smaller...this way he just takes the empty bottle with the powder and just adds water when he needs it at school...on top of that he has a water bottle so I keep him hydrated...hint by the different flavors so it doesn't get boring...the 32oz bottle works best as it's the right size for 1 scoop of powder...hint 2 you don't need the shaker bottles the powder mixes very easy

Ok, so we bought the three pack of Gatorade powder so we could make a two quart pitcher when we need it for sports days or just for basic hydration. We have three boys and, while water is obviously the best choice, having this as a flavored option is better than most other drink alternatives. We had historically bought a thirty pack of the 12oz (355ml) bottles at a warehouse club for about $18 and, while that was a pretty good buy, mixing our own powder works out to about 20% of the price. Granted, it is a bit less delicious as the powdered version loses some of the taste when it gets reconstituted at home (do not dare accuse me of mixing in the wrong concentration, I am a pharmacist so by-golly I know how to make a solution!!), but for the cost savings and plastic bottle savings it is a worthwhile trade-off. The three containers are each a different flavor and they make eighteen gallons all together, which comes out to thirty-six two quart pitchers; plenty to last for our horde of sweaty, active, thirsty boys. Good luck.

For the past few years, I've been using a Sodastream machine to produce my own diet soda - and somewhere along the line I managed to acquire some extra liter Sodastream bottles. I am not a huge fan of their mixes - they are pretty good but also expensive, and although I'm very happy not contributing to landfills with my plastic bottles and cans, I started to consume a lot less Sodastream this Summer while at the same time ramping up my purchases of bottled Gatorade.

Suddenly, even though the Gatorade was *not* a diet soft drink, I also started to lose weight. I'm not sure if it was switch off of the Sodastream or if I were more active and consuming more Gatorade as a result, I had read somewhere that consuming large amounts of diet soda can have the opposite of the intended effect (I guess you tend to eat larger portions) but as I drank more bottled Gatorade, I started to feel pretty morose about the recycling bag filling up with the plastic bottles. Finally, I stumbled across a "Frost Flavor" tureen of powdered Gatorade at Target. It wasn't that cheap, but boy, were those Sodastream bottles suited for mixing Gatorade!

It didn't really occur to me to check Amazon, but when I did, I found this - it really comes to about 25 cents a quart - and that's a great price. I can make it more concentrated or less concentrated (which is what I tend to do) and can mix it with ice if I need to. And no more plastic bottles. Now I drink more Gatorade than ever, and it feels great to be properly hydrated and even better to not be producing plastic waste.

I was worried about them being broken like some reviews posted so I wanted to let you know that they came well packaged with no damage whatsoever. The product is great alot cheaper than buying bottles at the store and taste the same.

Gatorade. Not sure what can be said about this besides:
- easy to make, just use the scoop provided and 32Oz bottle with water
- tastes delicious, not a "100% pure juice of a rare fruit that grows only on a island in Bermuda triage that only a few locals know," but not a tap water with an aftertaste of half of periodic table either
- hydrates really well. Working on a roof in 95F and full sun requires A LOT of hydration and Gatorade surely does the magic
- easy to store. No need storing dozens of bottles and filling up recycling bin in a couple of days. So, all the pluses for us, Environmentally Conscious people, that don't like plastic going into oceans. All that is needed is a couple of re-usable bottles and some space under counter.

Description

With a legacy over 40 years in the making, it’s the most scientifically researched and game-tested way to replace electrolytes lost in sweat. Gatorade thirst quencher hydrates better than water, which is why it’s trusted by some of the world’s best athletes.

Gatorade changed the order of ingredients, moved natural and artificial flavor from 9th to 3rd. natural and artificial flavor usually means artificial sweeteners, which is exactly what this now tastes like now, all to do what...save 10 calories? See attached picture, left side is old formula, right side is new. UPDATE: After using a full can I have adjusted to the new taste. It does serve the purpose for replenishing electrolytes.

I love Gatorade especially during the hot Arizona summers when we have to stay hydrated to survive. I'm not a fan of the new Gatorade flavors, I'm old school & love the original Lemon lime. I was hesitant when I first purchased this because I wasn't sure the powder would deliver the quality taste of buying Gatorade from a store. I was satisfied that the powder is even better & tastes fresher than the store bought bottles. This goes a long way, one scoop is perfect for a quart of water. If you love Gatorade this is a cheaper way to buy it than buying the bottles at stores. I love that Amazon has this & it always arrives perfectly packaged (usually wrapped in bubble wrap). A great buy & value to keep yourself hydrated.

We are into natural products & usually make pretty much everything from scratch. That said, we have had a TON of stress in our family lately & needed a boost so I purchased this Gatorade mix instead of wasting money on the ready made bottles.

This mix was just what we needed to help boost us back up & rehydrate after a few very stressful months. I will be going back to our homemade version of a sports drink soon, but I always keep a canister of this in the pantry for times we need something easy to simply stir into some water. I had always purchased it from Sam's Club, but was happy to find it on Amazon for a decent price to fill in between shopping trips.

I WILL purchase this again & am subscribed to it via S&S.

Great to find alternative flavors to those in warehouse stores. A few bucks more than said warehouse stores, but great value overall. Quality of water effects the overall taste, so be aware. I have yet for it to be identical to the premixed store bottles, but being able to adjust the amount of mix is an added bonus as drinking any of these is really just drinking sugar water and additional calories, so every teaspoon lessens my sugar intake as I rarely drink anything except water. Definite buy again.

Great for hypoglycemia since you can just use what you need. I think Gatorade has been instrumental in saving my life tbh because my blood pressure drops too much if I drink the amount of water I need. Apparently if it doesn't have sugar or salt in it, water alone can adversely affect some people, rarely. I'm not sure what's going on, but the Gatorade powder helps so much with keeping up my strength all day. If we run out, I sleep much more and can't move. It also reduces hunger somewhat. I'm very grateful.

Peet's Coffee Major Dickason's Blend Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 20 Ounce Bag Peetnik Value Pack

Peet's Coffee Major Dickason's Blend Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 20 Ounce Bag Peetnik Value Pack

I drink a lot of coffee! My preference has always been dark roast. Keep that in mind as I report that this is one of the three best coffees that I have found in almost sixty years of coffee drinking experience. Its rich, full bodied, dark roast flavor is unique and pleasantly complex. After trying many different brands and beans, I have decided on Peet's Major Dickason's Blend as my daily brew. When it is available, it is always my preference. There is no other quite like it!!!

