The case is as advertised. Has magnetic cover to support the auto wake/sleep function of the iPad. Purchased this case for my iPad mini 3 and it fit just fine. Easily snapped on and is protecting my iPad. The only thing I didn't like was the cover of the case... it's not perfectly cut right. When closing the cover, it's not perfectly aligned. Call it nitpicking, but I pay attention to small details like this. I've uploaded some close ups of the front cover as it's hard to explain. Doesn't bother me significantly, but I did knock off 1 star from my review because of it. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with the case.

First thing is I received the case super quick! Ordered on a Saturday and received on Monday.. just used the 'basic shipping' so I was pleasantly surprised. Originally it said December 6th which would've been roughly 7 days via USPS. So that's one positive.
Secondly and more importantly to you guys who are concerned about the 'quality' of this cheap ass case🙄
Once again I'm pleasantly surprised, especially after reading quite a few negative reviews.
I have an iPad Mini 2 w/ Retina Display. It took literally 5 seconds to be "up and running". I popped it into the case and heard a nice reassuring snap or click if you like. Fit like a glove. Pretty relieved too since many of the bad reviews said this case would not fit the iPad Mini 2.. I'm comfortable to report that it fit perfectly.
The magnetic open / close feature works just fine. Sleeps when you close and turns right on when you open. If you use a password to unlock you may want to extend the time for it to lockout. I changed mine to 15 minutes which works in my situation but if course do what you have to do..
The 'stand feature' works as well. Had zero problems even when I placed it on a couch cushion.
There were some complaints regarding the top 'overlapping' which is true but it's so minimal, even for someone as picky as I am. Definitely NOT a deal breaker.
The case feels great in my hands. Nice smooth texture with enough grip for most people though this might differ depending on your expectations.
It's $10 friggin bucks too so there's that😎
I'm really happy with this purchase. I'm truly being as honest as I can here. I am super picky about my gadgets and I want them to look new forever. Yeah, I paid a lot more for the authentic Apple version of this case---one time. When the kids started asking for "more colors!" for their iPad Minis, I got several of these instead of shelling out the big bucks. This model fit both the original iPad Mini and an iPad Mini 2, no problems. The front flap auto-standby works perfectly, as does the foldable stand. The back cover adds no bulk and is lightweight too. Good value!
I have no idea why it is having this effect on me, but I am kind of euphoric about this case.
I had a $40 split buffalo case that I liked a lot, but after opening and closing my iPad mini probably 10,000 times (literally, 10x/day, 365 days/yr, 3 years) or possibly more, that case started coming apart in layers.
I chose this one based on so many 5 star reviews, plus the reasonable price. Didn't have to think too hard, or keep researching.
I got the green. Like it.
It fits my 1st gen iPad mini just fine. Sleek, protective, magnetic cover works as well as the $40 Apple product, and it includes the back protector!
The case arrived with a card stating 6 month warranty.
I love the case and would highly recommend it to anyone.
UPDATE, May 1, 2017: I still like this case a lot. It feels like part of the iPad, it is so sleek, works so well, and in a good way you don't notice it. My lime green case started to get dirty almost immediately, so I am back and will probably get the black. Sad because the colors are great and at least give the iPad a bit of personality. But my dirty green cover is embarrassing. Still, these are an incredible bargain.
Many times individuals believe to be expensive something is of good quality. Other times people will say 'you get what you pay for.' My review isn't about cost so much as it is reasonable expectations. This is a simple case… it mostly works as a screen cover and to prevent scratches and possibly to prevent single hand slippage.
The case as pictured (like many) allows the iPad mini to 'stand' like a book stand. So far I have not been overly impressed, but with intentional effort the stand has mostly worked (sometimes it slips and the iPad falls to the surface it is sitting on (about 5 inches).
This case is NOT a case designed NOR advertised for rugged protective care.
The case does not come with a glass or plastic screen cover (so the case is extremely unlikely to protect the iPad from a waist high drop.)
The case is (in my opinion) plastic material… and the case itself is likely to crack if the iPad is dropped (and the iPad is likely to be damaged).
AGAIN, as a simple case it meets my needs. You should not be expecting this case will allow you to be carefree in handling your iPad.
I anticipate with daily use that this case (cover) will wear out in a year (that would be in my estimate a reasonable life span for what I see and have experienced).
IF YOU ARE LOOKING for PEACE of MIND this is not the case you want.

Finally, the case I have been looking for! The color is vibrant purple, just as pictured and the fit is great. I really like that the cover and back case are connected. Coverage is excellent, corners and sides protected and all ports/camera opening, etc. line up perfectly. The back cover is a substantially constructed rubberized, non-slip material that offers a good gripping surface; the front cover is lined with soft gray material that pads the screen well. Magnetic closure works well, putting the iPad mini to sleep when closed and waking it instantly upon opening. I don't really use the feature for folding back the cover to allow iPad mini to stand up with horizontal orientation, but the few times I've tried it works just fine. I look forward to a long, happy relationships with the new JTech iPad Mini cover :)
In all, I'm pretty happy with this case. It fits the iPad Mini 3 well and the feel of the case is just what I was looking for. I needed to buy a replacement after my previous case finally gave out from years of use. The overall finish gives it a nice tactile feel with just enough grip. It adds just enough overall size to the iPad to make it easy to hold without adding extra bulk.
There are only two issues, which are minor but worth noting:
- The cover doesn't line up well with the shell (picture attached). It doesn't seem to cause an issue, but I'm surprised given how well the rest of the case is cut precisely to fit the iPad. I carry the iPad in my backpack, so hopefully it keeps the screen locked and doesn't open up while walking around.
- It would be nice if the shell could accommodate the Apple smart cover as a replacement for the built-in cover. I've had this feature on other cases and it is great if the cover starts to tear or wear out. Maybe I'll be surprised and this case will hold up so well I never need it.
Again, this is a great case for the money. I haven't stress tested it yet, but it sure seems like it will hold up to a bump or two.

I bought this product for my iPad Mini 2 (MF074LL/A) 16GB Retina Display. It fits the device perfectly and keeps it protected while also working as a stand for watching videos on it. The cover closes magnetically and automatically locks the device when closed. It's sized perfectly and all ports and switches line up so that they're perfectly accessible. I like the way the case has a cut out around the Lightning Port instead of covering the area and having a hole cut out for the port. The reason I prefer this method is because some cases that cover the area create too much thickness which can prevent you from using devices that plug into the Lightning Port like a USB drive or some types of cables/chargers. This case allows easy access to all ports while still keeping the device protected and allowing use for watching video.
Overall, it's a great product and I'm quite happy with it.
I have an iPad Mini 2. It’s old technology. It was already dated technology when I bought it on a Black Friday sale. But I’m not planning on upgrading anytime soon because in all honesty, it’s a portable TV device when my other portable TV device (my laptop) is inconvienent.
It’s surprisingly hard to iPad Mini 2 cases these days. But my old one totally cracked off into a million pieces so I needed a new one.
This one feels like my previous case. It does the folding stand thing and the back case protects the back of the iPad. Overall it seems like it’s nice quality. Not sure how durable it is but it feels like it will handle a few years of me using it, losing it my apartment, and then finding it under a stack of books. If you’re looking for something more protective, this isn’t the case for you. But if you’re looking for a basic case to protect your iPad, this will work.
