Perfect blend of vanilla cookie crunch and soft lemony center. They do remind me of lemon cookies I had a kid, same as with many other reviewers. To be honest, I was 'Never' and oreo cookie fan. The horrendous chocolate thing they made into a cookie, turned my taste buds inside out and it always boggled my mind why people like that burnt char flavor the originals have.
Then oreo came out with vanilla and now these, tempting me into becoming an oreo cookie fan. Which I now am. But the originals are still horrifyingly bad, unless you like burnt dark chocolate.
These Lemon Oreo's have a slight tart sweetness that goes hand in hand with the vanilla. Hope oreo keeps making them and expands their line even further.
I tried these on a whim. They were more delicious than expected and vanished in just a couple of days. Too good that they are dangerous because my husband and I devoured the entire box by ourselves. I'm afraid to keep them in the house and only by them when we want to splurge! They have the OREO texture, and the vanilla wafer has a light flavor that balances the lemon creme perfectly. I probably won't eat normal OREOs again.
We have always loved Oreo chocolate cookies so when I found these of course I had to try them, Wow am I glad I did because they are delicious to say the least! I opened them and ate two and before the end of the day my husband had eaten the rest of the bag! Im glad he is thin, and can eat that many, because I know he definately wants me to buy him some more of them, but this time I will have to hide the package and ration out to him! lol i promise you will like these cookies they have just a light mild taste of lemon and the delicious cookie outside is yummy too.
So tickled to have found these, and apparently so were many others, because I went to reorder and they are out of stock. *sigh*
Guess that should tell you just how good these were; nice cold glass of milk and a handful of these lemony cookies and I was in heaven. Come on now; where's our cookies?? this was my guilty pleasure!!
All my life I have hated chocolate Oreos. I was delighted to see that these were available at Amazon and fell head over heels in love at first bite. The lemon cookies are everything the chocolate are not, but before I get hate mail, it is just a matter of taste. So just eat your chocolate Oreos - that leaves more of the lemon for me. I buy three packs at a time; don't want to run out.

I love lemon snacks and though I prefer cake and ice cream these cookies are terrific as a quick snack. Oreo has out done themselves with this cookie made for those like me who like a little tart with there sweet and these cookies are a perfect blend in my opinion. I have been ordering these lemon creme Oreos from Amazon for over a year now. I got hooked after trying them at a family picnic. The lemon creme is sweet with just the right touch of tart - a great flavor between vanilla cookies. The lemon Oreos are sometimes difficult to find locally and so far the Amazon price is comparable to grocery stores that do carry them. I have been a life long chocoholic but the lemon Oreos have become my newest addiction. Carr's makes a ginger lemon sandwich cookie that is triple the price but does not compare in flavor to the Oreos. If you haven't already tried them, Lemon Oreos are tasty and a nice change from chocolate.
These are surprisingly good. The lemon flavor isn't overpowering. The combo of the lemon filling and the vanilla cookie is perfect. Might just have to hide these from the family :)
Lemon oreos are my favorite! These taste nothing at all like any of the traditional oreo flavors that have some form of chocolate, they are much sweeter. If you like lemon flavored candies, cake, or such these will be a great sweet treat.

I'm not a fan of Oreo cookies in general, so I was a little dubious about a lemon Oreo. But I was so wrong. I love all things lemon and these are a real treat for me. The thick layer of lemony cream filling is a nice contrast to the crisp cookies. I hope Nabisco keeps these around.