I bought this coffee to try out in our office with a fairly hard to please coffee crowd. It was very well received. The coffee is a nice, robust, dark roast. Like others have said, it has a bit of a sweet note to it but in a good way. I am trying many different brands but I have this on my list to purchase again. Sometimes this is cheaper at Target.

A lot of dark roast coffees are strong but bitter. Peet's Major Dickerson Blend has the strength as well as a good body. It's deep earthy complex flavor will probably result in drinking more coffee than normal. It's really a luxury that you'll look forward to each morning. The coffee shops can't compete. I use a single brew drip maker and two scoops is "just right". Well done Peet's!

I was sent the ground version instead of the whole bean one a few months back & being a grind it yourself aficionado of sorts, was NOT happy.
Figured since I had it, I'd give it a try, even though I've never had a cup of pre ground I could stand. I must say I was more than a little surprised. . . Wow, is more like it - this pre ground delivers a smooth, delicious cup of coffee that certainly gives any whole bean I've ever tasted a run for it's money. That said, I've been ordering it since that first bag ran out & have not been disappointed. Good job, Peet's!

Here's what you should know about me: I'm a hardcore Starbucks devotee/addict. I'm not a big fan of their brewed coffees, but I love their espresso. It's the only thing I order. I recently went in search of a good coffee that I could bring to work and share with my coworkers - our office stocks Folgers, which is really kind of them, but ... Well, you know - it's just Folgers. I stumbled upon this Peet's Big Bang, and the name caught my attention - so did the size of the bag (20oz) and the price ($12.58 at the time). I ordered it, I brewed a pot at work one morning, I poured myself a small cup to try ... I was instantly hooked - and so were my coworkers. This coffee is absolutely delicious - it's smooth, and there is no bitterness to it whatsoever. I've never been so enamored with a cup of brewed coffee. I've tasted many, many brewed coffees - at cafes and restaurants, at people's houses, at churches I've attended - and nothing has ever even come close to this stuff. I still get my Starbucks every morning, but I also pour myself a cup of Peet's when I get to work and I savor it. I'm tinkering with the idea of brewing a double-strength batch to see how it holds up as iced coffee, but in the meantime, I'll enjoy it hot, room temperature, and eventually cold as my morning goes on. No matter the temperature, its deliciousness holds up. And I've placed several more orders - I even had some coworkers kick in some cash so we can keep this in stock as long as possible. It's worth every penny.

Peet's Coffee, Major Dickason's Blend Dark Roast, Ground Coffee

I hesitate to give this 5 stars, because it will become so popular that I will not be able to get it any more. It is dark but smooth... delicious.

I usually don't write reviews but I had to for this coffee. Very dark and full bodied coffee. But the thing that stands out for me is that they show the roast date on the package. Similar to micro breweries to coffee roasters few stamp the actual date on the package. Peet does this and many others need to follow suite.

#1, Maj. Dickason's blend from Peet's is great coffee#2, I ordered this Jan 24, 2019, received it on Jan 28. But it was ground on Oct 18, 2018 with a Best By date of Jan 18, 2019.
#3, I'm slow, but I finally found a way to contact Amazon via email and immediately received a phone call from Customer Service (as I had requested). The Amazon rep, Alex M, quickly straightened things out by promising an overnight replacement with fresher ground coffee, for free and with no shipping charge... it arrived this morning!! "Ground on 1-10-19, Best by 4-10-19." Yippee!
#4, This same problem happened a few years ago for the same coffee from a different Amazon vendor, who immediately refunded the purchase price (as I requested).
#5, I am sure that an empire like Amazon keeps good records of our purchases, frequency and prices. I noted on Alex's email summary, that showed, among other data: "18 orders in the past 6 months;" whether that was a factor in how I was dealt with and "made whole," I don't know. But mega-kudos for swift resolution of a small glitch.
#6, I mentioned to Alex that this incident might make the order-pickers pay more attention to details, which would save me some inconvenience and would save Amazon some money.

This coffee is so good! if you like smooth coffee that has a deep flavor and is rich and smokey, this is your coffee! Peets coffee has never let me down but this brazil flavor is so smooth.

I have sampled thousands of coffees in my life as a coffee lover. In my travels I have had coffees in Europe's most prestigious venues, all the way to fine African and Indian coffee blends in both regions/countries. Peet's Major Dickason's blend reminds me of the coffee at an old British Officer's Club in Mumbai India, I once had. Rich, complex, bold and just the right amount of flair.

Peet's coffee in general is superior to any coffee I have had, but Major Dickason's blend is the best of even that elite group.

Banza Chickpea Pasta – High Protein Gluten Free Healthy Pasta – Penne (Pack of 6)

Banza Chickpea Pasta – High Protein Gluten Free Healthy Pasta – Penne (Pack of 6)

My wife and I had stopped eating pasta for the most part in our at home diet in an attempt to curb overall carb consumption. I missed pasta and I longed for its sweet and usually sauce covered embrace. I first came across Banza in the aisles at Sprouts and figured i'd give it a try. I'm now taking time out of my day to write a review to support this new product. It's a great substitute for pasta, especially for those looking to keep a higher protein diet and to reduce carbohydrate intake. It prepares the same and tastes great. Prepare it however you love your pasta, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I like to make mine as follows:
- 1-2 grilled chicken breasts diced into bite sized pieces
- toss into the cooked strained pasta, add small amount of olive oil
- add italian salad dressing (i prefer Wishbone)
- add parmesan cheese
- (optional) add red pepper flakes and/or hot chile oil (i use mongolian fire oil)
- stir to mix and serve up hot
Trust me, it's delicious.

If you are looking for a lower carb option to traditional pasta, this works. Has higher protein content... and a lower carb count compared to regular pasta. The texture is something like "al dente" ... they taste almost exactly like pasta... slightly.. vegetabley?? I couldn't really pick out a "chick pea" flavor - everyone is different though... It's hard to describe.. but definitely tasty. I like that this was a "variety" case so you get to try different shapes... depending on what you using it for... sauce, casserole, etc... Honestly, I would buy it again. I also think if you haven't tried it, its worth trying.

