My husband, um, goes nuts over these. I prefer Spanish-style or lightly salted peanuts, but if you like dry-roasted with that salt/garlic/onion/sugar coating, these Planters peanuts are the standard. They make a good snack by the handful or as a salty counterpoint to cocktails or beer. I put out bowls of these when I have company since almost everyone likes peanuts, and they are easy to munch without needing a plate or utensils.
This large plastic jar is best for households that will eat a lot of peanuts, although they do keep for a long time as long as the top is securely fastened. Believe it or not, these are not vegetarian because they contain gelatin.

I make rocky road fudge treats and only use planters dry roasted peanuts. They always taste fresher and have that yummy saltiness that I can always count on to make my dessert a success. These arrived freshly packaged with plenty of time to enjoy them since the expiration date was several months away. It is close to a Costco size package with a great price tag. Would highly recommend and will definitely be buying again.

Really fresh and economical way to eat high quality dry roasted peanuts. I used one container for a full 2 months and the last peanut was as fresh as the first - which was great tasting! Not too salty either.

Planter's Peanuts are about the best you can get, but for the last few years the taste and texture have just been different than they used to be. They're not bad by any stretch, just...maybe more moist with a slightly different taste? They don't seem as crunchy as they used to be, and the seasoning is not as strong or as flavorful either.
These are the salty nuts that you want to have in your mouth at snack time. Fresh, not-too-salty, and crunchy. Dang, I just realized I ran out. After this review, I am ordering another container.

I purchased these for a little test of our Prime Pantry options, and I was pleasantly surprised. You get a lot for what you purchase, and I think these will last us a while.
These are the gold standard peanuts of their type. I rather like them and I think you might as well - especially if you're looking for standard roasted, salted, peanuts.
