Energizer AA Batteries (48Count), Double A Max Alkaline Battery – Packaging May Vary

Energizer AA Batteries (48Count), Double A Max Alkaline Battery – Packaging May Vary

I don't have a preference between Energizer and Duracell AA batteries. Two batteries last about 7 weeks in my Trackpad and about 6 months in my Apple wireless keyboard. Duracell always used to cost less, but recently I am finding more good deals on Energizer. This 48-pack was one of those deals. A lot of batteries and a lot of packaging. The outside box is of corrugated cardboard. Inside are two black paperboard boxes with 24 batteries each. The batteries are packaged in little boxes of four inside the black boxes. The batteries I received (ordered 24 March 2018) have an expiration date of 12-2027. These were sold and shipped by Amazon. I NEVER order batteries sold by a third-party seller, as there are so many counterfeit and old batteries sold on Amazon by third-party sellers. Check the "sold by" and "ships from" underneath the price on the product page.

I use a lot of AA batteries. For me personally, I have found Energizer lasts longer than other brands. This is a good deal. I used to wait for them to go on sale at Home Depot or Lowe's, but this is a good deal and I don't need to wait for a sale.

Normally, I buy the Rayovac batteries at Walmart to try to save some money. Based on the volume of batteries, these turned out to be cheaper and they are Energizer. When I open the battery box up, instead of being a bunch of lose batteries, they were boxed separated into 4 batteries per smaller box. The way may son goes through batteries on the xbox, this will be a Christmas present.

I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you.

These are terrific batteries. But more important, they actually guarantee they won't leak. After having everything from flashlights to toothbrushes ruined by leaking batteries, I decided, No more. I can't imagine ever buying any other brand.

I have tried a LOT of different brands of batteries. Some have come with products I have bought. I have always found Energizer to be the best for long lasting durability and shelf life. I have also shopped at most local stores for batteries and although on occasion, I've found cheaper prices (by a few pennies) ... as a whole, I purchase on Amazon. I don't have to find a sale, get in my car (burn gas), fight crowds or wait in line. Delivered to my door ... and that outweighs ANY pennies I might save by buying "local"

I was nervous about buying batteries after reading so many reviews where purchasers received “old” batteries, sent loose! These were spot on - expiration 10 years from now, as they should be, and no broken packaging. Will order these again.

I have read some bad reviews of these, but I tried out a set to see, and I am glad I did. I went thru and tested each battery, and found all 48 tested at =>1.62 volt All have date code 12 2028 and MADE IN USA on them. These are boxed with 6 boxes containing 4 AA. There is two of the 24 count boxes in outer box. There is no plastic wrapping involved at all. At least my set was great buy, and will get another set, at this great price. My Grandkids will be doing the durability test, and they are using some of these new batteries now.

While the packaging is annoying, these are fresh batteries and last well. They come in a sturdy box that reveals another box inside. Open that and you find multiple 4-pack boxes holding the batteries. Not so easy to reach in the drawer and grab the number of batteries you need--unless you need 4 :), but I'm pleased that the batteries work well and last. I had a handy big pack from Costco previously that was easy to get into, which was a good thing because the batteries gave out and needed replacement so often. These work much better.

I need a lot of these batteries as I have battery wands in my silhouette blinds throughout my house. I thought the blind manufacturers warning that I needed to use ONLY Energizer AA batteries was a bunch of hooey until I tried using another respected brand. The batteries oozed from the warm sunlight hitting the blind headers. This is the best way to buy them, at the best price!

We have lots of battery-powered candles and lights in our house and Energizer batteries are my preferred choice. I’ve tried Amazon’s batteries and they don’t last nearly as long as these do. None of the batteries I received were expired. They came in small boxes of four (packed into the box pictured on the listing). Eventually we’ll be switching to rechargeable, but for now these work good and are a great price.
