Planter's is our favorite brand of nuts, so when I saw this offer available I thought I'd try them.
I ordered the Planter's Nut Variety Pack to use as "Pay It Forward / Sprinkle Kindness" trinket gifts.
I give these individually packaged Planter's nuts to our weekly Refuse / Recycle Collectors.
I bag the nuts with a bottle of water in the summer & package of hot cocoa mix in the winter.
I rotate the bag contents with healthy snack bars / a microwave popcorn pack, etc.
I add a Smiley sticker to the bags as an added gesture of fun.
It's worth it to see a smile on the unsuspecting worker's faces.
Just an extra way for me to say "thanks" for their services.
Okay variety pack. The salted peanuts and cashews tastes as you expect. The honey roasted peanuts flavor is a bit overpowering though and the weakest in the pack (in my personal opinion, others may disagree). Also the honey roasted peanuts in the only bag that isn't transparent.
I do not like how the "Tear Here" release tab is vertical instead of horizontal. Some times when you tear it, there's a tiny hole where the peanuts or cashews cannot go through optimally, so you have to stick your pinky in to expand the hole.
I like how the expiration date is posted in each individual bag, just in case you lose the box or plan to sell it at retail.
There's a hole punch near the top, making it good for retail sale also.
Good for on-the-go, or a packed snack for children's lunchbox. Cheaper if you buy it in bulk instead of individually packed bags, but good to pay extra for convenience at times
Overall, aside from the honey roasted peanuts being to strong and the bad angle of the tear tab, it's a good variety pack.
I purchased these for Christmas stocking stuffers. I had plenty for my family so shared with a couple friends. It is a healthy alternative snack to having just candy in a stocking. College kids enjoy, as well as young, old, and outdoors enthusiasts.
These snack size packages are great for bringing on car rides, to work, etc, and help you avoid unhealthy options such as chips and cookies. I do wish there were more honey roasted peanuts (its mostly just salted peanuts in the box) but thats just personal preference.
I normally love Planters, especially the Deluxe Cashews cans which have high quality, great tasting cashews. I order 2 cans every month. I thought I might save a few bucks and try this box of 24, but won't be ordering it again. The peanuts and cashews are all tiny, very low quality, shriveled, and there's definitely a weird perfumey smell in every pack. Bits & pieces of normal quality nuts I can understand at this price point, but these are just soooo bad. I'd even say that the quality's worse than those cheapie no-name stuff you can buy at any store. Just horrible. Good news for Planters is, I'll be sticking with the higher priced Deluxe Cashews because those are the best cashews anywhere.

- Convenient single-serving packs
- Salted peanuts offer fresh-roasted taste
- Honey-roasted peanuts for sweet and salty snacking
- Salted cashews offer delicate sweetness and smooth texture
- Good source of key nutrients such as fiber and protein
Try all three of these famously fresh tasting Planters nuts. Expertly roasted and individually packaged, perfect for when you're on the go. Contains 6 Salted Cashews 6 Honey Roasted Peanuts 12 Salted Peanuts
We got this variety pack via Subscribe and Save and at 21¢ per ounce thought these were a good deal. Arrived as pictured and described...
You get a mix of 24 individual packs of salted peanuts (12), salted cashews (6), and honey roasted peanuts (6) in a box suitable for the pantry. Very convenient for lunches or grab and go when I don't have time to dedicate to making our own trail mix snack bags.
They are, however, more salty than the packages of nuts Planters has here that are not individually wrapped. I'd rate them 5 stars if they weren't over seasoned (definitely a matter of personal preference).
If you're interested, another prepackaged convenience food I'd recommend (5 stars, reviewed with photos on it's product page) is the Salami and Cheese flavor of these, GoPicnic Ready-to-Eat Meals Salami & Cheese, 3.6 Ounce, (Pack of 6)
Recommended for convenience and value. Uploading a photo so you can get a closer look (the box does arrive filled as advertised, this was taken after having some). Smile. Hope this is helpful!
Great stocking stuffers for adults. My only compliant, which isn't really isn't a compliant, is that the box contains different flavors and they were tossing them back and forth to trade flavors. I would have preferred to purchase several boxes of all one flavor.
Peanuts in any form are my favorite snack food. I also add the to quite a few Asian style dishes as a protein source and the added flavor. I like the small packages because they keep the product fresher longer and they are a good serving size. I keep them in the car and in my go and rotate them in and out of my earth quake kit and go bag. Disaster preparations on everyone's mind right now and this is one of the foods good to have on hand in a survival kit.
I see nothing wrong with the taste nor the quality of nutrients. Make sure you have a good amount of water around the time eating these because of the sodium in each package. I don't think it's a lot because just something to keep in mind in case there's an emergency and you have a little water and a lot of these. You might want to get more water in that case. Anyway, this package has good tasting food and good variety.
Very good, but I agree with other viewers. You can not hide them.....from yourself! Good to taste, but my waistline is talking back. They need to put in bags of five, or so. Maybe that visual would help us be disciplined.
