Enfamil Nutramigen Infant Formula with Enflora LGG - Hypoallergenic & Lactose-Free for Fast Colic Management - Powder Can, 19.8 oz

Enfamil Nutramigen Infant Formula with Enflora LGG - Hypoallergenic & Lactose-Free for Fast Colic Management - Powder Can, 19.8 oz

I breastfed my youngest daughter for first 4 mos. of her life until I was not producing enough milk for her appetite so we started formula. She broke out immediately into a severe allergic reaction with the first use of formula that required a trip to the ER, two Benadryl shots, one Epi shot, and two steroid shots later. Apparently, she was and still is, allergic to cow's milk so the only thing she could drink other than my breastmilk was Nutramigen. We mixed it slowly little by little with my breatmilk until finally when she was one yr old, she was completely on Nutramigen. She had absolutely no side effects or allergic reactions but still got her protein and grew quite well over the years. Three yrs later and she is still drinking it! She does not like the almond milk, or coconut milk we tried and she's allergic to soy so we still give her this formula. I've asked my daughter recently if she likes the taste of it, and she said yes. I guess she's so used to the taste. Well, eventually we have to move onto something else but she still has a severe allergy to milk protein so until then, Nutramigen is her fav drink. She prefers it over apple juice even! It has been costly over the years but I believe it saved her because without my breatmilk, there was nothing else she could stand. Btw, we did try the similar version but she did have a bit of a reaction to that.

Lifesaver for my daughter. She has terrible reflux, still even at 8 months old, and has been on this formula paired with reflux meds since about 2 or 3 months old. It also helped with her painful bowel movements. A lot of people complain about the smell but it isn't bad and my daughter loves it. I tried at 6 months old to switch her to a sensitive formula (per the Dr's instructions) and she vomited everywhere. Went back to this and she has been great!

So I finally had a moment to ask my baby grandson how he enjoys his new formula and he says that it is MUCH better than what he had. I believe it was Infamil.. He says that even though it smells absolutely atrocious, the taste is quite yummy. He also told me that his tummy pains aren't bad anymore and he is able to burp and even pass gas a lot easier. He says he is happier that he has better bowel movements but he also says he urinates a bit more too. He said we should DEFINITELY keep this on hand, so I think we will. Now, time to buy more diapers..

Nutramigen is great for sensitive babies but it is expensive, stink and tastes awful.

Nutramigen helped our son with colic. He was a totally different baby within a week of starting this formula. He is three months, and his colic is now gone. We are planning on keeping him on this formula until he's one just because it can reduce the chances he will have a milk allergy later in life. Spending more now is worth it to me because I grew up with a milk allergy, and it's terrible! He no longer has stomach pain that makes him cry and scream for hours. He's such a happy baby now. This formula is VERY expensive, but it's so worth it. I'm grateful for this formula! Make sure to read the instructions to get the full benefit. You're not supposed to put it in hot water because it can decrease the effectiveness of the good stuff that's in it!

This formula has made a world of difference for both my daughter and son. They both were unable to have breast milk or regular formula. They both had issue with reflux and constipation when on breat milk and regular formula. After a couple days on Nutramigen the reflux began to subside and they became more regular.

This seems to be the only formula that my baby can easily digest and doesn’t spit up. This worked better for me than the gentlease kind.

Cleared up psorsis on the baby's face.

The baby can't have dairy because of an allergy. The pediatrician told us to try Nutramigen. This is one of the few formula's he will drink and it hasn't caused any side effects in over 6 months. I don't like the price, but I'm happy the kiddo is feeling good.

This milk is easy on my son's tummy which I love but the whole bad part is it made him poop about 5-7 times a day which caused him to get a butt burn but other than that it's really good milk!!
