This is a pretty solid voice recorder for the price. It's made of actual metal and feels really sturdy when you're holding it. It also picks up sound really well and the sound quality is pretty good when playing back my own voice notes. I also tried it in a big boxy room with a person speaking in front, and it picked them up pretty well, but there was a lot of echo from the room. But that's expected since the space was so big and square, I was just happy that I could still hear the presenter well from a few rows back. The on/off switch is actually a switch and not just a button, which I think is really great so you don't accidentally turn it off. It seems to have really great battery life as well - I recorded an hour without the battery gauge dropping at all. The screen on it is helpful for know which settings you're using, and the manual it comes with helps explain the basic usage pretty well. The only thing that took getting used to is that the up and down on the volume are reversed from what you'd think, but it just takes a second to adjust to that. It also comes with an 18-month service warranty, so I'm guessing if you have any issues within the first year and a half, you can at least get it repaired from the company, so that's a nice assurance. Based on the build quality, though, you probably won't need that since it feels like you could drop this on concrete without breaking it. I also like that it comes with 8GB of built in memory so you can record plenty of data without having to buy an extra card for it. Overall I'm pretty impressed with this little recorder. It's super compact, sturdy, records well, has lots of battery power, and if you set your settings to record at lower quality you don't notice much difference and it can record for a looooong time.
I was using an app on my Android phone to make voice recording prior to purchasing this, and I must say that this works so much better. Having a dedicated device to record and play back meeting recordings, class notes and other reminders is really handy. The user interface is simple, but like others have said it is much easier to manage files when connected to a PC. This unit is solidly built, has excellent battery life and way more storage than I will ever need. Great value as well!
First of all I was impressed by the feel of this recorder, it doesn't feel cheap like previous ones I have had. the sound quality is excellent and playback sounds crisp and clear. The recorder picks up sound well even from far away. Battery life is also good compared to others I have used. its stylish look is also a plus, it is relatively small and can fit in small places like a small pocket. The digital screen is easy to see and functions well. Overall th is a great little recorder with good performance and quality.
Great microphone, crisp sound within 10 feet easily. Does fine in pocket, minimal fabric sounds. Playback audio is loud and clear, nothing amazing, but very adequate for quick playback. UI is fine for browsing recordings, but for anything heavy duty I connect to the PC. I especially struggled with deleting recordings, it's not the easiest button combination, so imo you're better off doing any actual management on the PC. But start/stop and replay last recording are easy to get to and quite intuitive, and that's all I really needed on-device. On PC, the recorded audio sounds very high quality.
Haven't tried to expand the memory but 8GB is a loooot of audio. Material wise this thing is great, nice heavy metal with a solid feel. Overall this is an excellent recorder with a lot of extra features for the price.

This little thing packs a lot of power. I was looking for something I can use in class to tape my professors lecture so I can replay later. This did the job. Very easy to use. I love how tiny it is.
