Boscoli Olive Juice, 12.7 oz

Boscoli Olive Juice, 12.7 oz

I am quite picky about my dirty vodka martinis. This mix is great. Salty - not sweet (I can't stand sweet in my martinis). I find a tablespoon or two mixed with vodka and a dash of vermouth, shaken on the rocks, is perfect for me. I add Filthy Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives - 8 Oz Jar which are delicious. And voila, no need to go sit in a bar and pay $12-$15 for overpriced martinis. Love this stuff!

Great product if you like dirty martinis and run out of olive juice. It's a bit more concentrated then the olive juice that you're used to that comes in the jar with the olives so my recommendation as a former bartender is to go a little lighter than you normally would

We love dirty vodka martinis and of course the olive juice runs out much faster than the olives. A friend of ours, who is a bartender, turned us on to buying just the olive juice. However, our first try was with Dirty Sue as opposed to this olive juice by Boscoli. While Dirty Sue would do in a pinch, it has a much sweeter flavor, almost like black and green olive juice mixed together. I continued to search for something that tasted more like the juice with the jar of olives. When I found this product I was cautious so I only ordered a couple bottles (would have only ordered one if it hadn't been for shipping). I was thrilled when I got it. I put some juice from the jar of olives on a spoon and some juice from this bottle on another spoon and let my husband, who has a very acute sense of taste, try it without knowing which was which. He couldn't identify this from the juice from the jar! We've been sold ever since and order several bottles at a time. You won't be disappointed in this product!

I'd been ordering martinis with olives, and never eating the olives, but also was inexplicably against dirty martinis. At some point I realized that I could get the same salty flavor with a very slightly dirty martini, without killing quite so many innocent olives. And then, I realized I could make them at home and avoid Seattle's ridiculous cocktail prices (sometimes). This stuff is great for supporting both objectives.

Perfect. And WAY better than the other stuff at half the price. A little goes a long way so taste first. Just bought a couple more bottles for my dirty-martini-loving friends.

Description

Boscoli Olive Juice, 12.7 oz

Good flavor, and you don't need to use much.
I still like to muddle some olives in the shaker as well, to make
extra dirty martinis.

I am so glad I gave this product a try. I can now make a martini at home for a fraction of the price that I have been paying for at the bar/restaurant. I tried before with just using the juice from the olives but it didn't give any flavor. But this stuff is awesome. The only downside is the cap was cracked when I received it. I thought it would still stay together but it broke after the second day.

I really enjoyed this product. If you like really salty martinis this is the mix for you. I'm giving it 4 starts because I liked the dirty sue mix better. This is more affordable and had better reviews than dirty sue so might be my personal preference. I'm going to try mixing different ratios with this mix and see if my opinion changes. Great mix, just like dirty sue better

This probably is the closest you can come to the olive juice flavor in an imitation, but it is very salty. A little bit goes a long way, but I'll order again because I've tried two others and they're nowhere near as good as this one.

I am obsessed with dirty gin martinis and this elevated my home bartending game immediately. I was tired of drying out my jars of olives to make a cocktail. Problem solved.
