We used the ice, rock salt and the wood bucket with the crank. This method took hours to make the ice cream but it was worth the wait. This mix comes close to the original homemade cream. I was so impressed I recently ordered my second box and will be making my second batch over the weekend. I even froze the leftover and it retained its soft-serve consistency which I was was not expecting. This was well worth the money and I will be a frequent buyer.
I have no idea how Triple Scoop manages to imbue their ice cream mixes with such genuine & natural flavors, but imbue them they do. Light, creamy (as are all Triple Scoop's mixes), flavorful, & delicious, their vanilla is perfect for enlivening a bland dessert, or for serving on its own with a topping of home-made jam. When making this ice cream, I've sometimes mixed-in a little melted chocolate, small pieces of fresh fruit, or a few drops of almond extract, all with delicious results.
This makes a delicious vanilla ice cream! The vanilla flavor is amazing. What is so great about this product is that not only is it easy to make, but with the vanilla you can add in your own touches and create your own flavors. My husband loves to cook and has been making his own ice cream for years. With this product he has been having fun creating his own gourmet flavors like adding a ribbon of salted caramel, or adding a balsamic reduction with strawberries, or one time he infused earl grey tea in it. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Used this the first time we used the ice cream maker. It was really good but seemed to cpensive. Didn’t use it the second time Discovered it isn’t that expensive after all. True taste without all the eggs and stuff. Will buy it again.
Buying this mix is the best way to make ice cream. It is so easy and is very delicious. It comes with two pouches, I decided to make the first one and serve it with brownies and toppings and everyone loved the ice cream. it is rich and creamy and very tasty. I highly recommend this product and will try the other flavors they have available.

Delicious ice cream mix, it is easy to make and tastes great with a rich vanilla flavor. The vanilla ice cream taste is delicious and is also a great base if you want to experiment making your own creations. I added chopped up peanut butter cups and my whole family loved it. This product is amazingly delicious. I use organic ingredients. All you need is whole milk, half-and-half, and heavy whipping cream. If you can’t use milk substitute it. I would give it a 10/10. The taste is better than blue Bell. I just got my ice cream machine and I’m already on my fourth box of this ice cream. The cool thing about it is. I can make whatever type of candy mixture I want that mainstream companies don’t have. (Look at photo.)

I was expecting a good but very average packaged product. Was I wrong! This vanilla was wonderfully rich and a perfect recipe for anyone's first time DIY ice cream maker experience. If anything, it sets future expectations sky high. Don't expect your own recipes to be this good.
