These are awesome. It is the first time I have ever consumed Chia seeds, and I don't see myself ever stopping.
Apparently they are very healthy with lots of fiber and omega-3. I put about 1 tablespoon in a glass of water and stir it and let it sit for ~10 minutes. After soaking a gel membrane surrounds each seed and you can drink them with the water and chew on them.
They remind me a little of 'bubble tea' if you have ever had that with tapioca balls. Of course these are much smaller but the sensation is similar. I am glad these things are healthy as they are quite addictive. I have also made some coconut milk pudding with these and that was quite tasty as well. (just mix coconut milk with a few tablespoons of tapioca and let sit in the fridge for a few hours).
So far my favorite drink I have made with these is just some squeezed juice from an orange, lemon, lime, or grapefruit with some honey.
These are the best tasting chia seeds that I have found. They are also the cheapest.
I mix 1 or 2 tsp. of chia with 6 oz. of yogurt, 1/3 cup of milk, and 1/4 cup of oatmeal and
refrigerate them overnight. I breakfast on a flavorful and healthful pudding.
I do wish the spoon that comes with it was long enough to reach the bottom of the jar.
This is one of my staples. I buy several at a time. I buy this brand because it is organic, the right amount and I like the jar. I prefer the container to any other chia seed product I've tried because the seeds don't stick to the sides like in a plastic bag. And the size of the jar is just right for giving me enough and fitting in with a bunch of mason jars filled with other items. The seeds themselves are great - I've been including 2 heaping tbsps of chia seeds in my breakfast smoothie for several years now and I find it gives me energy and makes me feel good.
These are incredibly perfect Chia seeds! The best part is not only are they high quality but they come with a plastic tablespoon inside! For me this is fantastic because I'm always scrambling for a tablespoon to measure this or that in the kitchen. I don't think I could have enough tablespoons. I love that every evening there's a little scoop inside so I'm able to measure my chia seeds to soak overnight for my morning smoothie.
Has fresher noticeably better taste than other bulk chia (non-organic) I have used. The container and enclosed measuring spoon is very handy, as the seeds are small and can make a mess on a counter top when scooping if one is not careful. I use it mostly in soups and it even tastes great on salads.

I use these in many ways. In my salads and other dishes and I also sprinkle them over my cats' wet food. I keep them in the refrigerator. I think they are a good nutritional addition to any diet.
I have ordered this brand of chia seeds in the past and will continue to do so. I use them on my cold cereal like I would when I could eat sugar and they are good for you. My husband prepares many meals with this as part of the ingredients. The price is good and I like the container because it is rather large and you can grip the back side of it because it is tapered inward.
The wife got on a Chia Pudding kick, so these looked like a bargain compared to the local store prices. According to her they make a great Chia Pudding. But then she got tired of Chia Pudding a week after I bought this, like she does everything. So I started planting these everywhere. Mix them with water and they almost create a seed gel (this isn't some magical Chia Pet secret, this is just a natural behavior of the seeds) which can be applied to almost anything. As long as the surface is porous or can retain moisture, you can have a luscious green bed of Chia sprouts growing on it. This would probably work awesome in someone's cubicle if they go on vacation for a week, especially if the cubicle walls are carpet and can retain moisture.
I have oatmeal for breakfast every day, and these are one of the three things I sprinkle on it. According to the Internets: "Chia seeds are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, antioxidants, iron, and calcium. A 28-gram, or 1-ounce, serving of chia seeds also contains 5.6 grams of protein." I order it on Amazon for the convenience. I used to buy it from the bulk bins, but this is less work, and it's easier to keep it fresh due to the durable container it comes in. I'll keep buying it, unless I see a rival offer it for less.
Amazing help for your digestive tract. Contains a lot of fiber which makes going #2 considerably easier. Works very well in smoothies, just be sure to put them in the blender first so that they are completely pulverized into your drink. Highly recommended.
