Samsung UN50RU7100FXZA FLAT 50'' 4K UHD 7 Series Smart TV (2019)

Samsung UN50RU7100FXZA FLAT 50'' 4K UHD 7 Series Smart TV (2019)

I don't know much about TVs, so this will just be a layman's first impression with some detail specifications.

It took about 10 minutes to unpack and setup.
- To avoid squeezing the screen by lifting the TV out of the box, I tilted the opened box onto the couch and slid it out screen-side up.
- The box contained two feet, foot screws, cable-routing clips, remote control, batteries, power cable, and owner's manual.
- The feet snap onto the bottom and are secured with two screws on each foot.
- The cable clips attach to the feet.
- The power cord is flush with the back of the TV when it is plugged in and drops straight down. Specifications are below.

TV
- The home screen of the TV displays apps(Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.), input sources (HDMI, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi), and web browser.
- The setup process for the apps (user names and passwords) is done with the remote and was painless.
- The remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Hulu, and Prime - convenient for me since I have accounts for all three.
- The TV will default to the last active source when it is turned on.
- The audio level is sufficient, but I plan to add a sound bar.
- The picture and colors (especially black) are incredible compared to my previous TV, a 10 year old LG.
- The TV is very light, I was able to mount it on the wall by myself. I only needed to use two mounting bolts in a single stud since it's only 30 lbs.
- The cable inputs are easily accessible from the side of the TV

I love this TV, I only regret not getting the 55" instead!

I found these detailed specifications online:

The upscaling feature on this TV is impressive! I connected my computer to this TV with HDMI 2.0 played some Dirt Rally 2. I was playing at 1080p and the upscaling on the television did I great job! I thought I was playing at 1440p or rather my monitors native resolution. For reference I'm running a GTX 1080 graphics card. Additionally, I played Hitman 2 from my computer at 1440p and it looked fantastic. I sit roughly four feet away from my TV on a couch and being able to play at 1440p at a rock solid frame rate with upscaling to 4k is awesome. The difference between 1440p and 4k is expensive performance wise and the upscaling this TV provides closes that gap! I have better than 20/20 vision and the difference between 1440p and 4k is negligible on this TV with upscaling.
I tried Hitman 2 at 1440p and 4k resolutions.

As for HDR support this is the first time I've seen HDR in person. I tried turning the effect off and on in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on PS4 Pro. My brother and I both agree that having the effect on is much nicer. Its subtle, but worth it. I also tried turning HDR on in Hitman 2 running from my PC and again the effect is nice, yet subtle. I contemplated getting the QLED module of this TV, which is Samsungs answer to OLED made by their competitors LG...etc. HDR with either a QLED or OLED would be more noticeable. The Samung Q60 43in 4k TV was going for $800 then dropped to $700 on Amazon as soon as it came out a couple days ago. I bought this TV for $430 plus tax so you'll have to decide if the upgrade is worth it to you.

Playing games on the Nintendo Switch like Mario Kart 8 look phenomenal as well. The game natively runs at 1080p, however since this TV outputs all content to 4k everything is upscaled. Looks great! Its not magic however, if you're playing Rocket League on the Switch its going to look and run subpar compared to the more powerful consoles and systems.

Smart features - A smart hub appears whenever you turn the TV on. Since I mainly use my PS4 Pro for Prime Video/ Hulu etc. I turn the smart hub off that way I don't have exit the smart hub everytime I turn on and off the TV. I really like how the TV automatically switchs HDMI sources when it detects them! Super convenient! The TV automatically detected my DirectTV remote. This created some initial confusion as I was using the new remote until I tried my old DirecTV remote. I do like how this TV has the option for both Ethernet and WiFi support as updating the television will be much easier.

Controls- the navigation in the menu is easy to understand. I like how this TV has an auto brightness function in eco mode. The TV senses the brightness in the room and adjusts accordingly. I only thought that was available on the more expensive modules so that was a nice surprise. The game mode on this TV is very responsive, I believe 15ms response time which is fast for a VA panel TV. The motion looks excellent on the Samsung RU7100 compared to my friends flickering Vizio TV.

I would have liked to have is a navigation button on the underside of the RU7100 TV. This was likely omitted for space reasons as the TV is very thin.

Overall - I am highly satisfied with the Samsung RU7100. Over the last few weeks this television has become more and more enjoyable as I discover new features and test the panels capabilities over different devices...consoles/ PC etc. You will be happy with this purchase!

I received this TV yesterday and set it up and have been taking my time getting used to it. I will add an in-depth review once I get to know it and all of its features. So far, it's okay, not great and not bad.

I want to let you all know two things. First, some people said they didn’t get screws for the feet the tv stands on. I did. Second, Amazon says batteries don’t come with the remote, but they indeed do.

Setup was very simple. The tv will determine what you have plugged in to the HDMI port. In my case it was my DirecTv receiver and it programmed my remote for me. I can use either the remote for the tv or the DirecTV remote to control the receiver.

Picture quality is something you have to see for yourself. This may be considered lower end for 4K, but who really cares if it’s doing exactly what you needed it to?

If for any reason you are worried about this being shipped, don’t be. The box came in excellent condition and nothing was broken inside. I got the 50” so you may want someone to help you bring it inside and set it up.

For the price, you aren't going to get the best picture compared to a 2k+ oled tv but the picture is definitely great and the sound is awesome too. No complaints.

Description

See all your favorite entertainment as it was meant to be seen. Enter the world of 4K, where every Show, season, and scene is upscaled with.

Just received this TV today for use in the bedroom after our older Vizio 55 inch suddenly stopped working. I have to say I am impressed.

Setup was a breeze, it connected to my Note 9 right off the bat and helped get everything setup, including my wifi without having to re-enter the password. That was very nice.

The picture quality is great for the price range, no complaint at all, viewing angle works well in the room it is in and 4k looks great, it is not going to look as amazing as the P Series we have in the living room, that was a far more expensive television that has full array, but it is damn good. Great value, great TV.
The remote is a little awkward for we with some of the smaller buttons, but I work consteuction and my hands dont deal well with smaller buttons, so that might just be an issue with me. If anything changes I will update my review.

Great upscale processor, good smart features, but poor viewing angles.

UPDATE 5/14: Received replacement TV from Amazon at no charge and quickly. Not broken, turns on and works perfect. Of course, while this is not the best 4k TV that you can buy, for the price it is pretty amazing.

I'm not well versed on petty things that people would say about this TV and I'm not too much of a videophile, but I just wanted a 4k TV to get with the times. I'm normally an LG guy, but Samsung has impressed me with this one. I'm coming from a 10 year old non-smart TV, so this is a big upgrade from what I'm used to. Below are a few nice things I've found out with this TV.

- You can use the Samsung remote with Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, and probably some other streaming devices as well.
- This TV will recognize streaming devices on your network (like a NAS if properly setup for example)
- The AutoMotion works well for 4k movies.

Overall, it's worth the price 100%. I don't watch enough TV/Movies to justify spending over $1,000, so this was perfect.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I received the TV and was more excited than a hog in mud.

I took it out of the box, set it down to attach the stands and to my surprise, it’s physically broken. It appears it was dropped and still packaged by Samsung anyway. That’s just my speculation.

I contacted Amazon and they are sending a replacement. Will update the review once I’m able to turn it on and see a picture.

The color and picture is perfect. Sound is average a sound bar would be perfect. Easy setup. Love the Netflix button kn the remote, so functional.

The size is perfect in my livingroom. The picture is clear and the color is amazing. Also, the television was easy to set up.

