Very nice unit! A well made product and is quiet as well as fast.
I had to install software that required a DVD drive. There was about 17GB worth of data and, after plugging in the drive, it was ready to use within seconds. Took a while to install the SW, but the drive sounded smooth as the arm was being reposistioned.
The built-in USB3.0 cable was a nice touch and there is a molded recess in the bottom to store the cable. The only disadvantage is that the cable is short enough that it must be within a foot, or so, of the USB socket.
Good value for money, would highly recommend!
I have ordered this for my own use, because I have a Chromebook with no DVD drive. This is exactly what I am looking for. It is small in size, light in weight and easy to install and use. I am very satisfied with my purchase. This product is very easy to use. I'm surprised how cheap it is because it works so well. Moreover, because of the failure of my computer's internal drive, this is a more cost-effective way to go. It is lightweight, easy to handle and performs as expected. The delivery date is earlier than the expected delivery date. Highly recommended.
I’m very happy with this cd drive! When I purchased my currant laptop I didn't realize it had no disc drive in it and I wanted to rip my music to the laptop. I wasn't sure what I should get to make this happen and decided to take a chance on this drive.
It was a simple setup, all I had to do was plug it in and let it connect to my laptop long enough to install the drivers.
I put in a CD, opened my media player and I was ready to start moving my music pretty quickly.
The drive is small enough to fit into my laptop bag easily which I'm happy with it.

I bought my Baby G Blue Whale Jan 2014 and it is now September 2016. Love love this watch. I do a lot of hard work on a farm with goats, horses, dogs and other animals. It has held up well. Been slammed and even my wrist stepped on by a goat. It didn't break. haha Seriously a very good watch and worth the money. I paid around $60. As far as the blue color sure it faded but I wear it 24/7 only take it off for a shower and also clean the watch then. It is a paler blue more translucent now but still has the blue tint to it. It is a great solid sport or working type watch. I have dress watches so I wear them out but for everyday this is excellent choice.
our daughter is receiving her masters of divinity degree in may. i purchased this for her first sermon at her home church. this came without a chain, which i knew because it was in the description, so i purchased one at our local jewelry store. she was so surprised and thrilled when she open the box. the cross itself is small, maybe 3/'4 inch, and delicate, like our daughter! it was absolutely perfect. the cross arrived very quickly, i paid a little extra to get it here over night and it did arrive early the next morning! it was well packaged and i was very pleased.
After numerous unsuccessful attempts to buy a diffuser locally to replace our vintage 70s one (the little lever broke off), I ran across this and promptly placed an order because continuing to run the AC into the garage was really annoying (the lever broke off while the vent was open). The ones in the store were flimsy and had a recessed slide control that was difficult to operate, and when I did get it to slide, the louvers didn't budge more than 1/2 inch, max.
This is nice! It's a good sturdy metal and the lever is easy to get hold of. This opens and closes smoothly without having to fight it and the louvers open fully and close fully. The holes lined up perfectly with the ones from the previous diffuser so it took about 60 seconds to install.
This is everything a pocket watch should be. The perfect balance of being simultaneously simple and ostentatious, this watch has a clever design and a classy look. I couldn't imagine a design that did a better job integrating the second hand, exposed escapement, sun-moon and 24 hr dials into an aesthetically pleasing whole.
However, although most wouldn't notice this, I wish it didn't use the stick on decals on the 24 hr and second hand dials, as they somewhat cheapen the look of a product that otherwise looks very high quality. I also may have preferred that this watch had a snap door clasp instead of just the exposed crystal, but that's a personal preference.
Over all, these minor shortcomings do not overly detract from an otherwise great design. At $70, you can't go wrong, although I doubt I'd have paid the original price of $260.
