I have broken 3 of the FITBIT band charges that came with my fitbit alta just by simply going to use them. This product is made of great quality, and holds my fitbit better than the one it originally came with. One thing to note when using this product is that only one side of the two clips will move, but i prefer that over both moving. 10/10 would recommend. So thankful for this product!
These chargers work for the Fitbit Alta. It's the second set I've purchased. The price is good. They are easily broken so be careful.
I would like to say that Sky, VicDirect Customer Service representative, reached out to me after my initial response of 3 stars - easily broken. They immediately sent me another two pack just in case and thanked me for the feedback. They said they would be in touch with the manufacturer and work on a sturdier product. I was very pleased with their customer service and attention to detail.
When I first opened the package I thought I had bought the wrong charger. If you look at the Fitbit Alta, there are 3 inputs and the charger only has 2 outputs, but when I plugged it in it charged.
I just got it so I don't don't about durability yet.
I don't really like this design. I found the original (that came with the Alta) difficult to use and I broke it pretty quickly. I tried to get a dock/stand charger, but it didn't work. I think the design flaw is on Fitbit's side.
This doesn't come with a USB to wall block. I think that's pretty clear in the product description.
Needed a replacement charger and didn't want to spend the $20 from Fitbit for theirs when this one was so highly rated on Amazon. It works!
Only comment is that in the follow up email from the sender, it explains to use it in a computer USB only, and not to exceed 1.0 amps. I don't recall seeing that in the description of the product and have been using it in the USB port of Apple's cube charger. No idea what the amperage is.
One of the chargers arrived broken in the sealed package. Since the price was so reasonable, I didn't mind that much. However, the other one broke within a couple of weeks, so I am once again without a charger. Not very happy.
UPDATE 10/16/17: The company graciously contacted me and replaced the item quickly. Both chargers arrived intact and I feel very confident they will perform as promised. If there are any issues I will update further, but based on their customer service and the replacement I would definitely order again. One of the chargers is happily working right now!!

I’ll keep this simple. This aftermarket charging cable charges my Fitbit Alta, but it takes a little effort to get the device to align with the charging cradle. It doesn’t work like the original fixture but it does charge the Fitbit.
I am a long time Fitbit user and have had a few of the different models over the last 4 years. I have finally solved the battery life problem. It’s simple. Charge the Fitbit device from your PC / Laptop / etc. After three years of head scratching of why all of sudden my battery was lasting why my Fitbit battery was lasting only a couple days, I finally Googled the problem and found a simple solution. I started charging the Fitbit from the computer, and immediately my Fitbit went back to lasting about a week. I’ve had my current Fitbit Alta since it was released. My battery lasts about a week and I only charge off the computer. Try it!! You’ll like it!!
I was crazed when I broke my Alta charger and thought I'd have to buy a new one. Then I had an 'aha' moment and wondered if there were replacement chargers available. God bless Amazon. I got these two chargers for $7.49--and Prime, so free 2-day shipping! My Alta charges nicely again and I can charge in two places rather than having to drag the charger around the house. If you need a replacement charger for your standard Alta or you just want to have more options of places to plug in easily, I recommend this buy.
I lost the charger for my Fitbit and these were so much less expensive than getting an actual Fitbit charger. Plus, I gott 2, which is great since I tend to misplace things! These work just as good as the brand name chargers and for less money!
I received a Fitbit Alta for Christmas and immediately misplaced the charger. ...so why not just get two replacements? The price is great and the product works perfectly! Of course, once I ordered I found the original charger, but I keep one at work now, too. A standard plug with the USB port is needed with these chargers and is not included.
Beware, make sure you buy the cables with the reset button if you need to reset your Fitbit. I bought these cables first and couldn't reset it and I couldn't send them back without paying what I paid for the item for a refund. Luckily they are fairly cheap and there are 2 cables so if one fails you do have a backup. If you need the ones with the reset button make sure you search for them.
I won't take away stars from this product because it was kind of my fault for not knowing before I ordered them but why even sell them without the reset button?