Dell D Series LED-Lit Monitor 31.5" White D3218HN, FHD 1920x1080, 16:9, IPS LED Back-lit, HDMI, VGA, VESA

Dell D Series LED-Lit Monitor 31.5

These monitors are great overall and not only because of the price point. When I originally was looking for new monitors to use in my home office I knew I wanted a theee monitor setup and at first as I was worried when I was considering the size of these monsters - but let me tell you that is no issue at all! These massive monitors are a beauty and like you’ll see in my photos included with this review - they are clean and look great. I’m very happy with them and they work great for my office type work and display vivid details. I do not game on them but I did watch several YouTube movie trailers in 1080p and they looked nice.

Connectors are limited but the VGA and HDMI are plenty to work with and I’m sure that also contribute some to the nice price point of these. I used all 3 monitors in my setup on the HDMI out and then the other end of the wire going into my graphics card is where I either had Display Port or HDMI ends to make the connections work. No hassle at all just have the correct wires for your setup.

I must say that with such a massive monitor you’ll want a graphics card capable of getting these to an ideal 1920 x 1080 resolution size, and in my case I’m using a Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti which handles that with ease. Anything lower than that will start to blur, etc. I don’t think you can find a better deal in this class, super satisfied customer with the purchase of these 3 monitors.

It's a beautiful monitor.

The overall image quality is adequate for every day use. The screen is a little glossy so there are reflections on sunny days.

We bought this from a local store and we were confused on whether or not the monitor has speakers. It does not. You will have to purchase speakers or headphones separately. We did find a nice sound bar on amazon which fits this monitor very nicely. Saxhorn mini sound bar in white.

Good budget monitor if you need one that's this large. 1080p at this scale isn't super sharp, but that's not the monitor's fault. It'll work fine at a distance, or if you have bad eyesight. For regular people and common computer monitor distances, you'll probably be able to see individual pixels. Also note that it does not have DVI or DisplayPort inputs, and it only comes with a VGA cable in the box- you'll have to provide your own HDMI cable.

I had bought 4 AOC 32" monitors because they were low cost. I went to buy another but nobody had them in stock. So I bought this Dell 32" monitor. Both the AOC and Dell are great for a budget low price 32" monitor, but I like the Dell a bit better. It seams like the text is crisper and a tad brighter.

love it for surfing. nice sized text. just be aware. it does not have a dvi input. vga and hdmi only.

This huge screen makes for easy reading of online newspapers and research.

Pros: Beautiful design and amazing value!

Cons: Comparing it to 4K and pixel density

For a 31.5 inch monitor that is immensely affordable (One-Fifty) and 1080p @60 Hz, this a great monitor! I can barely discern the pixels when viewing close, compared to a 4K monitor and a MacBook Pro Retina Display.

I definitely recommend this monitor!

Other than the oddly out-of-place black 'Dell' bezel on an otherwise all white monitor, it appears to be a cheap AOC. In fact, the driver disk that came with the monitor ID's it as an AOC2752 and is unable to install the Dell drivers (see photo). This must be the reason it was sold so cheap.

However, except for a small amount of bleed through near the bottom on a totally black screen, the display is gorgeous. Clear, sharp, and bright. Very good color. So far, I haven't spotted any stuck pixels. It looks at least as good as the 32" HP display nearby (different PC). For what I paid for it, it isn't worth the hassle of returning it, and I may get worse next time.

EDIT: I went to the Dell support page for the DN3218HN monitor and downloaded the driver from there. That one ID'ed the monitor as the correct (Dell) monitor, not the AOC monitor. The driver installed normally. So, the driver disk that was packaged with the monitor is still a mystery. But at least I feel better about the purchase now.

Bought two to replace my aging 32 inch. I like that you can set them up quit easy and there is a setting for text reading. No more than presets of color, but made adjustment easy. I am surprise how well they look for what I paid. Bought them both while on sale for 130 bucks each. Not the best if you want to game with them. You can see that the monitors are a bit slow in response, but still not to bad

I bought this for my parents for Christmas to replace their aging 20" Acer monitor. They absolutely love it! It has a nice picture with good color reproduction and contrast, and the design is clean. Some people complain about 1080p on a 32" monitor but my parents have no issues with it, and It looks pretty good to my eyes as well. It's obviously not as sharp as my 4k 40" screen, and on-screen items are a bit large for my taste, but for everyday use sitting about 18" away it's a solid choice. For $150 this monitor is hard to beat, highly recommended.

Gardein Seven Grain Crispy Tenders, Meatless Protein Packed Strips, Ready in 8 Minutes, 9 Ounces (Frozen)

Gardein Seven Grain Crispy Tenders, Meatless Protein Packed Strips, Ready in 8 Minutes, 9 Ounces (Frozen)

As someone transitioning into veganism I have to say I LOVE these. Honestly tastes pretty much exactly like real chicken, has the same texture and everything. I will definitely be buying more of these!!

I really enjoy these. I make a bag for lunch on a regular basis and use a few different dipping sauces to spice it up. Hands down the best fake-chicken tenders out there in my experience. Made my switch to vegan eating much easier because these are still delicious. If I ever go back to eating meat, I will still eat these as well. *I recommend cooking them at a slightly higher temperature than listed because once they heat up, the oil inside starts to cook to the service and they can be soggy if you don't it cook through that stage. Turn up the heat a little and that oil turns the outside crunchy and delicious.

These are AWESOME. I am a meat eater who is slowly trying to cut down on "actual meat", because I love animals and can't help but feel guilty when I eat them. Meat has always been a huge part of my diet (and I'm quite a picky eater). I was so afraid that all "meat-less meat" would be disgusting, I love the taste and texture of real meat and didn't think any sort of grain/veggie product could come close to matching it. I've tried some "fake meat products" in the past and just couldn't enjoy them, but I'm so glad I purchased these "meatless chicken nuggets"!

Pro: These little things are delicious. They are juicy, tender and flavorful, everything I love about real chicken nuggets but with zero guilt over eating an animal! I honestly may prefer the flavor of these to my usual brand of frozen real chicken nuggets. If someone gave me one of these and didn't tell me I was eating "meatless meat" I absolutely would assume these were real chicken.

Con: My only issue is that you only get 10 small tenders in the bag, so you can't feed a lot of people with one bag, yet it is just as expensive as a huge bag of "real chicken" nuggets down at your local big box store. Perhaps more people would turn to "meatless meats" if the products weren't so expensive. Price is the only thing holding me back from eating these all the time.

This is my go-to snack, always keep 1-2 bags in the freezer when I want something tasty and is SO good with BBQ sauce. They are so easy to make and the best thing that has ever happened to my toaster oven, late nights coming home from work or the airport, or when we don't feel like eating leftover. I tried many of the other meatless options that this brand has for fun, however the crispy tenders are the best. And we like them better than regular tenders!

If you are going vegetarian or vegan - these should be a staple for the first couple of months. My husband was a chicken tender addict before we stopped eating meat and this made his transition into a meatless diet wayyy easier. We still munch out on these occasionally because they're perfect for lazy nights. They're really good tossed in BBQ or buffalo sauce. They're also great to chop up and throw in a salad.

In most of the vegetarian resteraunts I go to they have buffalo wings, and they taste amazing. Everytime I ask what the meat substitute is it's usually Gardein crispy chicken strips! I make these for the kids all the time as a healthy snack, and they love them. Obviously a wonderful alternative to the Mac Nugget of yore.

Fully recommended!

I still can't believe this is not meat. The texture is the same (better) than chicken tenders. Juicy inside, crispy on the outside. I'm not vegan and do love meat, but am just trying to eat less and less. This is the perfect meal or snack. Would buy again and again!

