[2 Pack]Ainope iPad 9.7 6th Generation Screen Protector,[Easy Install Frame]Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPad Pro 9.7/iPad 5/iPad Air 2 -Apple Pencil Compatible/High Definition/Anti-scratch

I have tried several hardened glass screen protectors; this is the first that has ever installed flawlessly the first time. I have found it nearly impossible to both align and apply a glass cover without using a frame; it either doesn't align correctly or dust gets trapped. With the frame that comes with this unit, installation was accomplished with excellent results.

Some say the frame is hard to remove after the glass is installed. My guess is they either accidentally installed the frame upside down (I wouldn't know how; it snaps right onto the tablet) or they misaligned the glass during installation and the frame caught on it while trying to remove. Following are precise steps for a good installation:

First: This is a process in which going to extremes pays off (if you want a perfect installation). Make absolutely sure the environment is as dust-free as possible. I installed mine in my car, which is far more dust-free than my home. An alternative is to run the shower in your bathroom for a few minutes to clear the dust out of the air, then turn it off and install it in there. Very few homes have a dust-free environment-- and any dust will be a problem. Make sure your installation environment has all dust eliminated. (Again, the bathroom is probably your best choice.)

Second: snap the included alignment frame on your iPad (the "deep" side faces the tablet and SNAPS on). Then follow the directions step by step:
1. Wear a sleeveless shirt. (Sleeves collect dust.)
2. Wash your hands and dry with a lint-free towel (most paper towels will suffice). Do this in an area other than where you are installing the glass, such as the kitchen.
3. Go to the installation area, use the included wet wipe to VERY thoroughly clean the iPad surface.
4. Use the drying pad to remove the cleaning residue. Make sure the surface is completely dry and totally clear of streaks and dust.
5. Despite appearances, use the adhesive patches included to remove all final traces of dust. No matter how clean that surface looks, there *will* be microscopic dust traces. so go over the entire surface with the adhesive patch.
6. This is the important part: Very carefully remove the clear protective cover off one side of the glass protector. This is the adhesive side that will face the tablet. Resting the LONG side of the glass along the alignment frame (with the hole on the HOME button side), make sure the top and bottom of the glass align with the edges of the frame and carefully lay the glass down on the surface so that it fits entirely within the frame.
7. You will notice the glass starting to adhere to the tablet. Carefully remove the frame and set it to the side. As the glass adheres most likely bubbles will form. As that happens, VERY carefully lift the edge of the glass so that the bubble hits air and then with your fingers smooth the glass down onto the surface. You may have to do this with several bubbles.

If you do this carefully and correctly, you will likely wind up with a perfect installation (or nearly so). The frame takes the hassle out of alignment, allowing you to concentrate on avoiding dust particles (the worst problem) and removing bubbles (which can attract stray dust particles, so do so slowly and carefully).

When I followed this process (some of which I learned based on failures with prior products), I achieved a perfect installation with no bubbles, no dust, and excellently aligned... leaving the second piece of glass for future need.

Please note that *you cannot be too careful* in the installation process. The frame greatly simplifies the alignment, but your worst enemy in this is dust particles. So I recommend going out of your way to eliminate dust as much as possible prior to installation. "Vacuuming" the air will *not* work as the vacuum itself will produce dust (no matter how "dust free" it claims to be). Room "dust removers" are better than nothing, but there are always random dust particles in the air. This is why I recommend running the shower in the bathroom to clean all dust particles out of the air and wash them down the drain. Even then you'll find some remains, so be very dust-conscious in this process.

The frame does the trick. It functions as it's supposed to, applies easily, allows alignment of glass (if you're careful), and removes easily. I had no problem with the frame at all. As the advertisement states, the glass functions well. Ignore the "anti fingerprint" hype; no screen protector is anti-fingerprint. It will seem that way at first, but that "feature" will give out by the end of the first day.

The key to avoiding fingerprints is to use a quality no-friction stylus. One can also buy screen cleaners that are fingerprint-resistant (meaning they put a coating on the screen that makes fingerprints far easier to wipe off). RainX windshield cleaner works, and so does silicone spray. There are specialty cleaners as well. But if you really want to avoid fingerprints, use a low-friction stylus.