Banza is the real deal. I had been on the hunt for a healthier pasta that didn't leave me feeling as sluggish as normal pasta, but after trying every brand out there I was losing hope of finding a worthy replacement. They all had earthy tastes, odd textures, or couldn't hold their own in traditional pasta dishes. Then a friend of mine recommended Banza, and I haven't looked back since. With a great taste & stacked nutrition facts, Banza pairs nicely with traditional pasta dish ingredients without sentencing me to the hours-long food coma that I had grown accustomed to from regular pasta. It's great for post-workout, too, packing an extra punch of protein without having to overload on carbs in the process. Would recommend!

Oh, my! This is the gluten-free linguine pasta I have been dreaming of! As other reviewers have stated, this Banza pasta tastes better than any other gluten-free pasta I have eaten. And being celiac, and the only celiac in my household, my family and I have tasted them all. This Banza Chickpea Pasta tastes just like "real" pasta, and cooks up nice and firm, like real pasta. Other gluten-free pastas dissolve in the cooking water within in a very few minutes. This pasta behaves like regular pasta, and allows you to cook it to "al dente" if you desire, or further, without falling apart. I cook it for 10 minutes in salted boiling water as per the cooking instructions on the box. My family loves it, and could not tell the difference the first time I served it. It also has more protein than many other pastas. So far I have served it with my spaghetti meat sauce and also used it as a side dish to roasted chicken in my "pasta cappellini with lemon, garlic and parsley" recipe. It's perfect! My family loves it. Altogether, it's a winner!

The Banza brand is the best tasting wheat pasta substitute I've tried. The taste and texture are close to the real thing. Two things I would also point out. First, the cooking time required is very short. Secondly, this pasta does have a higher net carbohydrate count than some other bean based pastas, but it's still much lower in carbs than any wheat pasta I've found. I wouldn't use it for a very low carbohydrate diet, but it's probably fine if you are trying to moderate or reduce the carbs in a normal diet.

Description

When we first started doing this, we asked people what they thought about pasta. The comments? "Guilty pleasure." "Food coma." "Delicious, but too fattening." We're changing all of that. By making pasta from chickpeas instead of wheat, Banza is bringing the sexy back to pasta. No more need to feel guilty at the end of a pasta meal. Because Banza has twenty five grams of protein per serving, it's particularly filling. You'll never think of pasta the same way again. Banza!

This product is amazing!!! A friend of ours told us about Banza and so we decided to order some. Three days after it arrived, we served the angel hair at a large dinner party and EVERYONE had a second helping. Then we told them it was a chickpea pasta. Lots of amazed looks and comments. It's both yummy and healthy. We plan to try the other Banza products next.

I've tried a lot of the alternatives to pasta and this by far the best! I love the different varieties there are - it really does replace regular pasta for me. Unlike some of the other pasta alternatives I've tried, Banza holds up well in the fridge in case you make more than you meant to or are trying to keep it for leftovers. I'm not gluten-free like some of the other reviewers, but I wanted to try it because it has the half the carbs and double the protein which is amazing. I don't think I'll go back to regular pasta after this...it's amazing!

Lower in carbs and higher in protein, a 3 1/2 oz serving can rival 4 oz of cooked lean beef for protein and even surpass it a little. Easy to cook up, do not overcook and do not let it sit without draining though. It tastes a little beany plain. Add spices, sauces, etc, and you can't taste that. Trust me, this is a great thing if you are celiac, (no gluten), vegan (and need protein in your diet) or both. A great way to add protein without noticing it.

Product has a good mouth feel and made properly, you can't tell it from durum semolina pasta. It is slightly less yellowish than wheat pasta but not noticeable in general. It is also lower in carbs for a given serving versus wheat pasta (43 to 71 grams I think) which can help if you are trying to cut carbs and are counting them. Price can fluctuate at times which I hate (it can nearly double in price at times) depending on who's supplying it.

Overall, I do depend on this product to help add protein to my diet. In a way you really can't notice. And in the world of 'replacement foods' I've met over the last several years this one really does deliver. Boxes are 8 ounces so you get just over two servings for the protein that beats lean ground beef... whole box is 52 g protein.

Additions: if you are used to durum semolina (wheat pasta) this is NOT going to taste or chew like wheat pasta. Period. It will take a bit of experimentation to get it to come out well. Tricks I have learned after about 12 CASES of shells (the most glue/cardboard of all the shape):

Put in water at just boiling. If a few pasta dumped in cases minor boilup, then chills, you're adding them at the right time. I add before vigorous boil and have learned with the same 2.5 quart stainless steel pot on a gas stove burner, how long it takes that amount of water to get to 'low boil' and actually set a timer.
Scum abatement: these will form a 'scum' that can resemble beaten eggwhites. These will resemble merengue.. I dump my box of pasta shells, stir once, set timer (midrange of how long to cook, then spend 1-2 minutes scooping scum off. Stir once more and I lower heat slightly and get ready to drain and sauce/spice. I tend to put timer at mid time of the, tastetest then adjust time. For me I know the exact time using that pot, that much water and those setting of burner. Then I skim the stuff one more time quickly, 10-15 seconds, then turn heat off and drain. Drain fast. If you are going to use it later, dump in baggie, burp air and refrigerate. Heat your sauce to piping hot at serving time, add the pasta from baggie, and it will reconstitute well. Else add your sauce or other at the time you finish draining and serve immediately.

If you are still using durum semolina pasta as a part of your diet, this will fall short. If it's your only pasta (as in celiac diet) it will be excellent. Just remember it is NOT durum semolina, and you will be fine. (durum for wheat means a certain high protein level which can be 'worked' for such heavily worked items as bread and pasta, to develop the proteins into tender light and somewhat chewy items such as bread and "normal" pasta. One that translates better to the Semolina palate is the Rotini. It cooks fairly well except the very core of the spiral. For the shell, this is about the worst to get to taste well. The shells have come up lately as the cheapest of the Banza chickpea pastas, and I eat these for protein addition to diet. I admit I buy 'cheapest today'. Any of the Banza Chickpea pastas are great for adding protein to a diet. Please, take notes and don't be scared to change things to make the pasta come out better. One major issue is drain immediately. The other is flavoring it to be acceptable. Stick to a heavy fat, chunky sauce that is already at serving temperature and add these last and servie immediately. This sort of pasta will absorb water like nobody's business and turn soggy in nothing flat. It's best served hot and fresh.

