Martha & Marley Spoon, Oven-Fried Berbere Chicken with Date and Almond Green Salad Meal Kit, Serves 2

Martha & Marley Spoon, Oven-Fried Berbere Chicken with Date and Almond Green Salad Meal Kit, Serves 2

Was pleased that the seasoning was not overly spicy, and could be enjoyed by my husband without any heartburn. I added a teaspoon of honey to the dressing, which was perfect. Love that the salad was NOT prewashed, so it was fresh, there was plenty of it, even leftover for another large green salad. Love the fresh lemon, and sweetness of dates with crunch of almonds. People who can't keep a little olive oil on hand, wash a salad, and zest a lemon clearly don't understand the value of fresh food. I do, and will buying this again.

Super tastey and easy to make! I love how the Martha & Marley brand provides actual ingredients instead of “premade” sauces and items because it gives you a better sense of what exactly you’re consuming.

I would LOVE if amazon fresh would offer healthier low carb meal options though.

My entire family (husband, 4 year old and 2 year old) all really enjoyed this meal! I added some pasta and it was enough for all 4 of us!

I didn't have trouble making this dish, and I was happy with the results. In the salad, I could have used less lettuce and more of the other ingredients.

Amazing - Serving size was just right for both us. The produce arrived very fresh, which I found wasn't the case with other brands I have tried. Very satisfied with our first order

Description

Berbere spice (an Ethiopian blend of chiles, fenugreek, paprika, cardamom, coriander, and ginger) is the key to this crispy chicken dish. A flavorful mix of mayonnaise, lemon zest, berbere spice, and panko coat the chicken before baking in the oven. The same spiced-mayo becomes the base for a creamy dressing for the side salad, which is dotted with juicy, sweet dates.

I had it delivered to our office and brought it home. Great taste and easy to prepare.

Excellent and easy

The chicken is good but the spice blend is not one I'd use for the salad dressing, it's really strong, overwhelms the other ingredients. I'd coat both sides of the chicken with spices, leave it out of the salad.
