We bought a set of these to add to the back of our boat. The other speakers we have are in the boat and to hear them when you're in the water you have to blare them. That's okay but if you're in the boat you can't talk to someone in the water and vice versa. We added these little babies and that's no longer a problem. Plus it's nice when other boats around are blaring music we don't want our little one hearing.
The speakers are pretty good. The look really nice and have good sound to them. The only knock on them is that they do distort with higher volume where the speakers in the boat do not. They're a little smaller though and we don't turn them up like that normally but that's why I gave them four stars instead of five. I was a little concerned when I first ran the wiring and hooked them up to test them. They didn't sound like they had any bass at all but now that they're mounted in the boat, they sound much richer.
To mount them, I cut two holes using a 4.25" hole saw. You'd probably be safe using a 4.5" but since I was cutting two big holes in our boat, I thought I'd play it safe and go with the smaller saw. I did have to do some filing to get them seated in there properly but it wasn't a big deal. Then of course I drilled pilot holes for the mounting screws. A little marine sealant around the outer edge and there you have it.
We've been out a few times with them now and we love them. It's so much nicer having those speakers on the back. They are exposed to the elements while it's in storage and of course they get water on them at the lake, but we haven't had any issues there either. The way we look at it, even if they only last a year or two the cost is low enough we could buy new ones and not sweat it. I don't think that'll be a problem though.

these little speakers deliver crisp sound with lots of bass. They are mounted under the seat in my pontoon boat.
These are great speakers for the price, they fit excellent in my boat I used a 4.5in hole saw to cut the mounting holes which worked perfectly the grill on the speaker is not removable which isn't a bad thing but it would be nice if it popped off like the grill on the matching subwoofer does so that you could hide the mounting screws. Overall the speakers sound great powered by an aftermarket head unit they are no JL Audio speakers but for about $15 for the pair you really can't go wrong with them
Work so much better than the original Jensens on my Edge trailer. The Jensen's didn't last 2 seasons and sounded terrible as high volumes, they were also not weather proof as it turned out.
After one full season and a winter the Pyles's are still as good as new. They were easy to fit with no adjustments to the original openings.

I was seriously going to buy more expensive speakers but for the money, I felt it was worth a try. These work great and I'm holding off on the expensive ones for now. We will see how long they last.

Mounted these in my boat which obviously takes a beating with the sun, water, and rain when its parked. These sound great and look forward to seeing how long they last. So far a season outdoors and they are standing up just fine. Definitely much better than stock.
Great sound for the price. I needed 5.25" marine speakers in white. I was willing to pay 3x as much for something nicer, but could not find another option. I settled for these. They look cheap, but they do sound very good considering the price.
Good clear audio. Went ahead and purchased a new radio to match but have not installed the radio. Waterproof and much better sound handling than the original stock speakers that have blown twice. Installed on a pontoon boat.
They are GREAT!