I love veggie pastas, even if I can't digest them as easily as traditional pasta. (Meaning that without probiotics, I get gassy. So I just take probiotics before and after eating veggie pastas and I am just fine.) I don't have any pasta related allergies, so I don't *need* to seek alternatives, I just enjoy having options.

The box is surprisingly empty, the pasta is filled to barely reach the top of the window on the front of the box. The height of the cardboard could be cut in half...it's kind of a waste of box, but it's not a big deal in the end. I boiled salted water, and added the chickpea penne like ordinary pasta. I cooked it until it was my preferred texture, and strained away the cooking water. I dressed it with a chunky sauce and a drizzle of green chili infused oil. It was delicious! The penne was a little chewier than traditional pasta, but I like that. Also, my leftovers the next day weren't soggy, this pasta doesn't absorb liquids over night.

I am very pleased with this pasta, and will happily buy it again! 🍝

I have been trying to reduce the amount of wheat-based highly processed carbs in my diet so I wanted a good alternative to standard pasta. I've heard both good and bad about bean-based pasta but after hearing about Banza from my sister-in-law and my mom I thought I'd give the angel hair a try. I'm glad I did! Some tips that they gave me and that seemed to work: 1) don't overcook! Initially go for the lowest range in the recommended 'cook for' instructions and adjust as needed for you, and 2) rinse the pasta right after straining. It seems to help keep it from clumping together as much. I have really liked this pasta, better than the whole grain wheat pasta I've tried, and just as much as regular pasta.

eero Pro WiFi System (Set of 3 eero Pros) – 2nd Generation - Advanced Tri-Band Mesh WiFi System to Replace Traditional Routers and WiFi Range Extenders – Coverage: 5+ Bedroom Home

eero Pro WiFi System (Set of 3 eero Pros) – 2nd Generation - Advanced Tri-Band Mesh WiFi System to Replace Traditional Routers and WiFi Range Extenders – Coverage: 5+ Bedroom Home

This is long updated review on 6 different wifi systems and why we picked and are still using Eero. We were very happy with the 1st Gen Eero system and just upgraded to 2nd Gen with 2 beacons and wanted to share our experience to end wifi issues/dead spots in our home. This is our overall experience and perhaps it will help you with your decision.

WIFI SYSTEMS PURCHASED:
Orbi, Velop, Amplifi HD, Google Wifi, 1st Gen Eero and 2nd Gen Eero with 2 beacons

LOCATION:
3000Sq Ft Townhome with at least 45 devices connected at any time. 3D printers, Sonos players in every room and outdoors, Phillips Hue, Amazon Dots, Ooma, Smart TV’s, IOS/Android phones, tablets and computers, Apple Tvs, 10+ POE 4MP Security cameras, Ring/Chime devices and the list goes on. Work remotely so lots of video calls, exchanging, uploading, downloading and working on design files online. My Little Pony and a bevy of others streamed for the little one via Netflix/Hulu etc. ISP is Comcast with 200mbps down and 10mbps up. Wifi dense community of townhomes with lots of interference which affect signal penetration. This was the place where Wifi went to die!

SITUATION:
Started with Comcast router/modem then tried Comcast modem with Netgear X6, Comcast modem with Netgear X8, Arris SB6190 with Netgear X8 and Netgear extender. Signal was great close to the modem/router but the further away you moved service degraded quite rapidly in our home. Also multiple SSID were a huge pain. Enter the wave of Wifi systems. We researched different products and read reviews on multiple sites. Reviews were too close so we bought the top 6 systems for real life testing in our home.

CRITERIA:
We bought these test systems with no promotions and no promises of a good review. We established simple criteria for our testing:
1) Product design
2) System setup
3) Ethernet wired backhaul
4) Firmware updates
5) System app
6) Customer service
7) Seamless roaming
8) Throughput/signal strength
9) Conclusion
We ranked the systems from 1st to 6th under each criteria. Here are our results.

PRODUCT DESIGN:
The designs are in different directions. The Orbi is the largest with an industrial design direction. Eero is the shortest an has an Apple-lesque minimal design. The new beacons are much better designed and inconspicuous when compared tot he Amplifi beacons. The nightlight is a welcomed additional feature. The Amplifi main units has a cool techy feel to it with a main unit with a bright LCD screen but thats where the design stopped because the satellite units have a quirky magnetic design - A child magnet because my daughter was always trying to adjust them for us. Google was just simple and quite unassuming. Velop had a modern feel/look to it. We found ourselves drawn to the simple clean design of the Eeros because they blended easily with our decor. (See images) However design is so subjective that it depends on what you like.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Velop (3rd) Google (4th) Orbi (5th) Amplifi

SYSTEM SETUP:
We set them up using an iPhone 7 Plus except for the Orbi which we used an iMac. We maintained the same room/general location main/satellite units for testing. Orbi setup is through the internet and that was easy and fast and it found the satellites with no issues. Eero set up was easy via the app and it found the satellites with no issues. We had to reposition the Google, Amplifi and Velop satellites during the initial setup for the main units to “see” them - (See Customer service section). After setup we plugged ethernet cables into the Velop, Google and Eero satellites to maximize performance. Orbi and Amplifi do not have this feature. Overall the setup for each 3 unit pack took less than 10mins for Eero/Orbi and less than 30mins for the rest. The 2nd Gen Eero with the updated software have the quickest setup till date. Even better than the previous Eero. Standouts here are Orbi and Eero because set up was simple and straight forward. However the edge goes to Eero due to how simple it was to set up with the app.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Google (5th) Amplifi

ETHERNET WIRED BACKHAUL:
The best connection is a wired connection so we wanted a system with the opportunity to hard wire the satellites. Orbi and Amplifi HD don't support wired backhaul. Amplifi HD uses a portion of its bandwidth to communicate between router and satelllite. Orbi has a dedicated band for its communication. Google Wifi, Velop and Eero support ethernet backhaul so you can hardwire all the units. These systems also work wirelessly. With the 2nd Gen Eero you can only have a wired connection with the main unit. The beacons only work wirelessly. Surprisingly the 2nd Gen beacons work better than the 1st Gen - Much better.. (See throughput/Signal section)

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop. Other 2 systems do not offer ethernet backhaul

FIRMWARE UPDATES:
This is the method employed by the manufacturer to improv and add features to your wifi system. With all the systems you have to update them with the latest software out of the box. Orbi was the most difficult because We had to download the update then apply it - It did not work for us the normal way. Velop, Amplifi and Eero worked in the normal way through their respective apps. After the initial firmware update they all updated automatically. This a splendid feature and how new and improved services are added to your wifi systems. Firmware notes and descriptions are always available on the manufacturer website.