These make for a quick meal or snack. Last night, I wrapped them in ham or veggie bacon (since some of my family eats meat, the ham wrapped chicken tenders were perfect for them). Served with pasta and an alfredo sauce it made for a wonderful meal that everyone loved and it was easy and quick from oven to table.

Still my favorite item from gardein. It's definitely not the healthiest but being a kid from the states means chicken tenders are something you DEFINITELY crave at least a couple times a year. These bad boys are the best alternative I've found.

Yum, these tastes great. I wont say they taste exactly like chicken tenders, but they are good. A bit greasey after cooked.

Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S500B/AM)

Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S500B/AM)

All I can say is wow! I returned an ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 500GB for this one and am so glad I did. All PCIE NVME drives are not created equal and benchmark's don't mean anything because they are synthetic and the drives are built to show the "best" performance on the benchmarks, which can be a far cry from how they actually perform. First the XPG SX8200 Pro website only gives you the best specs from the 1TB drive and it's nearly impossible to find the slower performance information of the 512GB and 256GB drive on their website (should be a big hint to performance since they don't easily publish it, or list the smaller drive specs on the main page). Second, the bench marks were pretty close on cyrstal diskmark, but when I was actually testing 9GB file copies to and from the XPG, it was often below 600MB/s (even as low as 150MB/s steadily). It did perform better at times, but it was so spotty and nowhere near the benchmarks on a regular basis, I either got a dud or it's just not as good as the specs are in real world performance. Yeah, it was about $30 cheaper than the the new Samsung EVO PLUS 970, but in the end, the price difference was waaaaay overshadowed by the real world performance.

So, when I got the 500GB Samsung EVO PLUS 970, I popped it in the same slot that the ADATA was just in and not only did it surpass the specs of the CrystalDisk Mark bench, but the real world file copies (using the same file as before), were steadily around 2000MB/s. Not as fast as the benchmark, but leaps and bounds better than the ADATA and the other PCIE NVME drives I've had the ability to test with. Also, those speeds stayed constant for the entire file copy, where most other drives fluctuate up and down. I know that even larger file copies will eventually slow down when the cache runs out, but that's the same for all PCIe NVME drives that are using TLC (or anything other than MLC flash). And, Samsung is upfront with not just the benchmark read/write performance of the drives when using TurboBoost with the cache, but also the performance speeds you can expect when the cache runs out. No other manufacturer is showing that and that shows Samsung's confidence int their drives.

This drive blew me away, so much, I just ordered another one. I honestly don't think other "similar" drives are even in the ballpark on performance (The WD N750 might be the closest, but it's still not on the level of this drive in REAL-WORLD performance for file copies). If you're considering saving a few bucks on a cheaper PCIe NVME drive, I'd highly suggest you do your own large file copies and see if your "cheaper" drive really handles how it says it will based off of the superficial benchmark tests. Otherwise, save yourself the disappointment and just get the Samsung EVO PLUS to begin with and you'll be happy that you did.

Note the nvme mounting screw is not included. Check your motherboard kit or buy a new one.

Total nightmare to install on a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop. Samsung software only works if it senses a Samsung drive. I mounted the Ssmsung drive in a USB enclosure to clone my existing drive. WRONG! it now identifies as the enclosure name and the Samsung software cannot work as it does not recognize the drive as Samsung. Stupid way to do things Samsung. It makes upgrading to your drive very difficult and your cloning software useless. Had to find a third party cloning program. Tried 3 of them until the last one worked. Wasted many hours to get it to work. Documentation is horrible and the software worse. However, once I got it to work.....WOW! What a difference from the Dell NVME 128gb drive. Way, way faster. Proven by benchmarking program. Very happy with the performance. Makes a big difference. SAMSUNG please make it easier for customers to migrate their data.

I'm using this SSD on a PCIe adapter card because my older Z97 motherboard doesn't support x4. The system is a little quicker, but not much of a gain over the 850 EVO it replaced. I have only really noticed deletion is quicker. I usually transfer files to external drives so I don't benefit from the speed boost much. I like to have the fastest, greatest thing so it was worth the upgrade for me.

Note if using a PCIe adapter card:
Even if a motherboard has multiple PCIe slots, this does not mean they all support GEN3. If you are experiencing half speeds, try a different slot.

The Samsung Data Migration software is very useful, cloned my OS drive to my new Evo 970 plus un less than 30 minutes.

The 970 EVO Plus is specially designed for tech enthusiasts, hardcore gamers, and professionals who need unrivaled performance and superior reliability

This thing is as advertised, which is kinda rare in PC hardware. Check out the diskmark scores and see for yourself.
I used macrium reflect free version to clone my older 256GB ssd to this guy, enabled the UEFI bios to handle it and off I go.

Couple things to keep in mind with this drive or any NVME drive. Enable support in the BIOS. Without that, the drive will not be recognized. It's not DOA, you have to enable NVME in the UEFI(bios).

My board, z170 s didn't like any devices connected to SATA1 and SATA2 in order to work with this drive. The bios found it, but Windows 7 had a fit. It took me a bit to figure this out. Also, if you clone another OS drive to this one, pull the other drive and save any potential hassle.

I'm keeping my other drive for a bit just in case this thing fails because they model is new and ... well ya know..

I bought this before the price jumped up because once word gets out that this thing is as good as it is, the price is gonna skyrocket.

(Instructions on how I installed this on my Z97 board are near the middle of the review)

I spent a small fortune on my current PC at the end of 2015. Enough so that its still plenty fast for all my needs. I upgraded the Video card last year to a GTX 1080. I figured I could get 1 or 2 more years out of it with a new SSD. The intel SSD I was using had about 40% of its life span left, but its read write speeds were in and around 150 mbs.

This nvme ssd blows those numbers out of the water. Granted its not really noticable on boot or opening programs but I expect when I load up my HTC Vive I should get a nice performance boost.

Regardless I will save that for another day because I just spent 3 hours trying to get this SSD functioning with my 4 year old mother board.

For anyone interested this is what I would have done in its proper order had I known everything I needed to do.

I bought this storage controller on amazon: Addonics M2 Storage Controller - Plug-in Card Components Other ADM2PX4 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KDM75XK/)

I installed the nvme into the storage controller and plugged it into the 1st PCIe slot on the motherboard.

Installed Samsung Data Migration tool and Samsung NVME driver (both downloaded from the Samsung website).

I opened computer management in windows and assigned the nvme to a drive letter.

I then cloned my C:\ drive to the nvme drive using the data migration tool.

I downloaded the latest bios for my z97 motherboard from EVGA and copied the .bin file to a small usb drive formatted fat32 (if youre using bios 1.07 it wont recognize the nvme as a boot drive).

I shutdown my computer, opened the case and disconnected the C: drive.

I plugged in the usb drive with the new Bios and restarted the computer.

I went into the bios and updated it to the latest version (its in the save tab).

When it was done, the computer restarted and it booted from the new NVME drive.

Installed (500GB) and works great! Installed in my Dell Latitude 5580 laptop and my ASRock X99 Taichi desktop. Both reaching advertised speeds (your results may vary... depending on the system and configuration). The picture is from my x99 Desktop.

I would not recommend this because of the price. It's cool to have an SSD bolted to the motherboard and not needing to mount it somewhere else in the case. Much cleaner look. It is as fast as advertised but going from a sata SSD to this.. You can't tell under most use cases. Booting windows goes from 7ish seconds to 5. Games load maybe 10-20% faster. The big difference is install times. Blazing fast even for 50plus gig games. If i didn't already need more storage; and just bought this for the speed, then it wouldn't be worth it at all.

