Since switching to a pescatarian diet, the search for the most realistic hot dog replacement began. These vegan hot dogs I can pretty confidently say were the best option our family found. It is slightly more like a Vienna sausage in texture but I will take that any day over the dry cardboard texture a lot of other vegan hot dogs have especially when grilled. We haven’t tried straight up bbqing these bad boys, but they’ve held up to every other hot dog/sausage recipe so I am looking forward to trying that as the final test.
On medium heat, for *several minutes* I "fry" 2 -- cut length-wise -- then make a "sandwich" with 2 pieces of lightly toasted bread...YUM!! My husband said "tastes like a bologna sammie".

I buy these way too often, just love these as a replacement hot dog. I like knowing that I am not eating animal parts. Ughh. These are great warmed, roasted, made into a corn dog and just cold.
This is a good source of protein with the texture of chicken Vienna sausages. I add plenty of onion powder , garlic Mrs. Dash and cayenne to the broth. No need for meat. This has the smooth texture of real tender links. It goes well with baled beans, split pea and top Ramen noodles; to name a few. You get more bang for your buck with these large cans. They are easy to chew and have fiber, as well. This is my first; but not my last.

I really enjoy just eating these out of the can or from a BBQ with sauce on them, can't tell the difference! I also mix into other dishes, they are very versatile in use and taste! I most definitely will order more and recommend anyone to give these great tasting veggie dogs a shot, you'll love them and so will the kids!!!

Man these are good. I got a can for me and a can for my father who has eaten them for probably 30 years,. The flavor is the same as it always has been- I've seen reviews saying something changed,. Absolutely not.
Great source of protein for my vegetarian daughter not sure how good they arefor you It’s all processed crap what are you gonna do.
These are ok, it was a very large can so i bagged them and froze them. They freeze great. getting the larger size is definitely cheaper.