Ranking: Even across the board

SYSTEM APP:
The app is where you interact with and glean all the information about your network and devices. Orbi has an app but its basically worthless and you have to use a net based portal to really access and customize the system. Next is the Amplifi app which at the time of testing wasn't so great. Google, Velop and Eero have the most user friendly apps. You can access your system remotely to control all available features. We are not complex users so advanced features like port forwarding etc etc were not a huge selling point to us. Features we looked for in the app were quality of service, devices connections, which nodes were connected to what device, signal strength to each device, guest access, network diagnosis, number of devices connected (easy way to see what device is actually on your network and what device should not be on your network), pausing internet/blocking devices, built in speed tests, device priority setting and device seamless roaming from node to node. With all this in mind Eero App was the winner hands down. The app was well laid out, information was easily visible and accessible and that made it a joy to use

Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Orbi

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
With new tech there is always the possibility of issues so going in we knew we might have to deal with potential issues and were ready. We had to spend a couple of hours with each companies customer service for different issues even after the set up process went well. Velop and Orbi customer service appears to be offshore and we had a difficult time explaining and understanding what they were saying and it sounded like they were reading from scripts. Amplifi customer service was through chats and that really did not help much. Google Wifi customer was decent and they are in the US. We were unable to improve the performance in our home and they were sold out so we could not get a replacement. Eero service was and is still light years ahead of the others and they are in the US. We were able to speak with, understand and formulate a plan for our specific situation. It did not feel as if they were reading from scripts but more trying to understand our issue, troubleshoot and resolve. They followed up with calls and emails to make sure our issues were addressed. We felt that if we had any issues in the future we knew who to call. With the 2nd Gen we did not need to contact customer service as everything went smoothly.

Ranking: (1st) Eero (2nd) Google (3rd)Amplifi (4th) Orbi (5th) Velop

SEAMLESS ROAMING:
A major selling point of Wifi systems is seamless roaming/handover between nodes. Basically as you move through your home/office the systems connects your device to the node that is closest or the one that gives it the best signal. Its actually fun to watch the switch offer through the app. Theoretically Orbi, Amplifi and Velop state that your devices switch between nodes for best service but offer no way to view the transitions. No way for you to see what node you a device is connected to at any time. This is another area where Google and Eero outshine the competition. Both apps tell you which node your device is connected to. However Eero goes a few steps further and shows you what band is being used, signal strength of connected node and activity levels. As the signal strength weakens (goes from 5 green bars to 1 red bar) you can watch as the devices switches to the next node. Eero unleashed new software and it shines with the 2nd Gen. The switches are quicker and smoother. It was fun watching as Eero switched nodes as we moved from room to room. We actually turned that into a game to see which node would step up and take over.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd Gen (2nd) Eero 1st Gen (3rd) Google. Other 3 systems did not offer the ability to monitor

THROUGHPUT/SIGNAL STRENGTH:
With our old units we had lots of inconsistent signals and loss of speed. We pay for 200 down and 10 up and old systems never even got close. All 5 systems tested improved upon our situation. From last to first we would rank them as follows. 5) Google Wifi never gave us more than 50% of upload speeds. 4) Amplifi gave us about the same as Google wifi. 3) Velop was not consistent and varied between 50% and 96%. 2) Orbi was also inconsistent and varied between 70% and 100%. 1) Eero provided 100-120% consistently however the new system with the beacons provided 110 - 135% consistently. Even though we got signal improvements with all the units the differentiator was “consistency of signal, speed and connection”. Hands down best performer were both Eero systems. We got consistent speeds at each node and at all corners of our home. The Eero system with the beacons connected slightly faster. Unlike Orbi and Velop the Eero systems did not cut in and out or have lapses of slow speed. They were also consistently faster than all the other units.

Ranking: (1st) Eero 2nd and 1st Gen (2nd) Orbi (3rd) Velop (4th) Amplifi (5th) Google

EERO VS EERO
The 2nd Gen was slightly faster, smoother, quicker to set up. However the main difference here is ethernet ports. The first generation 3 pack has a total of 6 ports - 2 on each unit. The newer system has just 2 ports on the main unit and no ports on the beacons. If you need ports at ever Eero location the new version with beacons will not work for you. If most of your devices are wired and you need a stronger consistent Wifi signal then the newer units perform better than the first and will be great. The Eero pro with 3 units would be the best of both worlds and we have that on order and will update the review when we get that. We switched from the 1st Gen to the 2nd Gen because we have most of our devices wired and just needed a strong wifi system. The new system with the beacons are much stronger than the old 3 pack system. In our home the beacon system is so strong that we won't need to add more whereas we added extra units of the 1st generation

IMAGES:
We have switched from using our 5 1st Gen to 3 2nd Gen Eeros (Eero and 2 beacons). We included images of our Eero locations (Gen 1 and 2) as well as size compared icon for the beacons and the night light feature. We also included images showing the differences between the 1st and 2nd Gen main units. 2nd Gen has a physical reset button and now charges with USB C. The beacons once plugged in are basically inconspicuous. We now only use 1 main unit and 2 beacons. Awesome!

CONCLUSION:
For our home we ended up with an Eero system because it won in all the categories that mattered to us. We loved the minimal design, easy set up, wired ethernet backhaul, fluid app, seamless roaming and customer service Eero provided. In real life use in our home Eero (1st or 2nd) just worked with no complications. This is our Eero experience in our setting. Now all of us can do what ever we want with wifi anywhere in and outside our home. We hope the review will help you and we will help with questions you may have. Eero gets a full recommendation from us. Hands down the best overall system out there by far. Great job Eero!!

