It is easy for the kids. Large buttons and easy touch screen. I like that it has a stand.
The free content in the KIDOZ app keeps my kids entertained. There are familiar Disney characters and funny stories.
I like the jelly- like case but it couldn't hurt to have a scratch protector added to the tablet. My kids are young and don't know to be careful with the tablet.
It's a decent tablet for the price. My kids and I give it 5 stars.
A great buy! I bought this for my son and he was so happy to have his own tablet. Such a great gift for the kids, great price and I won’t be too upset if he loses it, lol, I can easily buy another!

So starting off, the specs of this tablet are pretty decent for its use case scenario. Nice resolution, 1280x800, quad core 1.5GHz processor, battery life is decent (talk about that later) speakers sound decent and the case is actually pretty good with a sturdy kickstand mechanism. I bought it for a 2 and a 4 year old, but I've spent some time with it myself in the past few weeks that I've owned it.
The tablet runs 8.1.0, and I like the fact that it's pretty stock. There's nothing bogging the system down with crazy skins or effects, it's basically just a barebones tablet that has a few preinstalled kids-centric apps and runs essentially stock Android. There was a originally a lot of slowdown when I first turned the tablet on and sometimes after just turning the device on, but that was simply because of the fact that it was downloading/updating a lot of apps once you complete the account setup process.
The kids love it, the design of the tablet would appeal to any kid, the fact that they can watch their own "big screen phone" as they call it, is great for them, and it's honestly a super cheap device despite the specs that it has. Now, for adults out there that are looking for a cheap tablet to purchase for work purposes, I would look elsewhere and spend more money. For any technical people out there, I've included some benchmarks.
Looking at the specs reveals that there's an RK3326 SoC inside of it. And the specs do sound great on paper, quadcore processor, 1GB RAM, etc. However, I just don't think this was made to drive any sort of high performance Android tablet (that's not what this product is anyway). The SoC was moreso made to drive smart displays and speakers, not Android tablets. It is a recent SoC, made and revealed in 2018, but the performance is that of high end smartphones from 2012.
The battery life of this is an interesting one, the product page lists that it has a 4000mAh battery, however some apps reports that there's only a 2500mAh battery inside of it. But even still, it says that's what Android reports, something I've never seen before. Is there a conflict between the actual battery and what the software is reporting? I see about 5-6 hours of video watching before needing to charge again.
Regardless, the reason I bought this tablet was for the kids, and they absolutely love this thing and barely let me use it, and that's perfectly fine because the included screen protector and case this thing comes with, I can basically know that they're never going to break it. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to give their own phone or TV a break, because any kid is going to love this.
I got this for my daughter as she was always using mine or my phone. She loves the pink case and the stand that is attached. It comes preloaded with some Disney material which was nice. It is not as fast as your more expensive tablets but it does the job for my daughter. The screen resolution is solid and would def recommend.
Quite the decent tablet. Just as powerful and shares features with a regular level "adult" tablet. The only thing that makes this a "kids" tablet is the case color and that it comes with Disney content pre-loaded, otherwise mom and dad could use this themselves.

Dragon Touch Y80 8 inch kids tablet
My first impression after setting everything up last night is this is a great kids tablet. Better than a leap frog in my opinion and about the same price. Got tired of the kids messing up my apps and iPad in general so for my sons’s birthday I got him this tablet. It comes preinstalled with kids apps but the best part is I can also download whatever movies I want unlike the leap frog which is what they want. Also we can get prime movies on this. The leap frog we have can take more of a beating than this tablet would be able to buy I’d rather have this tablet get scratched up than my iPad.
First of all , for its price, its really fair. A good value, I know there are a few knock off tablets out there, but this is designed for your kid, my baby dropped this twice already since getting it and its still working great. I like that the protective case is already included in the package and that there are apps designed for her from the start. My kid approves this tablet.
Great for small hands. Love the bumpers. Parental controls are awesome. Just takes a little while to learn the system if you aren’t familiar with androids.
Overall good product that operates just as well as any other Android tablet except it is a little bit slower. The case seems to protect well, however the part on the back that you use to stand it up is a little hard to deploy, especially for kids.
I bought this Tablet for my son as a gift, he loves it, I like the battery life and the case and the color, the software is good smooth and fast, over all is good