Let me start off by saying I concurrently own the 960 EVO, 970 EVO, and now the 970 EVO Plus all at 1 TB storage capacities. Each of them have been blazing fast, significantly faster than standard/traditional sata SSD's. Clearly the 970 EVO Plus outperforms the previous iterations but that was to be expected and is an excellent NVMe drive that typically reaches its claimed read and write speeds.

All that being said, this SSD is geared toward a targeted consumer group, specifically PC enthusiasts or professionals. For starters, you need to have a compatible motherboard on your PC or laptop that can support M.2 drives. Chances are that if you are looking into this product, you probably already know if your hardware does and that's why you're researching this. Furthermore, this SSD is expensive (although not ridiculously so) compared to older sata SSD's. You can currently purchase the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB for $127.99. The 970 EVO Plus drive is almost double the price but almost 7x the performance. However, you have to put it into perspective with previous NVMe's and the market saturation that has occurred with SSD'S (the 960 EVO initially launched at a MSRP of $419.99 for 1 TB), $249.99 for an NVMe drive starts to sound incredibly reasonably priced.

Now, if you're a gamer or the average user who basically only stores media (pictures, videos, etc) then you should probably stick to a sata SSD with a larger storage capacity. You'll get more for your money as NVMe drives are marginally better with load times in games. However, if you are a content creator/professional who consistently moves large files that can take advantage of the read and write speeds , this drive would be an excellent choice as there is a night and day difference compared to a sata SSD. Regardless, this is a quality product and you won't be disappointed in the performance.

*Please note that if installing on a PC motherboard you do not receive a screw with drive. You will have to buy it separately or see if your motherboard supplies one.

Fat Plants San Diego Succulent Plant(s) Fully Rooted in 4 inch Planter Pots with Soil - Real Live Potted Succulents/Unique Indoor Cactus Decor (1, Kiwi)

Fat Plants San Diego Succulent Plant(s) Fully Rooted in 4 inch Planter Pots with Soil - Real Live Potted Succulents/Unique Indoor Cactus Decor (1, Kiwi)

I've ordered from this company many times, and they've never disappointed in the slightest. This plant is no exception: it's beautiful, incredibly healthy, even larger than anticipated, and arrived both in absolutely perfect condition and faster than expected, complete with a hefty disposable warmer packet to shield it from the extreme cold snap we're experiencing. I love it. Fat Plants is wonderful. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.

It was a little dirty and maybe a little bit smushed in one area and I might have to take off one of the flimsy "paws" but I think that is to be expected with shipping a live plant, and even despite that I am very impressed with how well this was packaged and shipped really quickly! I admit I have never seen this plant before but came across it while looking at what other succulents were available on amazon and I instantly fell in love. This plant comes with a care sheet which is very much appreciated as someone who is new to succulents (and really all plants in general!). Postcard is a really beautiful touch too. I 100% plan on buying from this seller again, might even grab another one of these someday because I really do love it and this first one has already brought me so much joy.

Pictures were taken directly after removing from the package, I don't anticipate it to be too difficult to clean up a bit :)

EDIT 8/25/17: I have uploaded another picture to show the progress she has made! I still wasn't able to completely clean the dirt off, but I think that's okay. Still learning a lot about plants but I hope this is what she is supposed to look like because I think she's beautiful! (Sorry about the lighting but you can definitely see how all the paws have started to spread out nicer)

I'm just wowed with my new succulents . Arrived in great shape not one piece broken off. And very full plants , better than any succulent I saw at the green houses around my home and trust me I went to more than one and looked for myself. Great Job Fat Plants, although I'm in Seattle I'll shop with you .

UPDATE: January 03, 2017.
These are still going strong! I ended up separating the babies and planting them in different containers. I love these little guys because they are very hardy. My advice though is to separate them when they're a little bigger.

-----
Great plant! I wanted a succulent that fills in well, and this one does the job. Packaged with great presentation and many pups. Mine also came with moss in it's packaging, to protect it. I'm not sure if they're always packaged like this, but I really appreciated it! Very happy with this purchase!

We just received this new jade plant yesterday and this morning he looks like he is settling in. He is already working to straighten up and seemed very happy to get his first intake of distilled water. My thanks to Fat Plants for packaging him up so carefully. He looked great on arrival and hopefully is happy with his new home. Time will tell.

4 inch aeonium kiwi succulent plant in pot with soil

The plant arrived quickly and was suberbly packaged. I've seldom seen such care taken with packing. So it arrived in perfect shape. It was bigger and more beautiful that I'd anticipated, too. It looks as though there are two plants growing together so I may try to separate them in two pots when I replant. This is a fantastic deal for not a lot of money.

The plant looks amazing out of the box. I haven't had a chance to replant it and confirm whether or not it has pups (as mentioned in the product description) but this is a pretty large plant. And so velevetty soft. Hopefully it wasn't too traumatized in the shipment, though it doesn't appear to have been. I've ordered other items from Fat Plants San Diego and will probably continue to have them be one of my favorite plant suppliers.

This is a beautiful little plant and I can hardly wait for it to bloom. Hope it is not too long from now. I bought it a few months ago and it now has loads of new little leaves coming. I have not taken it out of the pot it came in but I believe I will within the next few days. Just hope that does not mess it up. I think it should be repotted. I wanted it to get over the trip getting here first. I have never had any succulents before so this is really new to me. In fact I have never had good luck with plants,,,,period,,,,usually they all quiver when I walk into the shop, so this one was at a disadvantage since it did not get to see me in advance. SO hopefully it will continue to thrive and give me some little flowers in the spring.

WOW! You are so fast to ship!! The plant came safely, well packed and bigger than I thought it would be. I was anxious to unpack and I think I might have broken a spike, bummer! But it's very nice and super white just as you said it would be. Love it. You can be sure I will order again in the future! Thanks Fat Plants!!

Love the plant. Was wrapped very well and really appreciated the care instructions. It is happy and loved in my home and red is my favorite color and I even found a perfect pot for it

Frito-Lay Party Mix Variety Pack, 40 Count

Frito-Lay Party Mix Variety Pack, 40 Count

My 12 year old loves these chips, and the price is amazing. I wasn't expecting the packaging (Just 40 bags in the box you open) I thought they may be in something else inside the box. But it's ok because I'm sure they taste just fine.

My spouse and I have ordered this pack a couple of times now, and we have been more than happy with the value/price. The only issue that we've run into is that we recently got an order where more than half of the "Spicy Sweet Chili" bags were super oily and damp for some reason? None of the bags were set to expire anytime soon, so we weren't sure why that was. No other flavors were like this. That being said, this was one batch out of about three purchases at this point. Otherwise, it has been great.

For anyone who might be overseas with APO/ FPO/ DPO: These could be packaged better. All the bags were just thrown in with a lot of space to fly around during transit, but nothing busted from what I can tell.

These snack sizes are decent; nothing stale so far. The expiration dates vary and are only 3-4 weeks away this batch and, for a single person, that alone might not be worth it. Also, each type isn't evenly distributed--mostly got regular hot cheetos and puffs, least of all were funyuns and fries. Oddly, the puffs seem to be spicier than the rest too.

Overall, I would order again as someone living overseas with little to no options and the occasional craving for hot cheetos.

All of my chips were there. The chips were to expire a month or two from when i got them, but i eat them daily with my lunch so, that was not a problem. None of my chips were crushed, I bought 2 this time. I'll order again if they keep the price at $12 by the end of next month.