Ok, I will admit that I bought these with the full intention of probably having to send them back. Through the years I have tried several different systems to put good wireless throughout our 3-story home. I've used several different routers, and have had an Apple AirPort Extreme and two Airport Express' running (which still provide the backbone in the house for our less needy machine system). But nothing I did could get a good signal into the master bedroom in the back of the house, especially with the main router being in the home office upstairs on the other side of the house. My better half constantly let me know I was a poor excuse of a Network Engineer when she wasn't even able to watch the latest Korean drama in peace while laying in bed.
Unpacking - simple and clean. Download and install the app. on your smart phone before you start doing anything as it walks you through the install (and does an incredibly simple and great job of it). Install and setup of the main hub took me all of about 5 minutes with most of that time spent finding an extension cord. As I was replacing an existing wireless setup once I had the system up and running all my iPads and such connected automatically as I had used the same SSID and password. Setting up the Beacons took about 30 minutes, with most the time taken in selecting location so I would have a good mesh of the signal. Again, the App. walks you through every step, and lets you know if you have selected a good spot or if you might want to move a beacon to a different location for a better mesh. The App. is a thing of beauty, with all the information you need right at your fingertips. The stuff you usually want to customize (like the names of the Beacons) are customizable. Once I had all the Beacons set up I went through the house trying to find a weak spot or dead spot. Couldn't find one - not one! Guess I won't be sending this stuff back after all. Sure put a smile on my better half's face! Oh, and is this thing FAST!!!

Also, a note about Apple products. I have read the other reviews that say the eero doesn’t work well with Apple products. I don’t know why they are having problems. My system has been up and running for about two months now with zero problems. And it stays connect rock solid to all manner of devices (about 26 I believe) including two iPads, two iPhones, an iMac, a MacBook Pro, a Smart Thermostat, a couple Apple TV’s, a Ring Smart Doorbell and three Ring remote doorbells. Oh, and two of them do double duty as night lights. And the system has updated itself twice that I know of (I would only know as it would tell me after the fact).

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your WiFi. After years of going through WiFi routers I have FINALLY found a mesh network that works in this haunted house.. I live in an all brick house. 4000 sq feet. 2 stories. This has been a daunting task for as long as I have lived here for about 5 years. Constantly plagued with wifi problems. No matter what. I've gone through a stack of 10 different wifi dongle/adapters over the years.

I have a router graveyard in my basement of very high end routers (they all still work, just not in this house lol). Including Netgear Orbis (2 router mesh), Linksys Velop (3 router mesh), ASUS RT-AC3200, Apple Airport Extreme, ASUS RT-N66U, Securifi Almond, TP-Link AC3200 Archer.

Orbis would drop out. It couldn't even get a stable connection 20 feet away. The Velop system, similar issues. You'd think with 3 Meshed network, it would work better than the 2 Orbis. Nope. Orbis has no flexibility whatsoever. The channel selection process was horrific. Another great thing about this, the size! It's so small! It's by far the best performance I've ever measured. Also, the setup is the EASIEST I have EVER done. Typically, when Netgear or Linksys say go download their App - its so easy, it really never is. There's always some issue.

Eero's, is a company that is thinking outside the box. They know the problems that plague users today. This new generation of eeros, absolutely demolishes all previous mesh networking competetion - utterly and completely. I'm so extremely happy. I used to have to run a 150+ foot Ethernet cable, all the way from upstairs to downstairs. Across the kitchen, down the stairswell, into a guest room. It was awful. No longer!

For 5 years, my wife would not stop talking about that cable. We're renewing our wedding vows tonight.

Still a lot better than Google and Linksys but not worth to upgrade from the old Eero to this one. If do don't have an Eero already and you want fast and reliable internet without spending time on setup and maintenance get this one (or a smaller bundle for a smaller house).

Eero is easy to setup (same as the older one) and is very reliable but a Mesh network is not magic, if you have an older house with chicken-wire in the walls or shielding in the floors you will still need to connect each of them to a cable. Just test it, it might work without but the good thing of Eero is that you have that option and it works perfectly, also during setup. This bundle allows all three devices to be connected to a cable, if you don't need that or have a smaller house, get the cheaper bundle. These ones don't have the USB port anymore so you cannot use it to charge your phone or Fitbit and it will never have the option to connect a hard-disk unless you buy a separate NAS.

I also have tried Google Wifi which is a bit slower and unreliable (one died after 30 days, a real hassle to get it replaced, they only want to give a refund for a third of the value for which I cannot buy another unit) and the Linksys Velop which would constantly disconnect the Ring Doorbell and then it lost settings which was extremely painful to setup from the beginning (got rid of it after two days).

Some feature requests if somebody from Eero is reading this, I will give another star if one of these features is implemented:
1) Make it possible to setup a third network besides main and guest. A special one for IOT devices, I don't want my doorbell on my internal network and also not on the guest network, just let those IOT devices connect to the internet, not each other or anything else.
2) Make it possible to prevent certain devices to access the internet, like my printer, I would like to access my printer from my main network but there is absolutely no reason for my printer to call home to HP.
3) Make it possible to limit the bandwidth of the guest network, 5 down and 2 up should be enough, if so I can be a good net-citizen and can leave off the password so anyone can use it.
4) Expose the list of MAC addresses on an API, so you can auto populate it and remotely monitor new devices.
5) Make VPN easy, partner with one of those cheap VPN providers so they can make an one step setup that will enable the Eero to have a persistent VPN connection going out (auto-re-connect), in the App you should be able to select which device(s) needs to go over that VPN channel or block it from accessing internet.

We had such terrible wifi in our house from the moment it was installed. This was using the $200 gateway we have to use with our xfinity cable with phone. We have a three level house, and the router is on the top level. We had spotty internet on the main level, with so much buffering on our Firestick that I usually gave up trying to watch anything with it. We had a terrible connection on the lower level--nearly impossible. We had no wifi to speak of outside the house. About three weeks ago, we installed our Eero system. It took a few minutes. I bridged the gateway, so our wifi is solely via Eero. It's almost miraculous, seriously. We're getting download speeds in the 80's-90's throughout the entire house. I did a speedtest this morning out on the deck, and I got 89.11 down and 13,79 up. This was money well spent! I'd give 10 stars if I could. Total game changer!!!

