I was told that there would be enough chocolate for an entire party, but shortly after receiving it I consumed the entire bag.
5/5 would eat again.
Got these to fill favor boxes at my daughter's wedding this month. I ordered two bags and that was enough to put 10 kisses in each of our 50 little boxes. Unlike almonds and most other candy used at weddings, there is little chance of allergic reactions or that people won"t like them. Who doesn't like kisses! Perfect wedding candy for sure.
You should send these to someone today, and don't forget to order some for yourself!
If you have never had these before, you will need the following information to consume them.
* These come in a plastic bag.
* There are many in a bag
* They are individually wrapped in foil and have a small slip of paper that protrudes from the tip
* The paper is fragile, but very important for the opening procedure.
* They are shaped like a drop, like a rounded pyramid.
In order to eat them, follow this procedure
* The kiss has a base and a tip
* The base is round and wider
* The tip is pointed
* Grasp the base of the kiss between your thumb and first finger firmly
* Gently grasp the slip of paper using the thumb and first finger of your other hand
* The paper is fragile and will tear, so carefully pull the slip of paper away from the tip and towards the base as if you are peeling a banana.
* Once you have pulled the paper away and exposed the chocolate, you will have to release the paper
* Maintain your grasp on the base, with your other hand use your thumb and forefinger to grasp the open end of the foil and peel that away similar to the procedure that you followed with the paper
* At this point the foil should be surrounding the base with the tip exposed and you can release your grasp on the foil
* Maintain your grasp on the base, and take hold of the tip with your other hand.
* Release your grip on the base and move it to grasping the remaining foil
* Pull the foil away exposing the kiss
* Put the kiss into your mouth and consume. Chewing or sucking are both reasonable ways to consume.
I was amazed at the packaging. The box bottom and sides were covered with insulation and the candy was packed with ice packs. I also bought Hershey's Kisses and both were sent for the low S&H cost of $1.99.
Arrived in July heat in excellent condition.
I could live on these. Literally - I could survive without wanting anything else. Not the healthiest lifestyle choice, but if I were forced to pick one product to live on for the rest of my life, it would be Hershey's Kisses.
As for the ACTUAL review - the 40 oz size is so much more convenient than buying a few bags at the grocery store - and it's definitely cheaper. This is the second time I've ordered, and I don't think there ever WILL be a last time!! Fresh both times - haven't been disappointed yet. If I ever am, I'll update this.

Description
Buying candy in bulk for the office just got sweeter, with this crowd-pleasing classic. KISSES Milk Chocolate is the perfect candy for savoring at your desk, or sharing in the office break room.
Purchased for a birthday surprise. I was worried that they may melt while they were sitting on my door step on the warmer days of late spring. I opened the package and found them to have cool packs and foam padding to keep them cool and intact. I was so happy that I wouldn't be gifting a blob of foil infested chocolate. Very pleased with the extra detail to packaging for this purchase.
So, true milk chocolate at 22-cents per ounce, add $2 shipping= 27.5-cents per ounce. This is less expensive than supermarkets, even during most of their sales in 2016 (~32-cents per ounce recently). [Less, right after 3 holidays each year, but those prices vary!] These chocolates, I enjoyed, but I ate too much! Of course, you can recycle the aluminum wraps by putting them into aluminum soda cans before you recycle those....
...These arrived quickly, as promised; and despite an abnormally warm September here, and a no-longer-cold pack, they were in pristine shape! Recommended. [Now, if I just could "eat only one"....]
Hershey Kisses are the perfect dessert or snack treat. They are individually wrapped which requires a tiny effort to unwrap them. This is great because you have to think a moment: should I keep going? Alas, most of us do keep going until there are few, if any, left. But, they also have health benefits as research has shown. Chocolate has some good effects and I take it for that reason only(sure, sure...) Enjoy the bag or better yet, enjoy a few and stick to that diet...
Same price or lower than local grocery store but delivered to my door and paid for with Amazon Visa dollars. Freshness date is a year in the future. they will be long gone by then. I keep kisses handy for guests and try to keep my own hands off of them. Have had a life long love affair with Hershey's Kisses.
What can I say, I got a craving, and these were really good!
I put them into a bowl (like grandma used to do), and set the bowl onto a table in the living room. Due to some abnormally hot weather here in L.A., when I went to eat one, I discovered that it had the consistency of jello! The heat had literally melted them until they were too soft to peel.
So I threw them into the fridge for a couple of hours. Thankfully, this restored them to the correct firmness, you'd never even know that they had melted before.
I'm not much of an eater of sweets, but like I said, I got a craving. These satisfied that craving perfectly.