All the bad reviews I don't know what I was expecting. Each type of Chip has been perfect and fresh. with all the reviews that say that they are expired when they get them or about to expire it says right in the product description that the expiration date will be 3 months from when you purchase it. All around great product, great price, and will purchase again.

    • 40 single serve favorites - Lay's Classic Potato Chips, Crunchy Cheetos, Chili Cheese Fritos, Lay's BBQ Potato Chips, Original Funyuns, Doritos Nacho Cheese, Original Fritos, and Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream Chips
    • With eight different varieties, there's sure to be something everyone will love
    • These much loved treats are fun to enjoy at lunch, as an after-school snack, or party refreshment
    • Our snacks have a short shelf life (60-90 days) so most of our packages only show the month & day of expiration (e.g. "Aug 16" means August 16th, not August 2016). For optimum flavor and freshness, we recommend the snack be consumed by the date on the package

Frito-Lay Party Mix Variety Pack, 40 Count

This Frito-Lay variety pack came in just the right flavors to please my entire family. We all were happy to see this arrive and each grabbed a bag before I could even put them in the chip drawer.

There are 40 bags in this pack that I chose. Inside it was Lay's regular chips, Cheetos crunchy, Chili Cheese Fritos, BBQ Lay's Chips, Funyuns, Doritos, Fritos, and Ranch Wavy Lay's. Even though we all love potato chips, there are still some bags left.

Even though, I bought these as a snack for home, these would be a great option for your lunch box.

The Frito-Lay Doritos & Cheetos Mix Variety Pack provides 40 bags at a reasonably price. As long as you like Nacho Cheese Doritos, Cool Ranch Doritos, Cheetos Puffs and Cheetos Crunchy – you will like this package. However – in my order a couple of the bags were a little stale making me wonder how closely these chips were to the expiration date. Despite that issue, most of the bags were fresh. A qualified recommendation.

The spicy sweet chili and spicy nacho arnt really spicy at all. the dinamita are really spicy and could only handle a few at a time. Overall im happy with the mix. i buy them at local stores and found it to be cheaper here. some of the bags look empty but its just that they are not filled with so much air. i thought they would be stale but i squeezed the bag and it was still closed. they all came fresh with plenty of time before they would expire.

My three favorites are Cheetos, original Lays, and Fritos, so this is a good mix for me. All arrived pretty much intact, not too many crumbs and expiration dates were fine. Packages are a good size for portion control. Will keep ordering

    1. Some bags are close to expiring. I detest stape chips, but they were stale thus far, but I'll update my review if I get a bad bag..
    2. I made sure all the flavors ordered were in there.
    3. Some bags didnt have air. I dont know of that matters, but there were the same amount of chips that one may get from store, so I'm very happy with the order

Bluetooth Headphones, Anbes Wireless Earbuds, IPX7 Waterproof Sports Earphones with Ear Hooks & Mic, HD Stereo in-Ear Headphones Gym Running Workout, 8 Hours Battery Noise Canceling Headsets

Bluetooth Headphones, Anbes Wireless Earbuds, IPX7 Waterproof Sports Earphones with Ear Hooks & Mic, HD Stereo in-Ear Headphones Gym Running Workout, 8 Hours Battery Noise Canceling Headsets

I previously had a pair of Beats X wireless headphones that I bought for $150. Unfortunately after 14 months of use they stopped working. I called Apple to see if they could replace and they told me the warranty was only for a year and they would offer to "fix" it for $80. I was furious considering how much I paid for them! Since I only use these for running I decided I wasn't going to spend more than $50.

I decided to give these earbuds a try and boy I'm glad I did. I was very surprised by the quality of the build. Definitely did not feel like $20 earbuds. I went for a 3 mile run with these to break them in and found two things I especially liked:

    1. The sound quality was on par with my $150 Beats X, can you believe that???
    2. The earbuds were snug in my ear and very comfortable. Not once did I have to adjust while running.

Sure there are more expensive earbuds you can buy but for $20, these are probably the best for the money. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a new set of wireless earphones for when I’m working out at the gym. I came across these and figured I’d give them a shot. They’re AWESOME! I’m really impressed with the quality of the product itself as well as the sound! I love that these come with different sizes for your ears, and the case too. They’re super easy to just throw in my purse or gym bag once I put them in the cute little case. They’re quick to charge as well with an android cable. These are easily comparable to the more popular name brand earphones. I highly recommend this set!

I like these headphones a lot so far. Their range is fair (about the same as other Bluetooth headphones I've had: an expensive over-ear Sony pair and a pair similar to these) the sound is clear when listening to both podcasts and music. They feel sturdier than the last pair I've had that were similar.

They arrived with a little charge so I was able to use them right out of the box. I haven't had them on long enough to test charging time and play time. I'll update when I do.

They are a little smaller than the last pair I had which I really like. I also like that they stay in my ear with the little ear loop but also if I'm just popping them in without putting the loop over my ear.

Power button doubles as pause button (long press vs short press) and volume keys work well and are easy to locate which wasn't true on my last pair.

It's a pretty solid product. Anyways I already have another set in my cart as a Christmas gift. I do wish they came with an all black cord.

Back in the day, headphones were huge, odd things that covered half of your head and weighed about half a pound. Listening was about the only activity possible when wearing them.
Things have come a long way since then. Now headphones are a thing of the past. Earbuds have taken over.
I’ve seen other people wear earbuds for hours, but, personally, I don’t like them. They’re uncomfortable, don’t stay in my ears, and have an annoying sound. If I have to use earbuds to listen to music, I don’t listen at all.
Recently I tried ANBES Sport Wireless Headphones. Okay, technically, they’re not earbuds. They are several steps above. I was amazed the first time I put them in my ears. They actually fit! And, even better, they didn’t hurt my ears. The sound is excellent, too. It’s clear and as good as the speakers on the desktop.
The cord on the headphones is short so that it won’t be in the way when you’re exercising. They also have a switch so that you can pause your music to answer a phone call without interrupting your exercises. Doesn’t that always happen to you? Or is it just me? The phone is silent all day. Then, as soon as I start my exercise routine, the phone rings. Well, now you don’t have to worry about that. You can answer the call and even carry on a conversation without stopping your routine.
These are so comfortable that you can wear them anywhere. The hook will keep them in your ears while you’re running or jogging or even jumping rope. Exercising can be a dreaded thing, but it passes quickly when you listen to your favorite music.
An even better use for these is when listening to a speech or lecture. It’s hard to stay focused sometimes, but the ANBES Sport Wireless Headphones block out other distracting sounds so that you can concentrate on that speech or lecture.
Even if you are not an exercise fanatic, you’ll still enjoy these headphones. You can wear them while cleaning the house, shopping, or even waiting at the dentist’s office.
Anbes Sport Wireless Headphones are a great fit no matter how you use them!

    The Good:
    -Great sound
    -Comfortable
    -Easy pairing
    -Sweat proof
    -Long lasting battery
    -Microphone works pretty well
-Good Bluetooth range (at least 15 feet)
    -Stylish
-Can control volume from ear piece
-Lots of ear piece attachments to provide good fit
    -Great value

    The Bad:
    -None

    The Bottom Line:
I’m actually wearing these headphones right now while I’m writing this review. These are a great value for wireless headphones that you can wear to work out. I’ve gone running and cycling and haven’t had a problem with them falling out. The sound is great and the microphone works pretty well for calls. I’m pretty impressed with the battery life and Bluetooth range. I would definitely recommend these headphones especially for the price.

UPDATE - 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE:
I've tested the earbuds further for comfort and ability to listen at a distance from my phone.