Description

The ultimate Wi-Fi experience. The Pro systems comes with three eeros. Their built in Ethernet ports and powerful tri-band mesh make this system the perfect solution for work from home professionals, entertainment systems, and homes with Ethernet wiring. Ios requirements: device running iOS 8.0 or later, Android requirements: device running Android 4.3 or later (tablets included). the Pro system is powered by true mesh, the software and mesh routing algorithm at the Core of every Eero. It’s the next generation of wireless mesh technology, custom-built from the ground up to work perfectly with Eero. Taking full advantage of the hardware, it means that your Wi-Fi is not only fast and resilient, but also intelligently adapts to your home.

It all starts with strong, reliable and secure WiFi coverage!!!
When I decided to build a smart home ecosystem, my thoughts were to build from the outside in, thus allowing me to ensure greatest device flexibility and compatibility for future expansion. I studied and followed reviews of every available mesh system for 3 months before making a decision.
Choosing Eero and Eero Plus has proven to be the single most important choice as the backbone of my operation.
Prior to Eero, WiFi in my home was horrendous. I have always subscribed to very high speed (.5-1G) internet but could never get more than 2-3% performance from it. Everything on our system would buffer constantly, even standing next to the router. Now we have no dropped signals and achieve 80-90% even in the backyard and front street. None of the devices on our system experience buffering.
The idea of mesh was enough to sell me on Eero, but considering the low fee for having Eero Plus as the all inclusive anti-virus for every device on my network was icing-on-the-cake. I’ve found that many people don’t understand the importance of having active antivirus, phishing, bot, spy and malware protection for every device on their network. Especially televisions, locks, thermostats, WiFi plugs and switches as these devices are highly susceptible to being hacked. Eero provides live protection from these attacks.
The sprinkles are the ability to “lock-down” and limit my teenagers use, guest access and viewable content. Might I add that customer service is impeccable. It really does seem like this system would have been invented by Apple. The Team at Eero gives “live” support. Having added Alexa and compatible components, I have designed a highly complex yet simple to operate smart home ecosystem.

**Update** Dec 18, 2017**
Eero Plus has gone above and beyond by allowing me to add their "anti-everything" to the three laptops that frequently leave my home. This means that while out on wifi-hotspots Eero is actively working to ensure my device/data integrity.

Hands down best mesh system and customer serivce (period)

I have a two level, 1900sq ft condo. Apple router for years has been o'l steady. Easy to set up and maintain, but as I've added more and more devices and put more demand on it (like big TV upstairs) it just seems tired. I get stutter or just very poor connection; have even used turned off the wifi on my iphone sometimes when in bed at night because it can't keep up with Instagram etc.

So I've been ready for a modern solution. There are a few companies making these so-called mesh systems and I tried the 1st gen Eero without luck. Actually boxed it up and sent it back the first day. I need something that works and works right out of the box. I don't want to spend time with tech support and blah, blah, blah. Too busy for that.

Since Amazon makes it easy, I went ahead and took a chance on version 2. Due to the first trouble I had, I planned on following the instructions one step at a time to give it the best chance of working. The software is really nice this round. I had an easy time with it. And I got better guidance on placement of the beacons. I am now "solid" throughout the house with multiple users and no hiccups after 3 days. Plan on selling my Apple router because this is just a lot better.

I have had my Eero network running for about 6 weeks, and I can say that I am fully satisfied. All the interference with my neighbors wifi is no longer an issue, and since I finally optimized the topology, I haven't had one instance of buffering while streaming a video on my FireTV. That being said, the network did take some effort in finding a configuration that worked in my home.

When I first installed the eero network, I placed the gateway and beacons symmetrically down the central hall of my home. After a few hours, first one and then the other beacon would go offline. After at least an hour with customer support, we determined that one of the radios on the gateway was faulty. I replace the gateway, and the network was more stable, but I experienced lags and buffering on my TV. After a few days, one of the beacons went off line. I tried running with only one beacon and the gateway but eventually the other beacon went off line as well. Additionally, I had trouble keeping our Nest camera connected. The eero network kept trying to connect using a 5Ghz channel through an exterior wall. Outside, there were so many other 5Ghz signals from the neighbors that the camera would constantly drop off the network. At this point I was getting frustrated. I then tried setting up the network, not based upon room location and physical distance between eero devices, but based upon client connection distances and obstructions. I place one beacon right next to my TV and far away from the Nest camera. The other beacon I placed at the other end of the house to service a laptop. With this configuration, the eero network constantly uses a 2.4Ghz channel to connect to the nest camera, and I have not had the camera drop since the change. The TV has worked for over 3 weeks with no buffering issues, and I have full (100Mbs) connectivity everywhere in my home. All beacons are now stable and have not dropped since the change. I am now a very happy camper.

The eero system works well if you take the time to find the optimum topology for your setup. The trick for me seemed to be to not place the beacons so they were equal signal strength from any one client. The client device kept switching back and fourth between the beacons and the gateway, and eventually one of the beacons would drop. One feature that eero could add would be to allow a way to tell the mesh network to only use 2.4Ghz channels for selected devices. The eero app is a perfect place to add this feature. Also the placement suggestions on the eero website are, in my opinion, too simplistic. Home coverage is just one variable. As I discovered, placing the beacons based upon where the clients are is also very important.

In summary, I almost rated this 5 stars because in the end my network seems to work flawlessly, but I think a few improvements could be made to the app to allow some user customization of channels, and some feedback when devices are seen switching between nodes frequently. Incidentally, eero support was also very good. The people I spoke with were helpful and knowledgable. Eero is a good choice for improving wifi coverage.

I purchased the eero Pro WiFi System to replace my aging Apple AirPort Extreme AC access points, which were causing me problems. While maximum speeds on the AirPorts were quite high, I found that they were not easily sustainable and my devices would achieve speeds that were wildly different throughout the day, failing to take advantage of my fast gigabit internet connection by delivering speeds, on average, of ~150 Mbps down and up. Eero has been a highly respected player in the home WiFi game for some time now, so I decided to bite the bullet and jump into mesh WiFi technology with what is regarded as the best (though not cheapest) option. I am not disappointed!