Overall, an excellent product in every way... and there are few of those these days.

I had been using cases for my iPad Air 2 that come with a plastic screen protector. But I frankly got tired of seeing the scratched plastic...besides the fact that the “rugged” cases really aren’t that durable after all. I have had two of those cases crack within the past year. I was a bit nervous using the glass protector as I HATE getting bits of dust under screen protectors. The teeny tiny bits of dust bug my OCD. I also hate getting screen protectors lopsided. These screen protectors are great. First off, my 10 year old fumbled my iPad onto a hardwood floor from 3 feet up and the screen protector cracked in half—but the screen of my iPad was a-okay. Whew.

To put on the protector you wipe the screen with the included wet wipe then you are supposed to use the included microfiber cloth. I used that the first time and that seemed to add extra bits of dust and lint. Instead, this time I used a slightly larger glasses cloth which worked like a charm. There were a few teeny bits of dust that I then used the included sticker to get the remaining specks. The frame is AWESOME it allows you to get the protector exactly where you need it and it won’t be lopsided at all! If you do get a tiny bit of dust under the protector, don’t worry....use the edge of your fingernail to carefully lift the glass & use the sticker to remove the dust then lay the protector back down. I’m going to purchase another two pack just to have, in case of another drop.

I had some issues with using the frame. It was a bit warped and ended up pulling the screen protector up. I ended up wasting a screen protector as a result. The other one I put on manually and it was pretty easy to line up (I should have just done that from the start). I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement within a few days- that's how you do customer service! It was sized perfect, and the second one went on without a hitch. No bubbles or anything.

This has been one of my favorite screen protectors so far, I've never seen them come with an installation frame so made it pretty easy and effortless to install. Since it glass I forget it's even on there, and been doing great so far for the last month or so; and now I have a spare when I need to change or can give to a friend (for $12 i t's an excellent price so I can't complain!). If I change my iPad, I'll get this brand again for sure.

This was the best screen application I have ever had. It always seemed like I would get air bubbles or issues from having to readjust the screen. The applicator thing really helped as a guide and easily came off. The applicator is not something that fits snug but it creates a border to get the protector lined up correctly. I watched the video before I bought it and mine went smoothly. I have no problem with touch or glare.

New iPad 9.7" (2018 & 2017)/iPad Pro 9.7/iPad Air 2/iPad Air Screen Protector, Tempered Glass Screen Protector - Apple Pencil Compatible/High Definition/Scratch Resistant,iPad 9.7 Screen Protector Tempered Glass for Apple iPad 9.7" (2018, 2017)/iPad Pro 9.7 Inch/iPad Air/iPad Air 2, New iPad 5th, 6th Gen, Apple Pencil Compatible

I was skeptical about this product and worried if the Apple Pencil will be affected negatively. When I received it, I was very pleased. It had everything you need to make the installation perfect and bubble free. This is a great product. Also, I liked how the product makers were interested on how I liked their product.

Good thing they gave me two because I screwed up the first installation. It’s not as easy as they portray to get it just right. The frame definitely helps but the cleaning cloths left some sort of residue that prevented it from being bubble/ dust free. The second try was more successful using eye glass lens cleaners.

I love this product. I ordered a glass protectiveproduct from another company for my cell phone over a year ago and disliked it so much, I took it off and threw it out. However, this one for my iPad is easy to put on and it is very sensitive to touches with typing and choosing items in an app. I would definitely recommend and purchase again when necessary.

With patience and ensuring your IPad is dust free, the protective screen installation is quite easy. It comes with a frame that fits over your Ipad as a means of aligning the protector before it's in place. Once placed on the Ipad,, the air bubbles are very easy to remove. The protector in no way interferes with tactile contact nor use of the camera.

Bought this specifically for the template. Pretty sure most of these glasses are the same manf quality wise. The template was a little flimsy, but it helped me quickly line up the protectoe regardless. It doesn't have a hole for the front camera while others do though I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