Comfort update: These earbuds are very comfortable unless worn for extended periods, which is usually the problem with all earbuds. I don't think any have been made that avoid this problem yet. (If they have, I haven't found them!) I tried wearing them as a test yesterday while working and listening to music for several hours - after about 3 hours, I'd hit my limit. My ears were becoming painful from the earbuds, but the pain stopped as soon as I removed them. I definitely wouldn't recommend using these for more than an hour or so at a time to avoid this.

    Distance from Device Update:
I tested the earbuds today at the gym to see how far I could get from my phone before they cut out. Roughly measured, I was about 24' from my phone (which was in my locker), wearing the earbuds in the shower this time. If I stood with my right ear towards where my phone was sitting, I didn't experience too many issues - but as soon as I turned away from that area or changed position, the sound started cutting out. Same result in the dressing area where I was slightly closer to the locker, but there were 2 walls between me and the phone. Interesting experiment!
Overall, I think this is a perfectly acceptable distance - most of us are not more than 10' from our phones when using earbuds anyway!

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I researched long and hard before I bought a new pair of wireless earbuds to use when working out at the gym.

Important points for me when purchasing:

-- COMFORT - I have small ears and 99% of the earbuds I've tried either are too large to fit in my ear at all, or they fit, but become painful after wearing only a few minutes.

-- SOUND QUALITY - Many less expensive earbuds have horrible sound quality - you get what you pay for, right?

-- DURABILITY - Need them to be durable enough to tolerate me using them daily for workouts and possibly for focus time when working - to block out distractions

-- PRICE - I'm just not into paying $100 or more for the name brand earbuds, airpods or whatever. I lose them, they break, etc - and I have to pay to replace them again, so while I understand you get what you pay for, there's a line I won't cross price-wise when it comes to earbuds. There's got to be a good middle ground in there somewhere.

These seem to be it, so far!

I've had these for about a week and used them just about every day while working out.

Paring - Pairing was simple - almost stupid simple. I sat in my car outside the gym, popped them in my ears, powered them on, made sure BT connection was open on my phone and pressed/held the button for a few seconds - and instantly heard "connected!" from the earbuds and it showed up as connected on my phone. The whole process took less than 2 minutes, tops. That was nearly a week ago, and I haven't had to re-pair them yet. Whenever I put them on and power them up, as long as BT is open on my phone, the minute I power the earbuds on, they connect instantly.

Comfort - They're comfortable - which is HUGE for me. I'm tired of buying earbuds that I *think* will work for me (because you can't try them on, for obvious reasons), only to find that they don't work due to my small ear size. I want earbuds that I can put on and forget about. These are the ones! I put them on, hook the earpiece over my ear to hold them in place, make a small adjustment to the angle of the earbud piece itself, and I'm off. I never have to touch them again while I'm working out, unless I somehow bump them and knock them loose, but even then, the hooked earpiece holds them in place for the most part.

Charging - Charging is easy - I plug them in every night to my laptop, right in front of my phone so I won't forget to grab them in the a.m. when I grab my phone to head to the gym. This keeps them fully charged all the time so I can just use them without worrying about them going dead. I have yet to test them for a really long period - but for my hour-long workout, they're doing great.

Distance from phone - Not sure what you call this in technical terms, sorry. ;-) For me, this hasn't been an issue. I don't generally have my phone very far from me - it's always in my pants pocket or clipped to my waistband when working out. However, I did test these out in the shower the other day, since they are supposed to be water resistant. I left my phone in my gym bag in the dressing room and wore the earbuds in the shower - a distance of about 10-12'. No issues at all with static or sound breaking up.

Water Resistance / Sweat Resistance - So far, no problem. I'm only just starting my workout & fitness journey, so I'm not a hardcore workout person at this point, but I do get some sweat going. I don't see any issues with the earbuds on that issue so far. I did wear them in the shower as mentioned above, with no problems, but I didn't immerse them in water or have them directly under the showerhead, so I can't speak to how they would do if completely immersed or soaked. But for general use when working out, they seem to function just fine.

Sound Quality - no issues here. I listen to both music and podcasts while working out, in a gym that has music playing all the time, and I find it distracting - with these earbuds in and something playing on my phone, I can completely block out their music. If I focus on it, I find I can still hear it, but not so much that it distracts me.

Price - Can't really beat these for the price! Even if they stop working in a couple of months, which I've seen other reviewers reporting, I won't be too upset about having to buy a new pair. Obviously that's not an ideal situation, having to buy new ones every couple of months, so I hope that doesn't happen - but I'd much rather pay $20 for a new pair of these than $100 for a more expensive brand name pair. For the price point, these are a good deal in my book.

Durability - so far, so good. Again, I've only had them about a week, but so far, no problems. I keep them in the little hardside case that they come with (love that!) and put them in/take them out of that case pretty much every day. So far the case and earbuds are holding up just fine.

If this review changes within the next month or so, I will update accordingly. :-)

I wanted some bluetooth headphones for listening to audiobooks while I walk or work out. I tried the wireless, too clunky, fall out too much. These are perfect. They actually stay in your ear, and they are not uncomfortable. Very much the opposite, you barely even notice you are wearing them after a few minutes.

What You Get - the packaging and what is included is amazing. A great package for gifting. The headphones come in a sleek zippered case, with THREE extra pairs of the rubber tips. (That's SIX extras!!), the USB charging cable, a clip for your cord, and really clear detailed instructions.

Ear Tips - The ear tips fit different sizes - I find that they ALL work just fine, but some are more comfortable than others. I have never heard of different sized ear tips so I thought that was a really cool and unique feature!

Connecting - Using them is SO easy. Press and hold for a few seconds to turn on, and will auto pair with your phone as long as bluetooth is enabled. Select them from your phone and voila! Ready to rock!!

Phone Usage - Easy to use to answer and end calls, rejects calls, redial - lots of great features and options. You can also easily transfer between the headset and your phone. Very clear sound taking calls. Also - noise cancelling!

Audio/Music - The typical play, pause, etc. volume, next/previous song... also easy to use with buttons on the top of the ear piece. Music and audiobooks sound great on these!

Battery - There's a nifty red light AND a voice prompt that lets you know you need to charge - very cool! It will be blue when fully charged. 8 HOURS!! awesome.

Last few notes. Definitely waterproof (yes, I tested it!) but let's not go deep sea diving with them in! Fine for accidental drops in the toilet (lol!) or rainy days. Also note these don't work with Bluetooth TVs. Just your phone or device.
Also, make sure your phone volume is turned up in addition the headphone volume (I learned this the hard way... haha!)

Overall - I'm very happy with these!

I usually don't write many reviews but some products surprise me so much I don't mind doing one then. I have had these wireless earphones for a few days now and have really enjoyed them. The fit comfort is great, after I put them on it is no time before you don't even feel like they are there. Comes with different size caps so you can fit different ear sizes. Appears to be made of good quality materials and the instructions are very simple and very accurate. Battery life is as advertised, I wore them first time out for over 6 hours and they were still working well. Connecting to my phone was as easy as anything else I have paired, no downloading any apps, just pair and off you go. I'm not a jogger but do enjoy wearing earphones to listen to music while I'm working in the yard, fishing, or doing some other chore. I painted a room while wearing these and I can say they are secure. Was fishing yesterday and wore them, it was a bit windy but it didn't effect my music I was listening to. The sound quality is good for earphones, not as good as say Bose but for $20 you can't go wrong.