HOME WIFI SYSTEM: eero replaces your existing WiFi access points/router, but not the modem that may be required by your internet service provider (ISP). Simply put, eero is your new WiFi solution, providing you with more flexibility in placement and coverage than what your ISP gives you, without clunky additions like network extenders. You manage everything through the eero app, which securely authenticates you and allows you to see which devices are connected, how much network traffic they are using, and which eero node they are connected to. I’ll get into more details about the app below. Security and feature updates happen automatically, so you can stop worrying about that while still keeping your network and devices secure, and gaining new features along the way.

DESIGN: I absolutely love the way these things look. Apple did a great job with their AirPort devices, but I much prefer eero’s thin and squat frame to the taller design of many other access points. The soft white light on the front that shows you everything is working great is nice, and can be turned off in the app if you prefer. Unfortunately each eero Pro node has just two ethernet ports on the back, which means I had to buy a couple of switches to allow me to plug in devices like my PlayStation 4, Arlo security cameras, desktop PC, etc. Most other brands offer more ports than this, but most people will probably not notice.

MESH WIFI TECHNOLOGY PERFORMANCE: This is the crown jewel of the eero WiFi System, and what differentiates it from most other WiFi systems. This mesh system allows each eero node to intelligently speak to other nodes and your devices, determining the best path for the connection to take to ensure you get the best speeds possible around your home. In real world terms this means that I never have to think about how well my devices will perform as I move around the house. I get insanely awesome coverage from my backyard, basement, main level, porch, and upstairs - and can often use my connection at the park across the street. Speeds vary once I get outside (my house has brick exterior walls), but eero powers through the lathe and plaster, and drywall walls that make up the interior of my house. Coverage issues are not a worry any longer. These pro units are incredibly powerful and do not disappoint in any situation I use them in.

QUICK & EASY SETUP: This is no lie. From start (opening the package) to end (running my first speed test), I invested around 10-15 minutes. I just opened things up, plugged the first unit I grabbed into my first ethernet cable, and watched as the eero app handled everything. I was prompted for a network name and password, and then saw the app take over to get everything configured. After my first eero was set up and turned into the gateway (main) unit, I was asked if I wanted to set up other devices. I went ahead with my next Pro unit, and literally just connected it to power. The app detected it and configured it for my network quickly and automatically. I repeated this process for my third and final unit. Super easy. No configuration beyond the basics is required, and I almost couldn’t believe how quickly I was done. Even the most inexperienced users can get this running in minutes.

WIFI SPEED: I have a gigabit internet connection from Verizon FiOS and while I understand that gigabit speeds are not achievable on home WiFi systems, I wanted to get as close to the theoretical maximum as possible. With my eero Pros I consistently get download speeds around 300-400 Mbps both down and up, depending on where I am located. The closer I am to my gateway (main unit) the faster speeds go, but even through the satellite nodes I am capable of maintaining these speeds. I am just not seeing the usual speed drop-off that tends to happen when you are connecting through satellite WiFi units and not the main base station. Impressive!

MOBILE APP: eero’s app is top of its class. It is easy to use, responsive, and allows for advanced customization (if you want) from anywhere. I love that I can monitor my network and make changes to it while away from my home, allowing me to easily see who is connected and what is using bandwidth on my network. From setup to maintenance the app has everything covered in an elegant but powerful solution.

EERO PLUS: This is a new feature that eero began offering, and I find it well worth the $99 per year fee. This is a completely optional service, but expands the capability of your network significantly. The hallmark feature of Plus is its “Advanced Security” feature, which protects your devices connected to your eero network from accessing malicious websites or services and, if you are already infected, can help prevent the spread of the infection or functionality of the virus by blocking its ability to communicate over the internet. This is especially helpful for smart home devices, which are notoriously vulnerable to hacking. It won’t stop everything, but definitely beefs up your internet security. Next, a new beta feature that blocks ads at the network level was recently introduced. This prevents most ads in websites from being displayed - not only speeding up your browsing but also helping to keep you secure by blocking malicious ads that might try to install spyware or track you without permission. Super cool!

In addition to those great standard features of eero Plus, eero is also introducing new benefits to Plus users in December 2017. This includes free access to 1Password, a super secure and handy password manager, and a VPN app. The VPN keeps your devices secure when you are outside of your network, allowing you to use free WiFi hotspots at Starbucks and hotels (and more) securely. It is an incredible deal and almost pays for the cost of eero Plus!

VALUE: eero is not the cheapest WiFi solution by any means, but it will save you in other ways. eero makes WiFi “set it and forget it”. I don’t have to think about WiFi anymore. It just works, and it’s fast. Constantly rebooting your router is something you’ll stop doing the second you get your eero network set up. New features and updates are happening all the time (especially for Plus users!), which only goes to increase its value over the long lifetime I expect with these. At nearly $500, you can absolutely find cheaper options out there. These alternatives lack eero’s awesome mesh networking, and often have unintuitive user interfaces that require learning to use.

I decided to save myself time and hassle and just spring for this Pro System. It was the most expensive networking solution I’ve ever purchased, but also the one that has made me the happiest.

I replaced a DIY WiFi setup for my 5700 sq ft home with Eero. I'm an IT professional with networking experience, so getting WiFi to cover the house was never a real problem, but AP saturation was becoming an issue with all the kids phones, tablets, laptops, etc. and I needed to do something to replace my older Netgear units. I evaluated Oorbi, Linksys mesh, Ubiquiti, and Eero, as well as building a mesh myself again. I wanted wireline backhaul (I have CAT6 throughout the house and specific Access Point locations with Ethernet connections at each one) so I decided to go with Eero as it is one of the few systems providing this feature. This system is VERY simple to setup, but for IT pros it might be a smidge too simplistic. Everything is done via a phone app, and getting to the details can be difficult if you have any issues. If you have a standalone firewall you will likely have to run in bridge mode, which will also remove many of the more advanced features of the system. One of the frustrating things about this system (again for someone with IT experience) is that it can ONLY be managed via the phone app, there is no deeper or more advanced web or desktop management interface and the company's development roadmap doesn't include one nor do they seem to care about the customer requests for one.

That said, since installing, I've had zero issues with WiFi coverage and unlike my DIY setup where occasionally devices wouldn't cross AP boundaries properly, this is seamless and works flawlessly every time, even for my guest WiFi SSID, which can sometimes be challenging in other systems to get working properly.

This is a great, though expensive system.
