
Great yeast and alive, I jump-started my yeast and no problem with the yeast. I carry the yeast in my pocket while preparing my cider and then add the yeast to sugar water and wait 15 minutes to see the yeast active in the sugar water and then pour it in my batch. Two successful primary fermentation batches. One I just bottled and the second is in secondary ferment. Highly recommended despite other reviews.

I activated per the directions that I have for my cider, and it started just perfect.
With this yeast I achieved 20% alchohol in a batch of wine.
I used this for a quick and dirty fermentation because I needed a gallon of Mead to top off a large batch after racking to secondary. Worked great! I've heard that the ec1118 strips more flavor, but I didn't care because I also heard that it was fast. Turned out fast AND flavorful. Will use again.
Used this yeast for a few years now. It makes a great cider or white wine easily and bottle carbonates well.

Great yeast for high alcohol wines or restarting a stuck fermentation. I worked great on unsticking my batch of White Champanel wine. I use this yeast exclusively on my white Muscadine wines as well.
Came on time and was exactly what I needed for home wine making