Bro. I just took a shower last night watching the new Chicago P.D. episode 😀
I washed my hair first then put these on. OMG they really are waterproof & they never came out of my ears. I had Powerbeats 3 and my baby messed them up lol they should be in the trash but these are definitely comparable. Except THESE ARE BETTER and I'm picky as hell 😂 these are LOUDER bass is even better & louder how I expected the Beats to sound. Not to mention they're not even worth it because they cost so damn much. I swear these sound like Kickers the way the bass knocks. I couldn't believe what I paid I'm so happy and the colors are nice too. Just would have been better if they were more of a neon or hot pink instead of a salmon but I'm still satisfied! I didn't like the mic at first because it's located inside the right earphone. I didn't think it was going to work well, but actually, it works very well. Very clear, too clear really lol you will hear EVERY background noise so beware hahah. These are really loud so I have to turn my phone volume down halfway and it's still loud enough to sound like I'm in my own personal theater or music room. I'm in love and will def be buying more as gifts and a back-up. Thanks Anbes! I gave a half rating on durability because I just got them 2 days ago. Also because the ear hooks are very flimsy and they are not readjustible like the hooks on the Powerbeats. BUT they are also very comfortable unlike the Beats. I can't even feel them in my ear after I've put them on and they are very lightweight as well! Overall, AWESOME product, just what I was looking for 💘

Life long audiophile here who has/had many, many different types of earbuds, from the most economical to high end name brand manufacturers. I am fortunate to have a profession, as well as hobbies, that allows me to constantly listen to podcasts, music or audiobooks. After a couple of hours of using these earbuds, I completely forgot I was wearing them. They are that comfortable, even though they have a snug, secure fit. The sound produced is comparable with most high end brands and with all of the features this pair has, I am amazed they are so reasonably priced. I can surely recommend these earbuds to anyone.

A2 LENRUE Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in-Mic,Handsfree Call,AUX Line,TF Card,HD Sound and Bass for iPhone Ipad Android Smartphone and More(Rose Gold)

A2 LENRUE Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in-Mic,Handsfree Call,AUX Line,TF Card,HD Sound and Bass for iPhone Ipad Android Smartphone and More(Rose Gold)

For the cost (about 13), it is a good value. If your ears are sensitive to noise, you will be disappointed. Whenever music is playing from any Bluetooth source, there is a light 'computer digital noise' coming from the speaker. It is not noticeable during normal volumes, but when the music is very quiet, it becomes noticeable. When playing rock or pop, you may never notice it. If playing new age, easy listening, or classical, it may turn you off from this speaker. There seems to be quite a bit of built in bass boost, the speaker will vibrate the table that it is sitting on pretty well, however, not all that energy is translated into good mid-range bass. Otherwise, the sound is decent. All controls are on the underside, but that was not a problem for me. The light while it is operating is OK, but may be bothersome on a bedside table at night.

I did a product demonstration video for this showing the overall functions of the speaker. It has a good weight to it so it doesn't feel cheap or of low quality and it has knocked itself over a couple of times so it does feel sturdy. When I say it knocked itself over a couple times I mean it kind of skidded it itself along the countertop from the bass of some songs until it fell over. I really like using the speaker and it pairs up easily to my devices. The only thing that is a little annoying is sometimes the Bluetooth connection will drop off for a second and the music will get choppy and then speed up really fast like it's trying to catch up with itself. Other than that is a great speaker and I definitely recommend it.

I love this speaker. It is easy to use, the quality is not bad at all, not a single defect that I noticed. The sound quality could be a bit better though, if you are wanting it for loud music this wouldn't be very good. I personally just needed a small speaker to listen to audiobooks when I am working around the house and its perfect. This review is several weeks after purchase, I use it every day and charge it only once a week.

For such a small speaker this baby has a kick!
It gets pretty loud, can fill a room no problem, and evem has some pretty decent bass lows to it.
I like that it was charged and ready to use right out of the box. It’s pretty to look at, sleek and inconspicuous, and was easy to use. The instructions were clear and concise.
I like that an icon on my iphone comes up, when in use, that indicates how much battery Iife the speaker has left. Pleased to have found such a quality speaker for such a great price.

Since I'm working outside all day and I like to have music to keep me going,I decided to get this even though I was very skeptical about it because I didn't know if it would withstand my daily abuse, and I like to test to its limits and beyond everything that I own, pretty much the same as I test myself to my limits and beyond, but that's another story for another day. This little thing didn't disappoint though.Great sound quality and the battery is pretty long lasting too. And even if it's dying on me I can just plug my power bank on it to give it some juice to keep it blasting what my ears love.I even renamed it from "A2" to "Loud Little F****ng Hockey Puck" because of how much I love it.Still good to go after 7 months of daily use and abuse, and covered in stickers and asking for more every day.Highly recommended.I'm Papi Dan and I approve this message

I use this primarily in my small 15 foot boat. I live in south florida. This little speaker puts out big sound for size and price. Even with a 50 HP motor directly behind me I can still hear it over my 4 stroke yamaha engine. On New Years eve we had an outside fire and I used this speaker. Set at 1/2 volume it was plenty loud enough. The sound is crisp and clear at almost all volumes except for full volume. It does get a bit distorted. As far as bass goes it's about what you'd expect for a small speaker. It's not very punchy. My favorite feature is the micro SD card slot. I can load up many of my favorite artists on a 16 GB micro sd card and I don't have to drain my phone using bluetooth. I like to stream Pandora but in the boat there are times I lose the cell signal. The micro SD card solves this issue and actually sounds better than bluetooth. Finally, yesterday after a day on the water i mistakenly left the speaker in my boat while I hosed it down. I absolutely drenched this speaker. It wasn't until this morning that I discovered the still soaking wet speaker in my boat. I shook the water out of it and dried the outside. I then went to work and left it to dry for 6 hours. I didn't turn it on until I got home. I'm pleased to say it still sound great. I would highly recommend this item. If I had killed this item with my "bath" I would have purchased another one.

    Great little speaker!
    Pros:
*I can hear a tiny bit of static electricity noise if I'm playing piano music *very* softly, but at a normal level, you dont hear it at all (and I'm very sensitive to it!).
*It stays connected to my phone even when I'm all the way across the house (we have a long house) or when I run out to the garage. *It is loud enough in the van that the kids can easily listen to The Magic TreeHouse audiobooks.
*I saw one reviewer that said with the audio books it skipped between sentences, but it worked flawlessly for us and the kids have listen to four books on it so far.
*I can't speak to the bass bc the music I listen to doesn't have a lot, but it has really good overall sound.
    *battery is long lived

Potential Cons (not for me but could be for others)
*buttons on the bottom (I actually like not seeing the buttons....)
*Light is bright.....if you want it for at night, it will be bright and would probably blind u when u flipped it over to look at buttons. (I don't, so its fine for me.... I like the light on bc I can tell when it is on or off).

I was stuck and read all Q&A and most customer comments and found a lot of satisfaction, but also a lot of confusion particularly about the instructions. I agree with the negative comments about the instructions. The seller should hire someone who is an English speaker to make an appropriate translation.

My purpose to get this wonderful unit was to use it as a music player, which I finally was able to do. I am very satisfied with it and would like to contribute with a draft of some English instructions for those who may have found this to be a problem. They need to be revised to be more appealing to those who purchase the unit as a speaker for their phones.

    1. ON/OFF --- Used to turn the unit On or Off. Once in operation mode, a Blue light appears at the bottom; if this key is pressed a second time, it turns the light off. If pressed and held, it turns the unit OFF.
    2. FUNCTION --- Press to change the operation from being a speaker, to operating on its own with the TF DS Card as a music player. Press again to turn it into a speaker
    3. LIGHT --- Comes on when the ON/OFF button is pressed for the first time.
    4. PAUSE --- Press to pause and sound stops; press again to get sound back.
    5. CHARGE --- With the Mini USB cable connected to a source, it charges the unit. Initial charge may take 3 or 4 hours. The Red light is on while charging, when it’s fully charged, the Red light disappears. There will be a “Plop” sound when the unit is discharged and needs to be recharged.
    6. Volume "-" --- Press and hold and it will reduce the volume. Press no hold, it goes back to the previous song.
    7. Volume "+" --- Press and hold and it will increase the volume. Press no hold, it jumps to the next song.
    8. Microphone --- For when used as an accessory to the phone.
    9. RESET --- Insert paper clip and tap lightly to bring the unit to its original manufacturer’s set up.
    10. TF SD Card --- A Mini card up to 32 GB can be inserted. It has to be inserted completely. Once inserted and after pressing the 2. FUNCTION key, the unit will start playing the songs contained in the card. The card will have to be loaded separately with the songs, by connecting it to a computer with the Mini USB cable provided.
    11. USB port --- Used to plug one end of the USB cable provided, to a power source for charging the unit.

This little speaker works well for what I use it for. We have an older convertible with no usb or input jacks, so I ordered this to be able to listen to music on my phone. My husband thought I was wasting my money but we’re both pleasantly surprised at the sound it puts out. Depending on use, it stay charged for 3-5 days.

I got the rose gold A2 Lenrue portable bluetooth speaker.
Its looks just like the photo, its small and compact and perfect for my office desk.
So far the sound is great, it connected quickly and easily to my device.
I havent had it long enough to comment on battery life but I can plug it in anytime I need to in my office.
Great buy especially for the price!

Garmin Drive 50 USA LM GPS Navigator System with Lifetime Maps, Spoken Turn-By-Turn Directions, Direct Access, Driver Alerts, and Foursquare Data

Garmin Drive 50 USA LM GPS Navigator System with Lifetime Maps, Spoken Turn-By-Turn Directions, Direct Access, Driver Alerts, and Foursquare Data

My husband suffered a stroke three weeks ago. This forced me to have to drive to strange cities in order to get him to his appointments with various doctors and specialists. I never had a good sense of direction, which is why I never drove much. I always depended on my husband to take me places. When the stroke hit, this forced me to be the driver. This GPS device is a life saver for me. I don't know what I would do without it. Now, if I hear that my husband has to go to such and such a place, I am no longer afraid to drive him because the GPS device will tell me exactly where to go. I was always afraid to drive because of my lousy sense of direction. If there was a detour in the road, I would panic. This device took the fear away from me completely and has liberated me from my self-imposed prison. Not only this, but I am able to get my husband to the places he needs to go. I will never be without this device ever again.

    Garmin Drive 50 USA LM

I bought this GPS unit as a backup for google maps on my Nexus 5 for a cross country trip from IL to CA. Surprisingly by the end of the trip, I found myself using the Garmin about 99% of the time. I am comparing this unit against google maps that I use 99% of the time otherwise.

The reasons I like this better than google maps:

    1. The split screen was really informative - especially with large lane guidance in unfamiliar areas and upcoming stops displayed next to the map without having to navigate away from the live map. This may not be a problem with long stretches of roads but in a city for example, the ability to show important stops like gas, food and rest stops without having to risk going away from the map and losing a turn.

    2. The "Up next" info was probably the most useful feature for me as the three most important things during a long trip Viz. Food, Fuel and rest areas are very conveniently shown next to the map. This allowed me to get fuel at the upcoming gas station if the next one after that (whose distance was also shown as part of what's up next information) was going to be 100 miles away. This saved my from running out of fuel a couple of times in the middle of the AZ/NM/NV area.

    3. The current speed limit was very helpful and I found it was about 100 yards off from the signs posted (i.e. the GPS took about 100 yards to catch up with the posted speed limit signs). This is better than google maps which does not have any such information at all.

    4. Offline navigation! This in itself was the main reason I brought a dedicated GPS unit and I was not disappointed! I shudder to think of not having navigation in the middle of Arizona/Utah because of lack of phone coverage.

After using a dedicated GPS (while coming from a position of skepticism of it's usefulness over google maps), I will say that I probably will be using this GPS for all my long distance driving over using my phone (and leave my phone always connected to the charger). But for inner city navigation, I still prefer google maps/waze for almost instantaneous traffic based navigation.

This so far has been a pretty nice gps. I’ve owned several (and still have two) Garmin GPS units and have always been happy with their products. Only difference I notice between this Drive model and an older Nuvi is the sharpness and color saturation. This newer Drives colors seem to be (at least to my eye) a little more muted than the older Nuvi. Also the gps body seems to be made of a thinner/cheaper plastic. Other than that seems to be a capable unit. Updated easily, picked up the satellite fairly quickly. Recommend fully charging before doing the update. Mine came with a pretty much uncharged battery. I tried updating before the unit was fully charged and it kept dying during the process. After letting it charge for an hour or so things went great.

Absolutely the best refurbished product I have bought on Amazon. I cannot say enough about how easy it is to use, many new features than my previous Garmin. Highly recommend. It was a steal for $46.

I got the Garmin 010-N1532-0C Drive 50LM 50 GPS Navigator, 5", (Certified Refurbished) and it works great! At first I couldn't download the software or update maps... that's because the battery wasn't charged first. You will see the screen light up with a red battery bar.... then a green battery bar... and that's still not charged... wait until the screen lights up and then you are good to go!

I generally purchase refurbished electronics as they are considerably cheaper than new and rarely show signs of wear. I have owned Magellan's, Tom Toms, and generally use Google Maps on my cell. The problem with using a cell phone for a GPS is that it only works when you are within range of a cell tower. This little Jewel quickly locks into several satellites and always gives me accurate directions to my destination. With a fast processor and excellent voice directions, I highly recommend the Garmin Drive 50LM!

Perfect. Lots of features... accurate for finding upcoming restaurants, gas stations and community services. We drive cross country every summer and updated our older GPS to this. Worked through all states, even in low-service areas through the desert. I like being able to search ahead for hotels and restaurants. The battery lasted a long time and there wasn't a lot of screen glare. We also purchased the weighted holder which we really liked.

I took a chance on this unit because it was refurbished. So far, I'm glad I did. It does everything that my older GPS used to do, but at a third of the price. I really like the mounting system but I don't like the power cord. The power cord is permanently attached to the cigarette lighter plug and the end plug appears to be the type used on numerous Android type cell phones, but it is proprietary. I can live with that, but it would have been nice if they would have used a USB instead of a permanently wired cigarette plug. With so many new cars having USB power sockets that would just make sense in my opinion. Still, the unit works great and does exactly what I need it to do, and at a price point that if it is stolen I won't be out a lot of money.

Bought a refurb for ~$55. Arrived like new.
Updated maps and at 70% volume I hear it over my speakers blasting music.
At 40% volume I hear it on the highway with windows down.
At 20/30% I hear it loud and clear.
Never get lost again, buy one and only look back in the rear-view mirror :)

Used it one time so far on a 3.5 hour trip to Orlando, Florida. The screen is a good size to see where you need to go without being too distracted of where you're driving. Was accurate with the speed limits and tolls no matter where we went. I bought this one because of the lifetime maps feature. In Florida the growth is always changing the roadways so it is comforting to know how to get somewhere even if the last time I went was three-four years ago. Was also pretty good at showing local amenities based on my location. Helpful when you're in a place like Orlando. The only thing I found annoying was the GPS seemed pretty stubborn on the different routes it calculated. I specifically wanted to limit my time on I4 & I75 and it took some extra effort to customize the route I wanted. Otherwise I still really glad I have this GPS when I go on road trips.
