A fantastic value. Exactly what I was looking for but probably not ideal for every user. I simply wanted a slim, lightweight case to protect my iPad from bumps and scratches. This case is perfect for that. I can leave it sitting around the house or stuff it in my travel bag without worrying about it. The magnetic cover can slide up or down a bit if you press on it, which could technically expose the edges to scratches. But that seems unlikely in everyday use. With the cover folded behind the case, the iPad feels light and easy to hold. And the magnetic kickstand is very easy to engage, much simpler then some other cases I’ve tried.
If you’re looking for something to protect your iPad from serious abuse - like at the hands of a toddler, or from a fall from a decent height - then this probably isn’t the case for you. There isn’t much cushioning. But I think it’s a perfectly good case for most adults. I’m usually seated when I’m using my iPad, so drops aren’t much of a concern to me. Also, I don’t like to bury my sleek iPad in a bulky case that’s uncomfortable to hold and ugly to look at. This case offers reasonable protection and good form factor at a very low cost.
One other note. If you want something like the official iPad magnetic cover, then this is a good option for you. Yes. It has a backing. But it’s very thin. And the magnetic cover feels very similar to the official iPad version. I’m glad I went with this instead since it’s a fraction of the cost.
Using it on my iPad right now. The case doesn’t look cheap and has a nice matte black finish to it.
The cover works pretty well, doesn’t shift around too easily but definitely not the strongest magnet out there.
The ports are easy to access and camera is not obstructed.
I like this case and feel like my new iPad 2018 is well protected and looks good. I would buy again.
Around 3 months ago I bought this case for my iPad. It has been on my iPad ever since, and it is working perfectly. I have dropped this thing a few times, and it has withstood and protected my iPad. The case has all the perfect cut outs for the buttons and speakers, so that there isn't too much of a crack, but there is still accessibility to the buttons. The only thing I would say I dislike about this case, is that the back of the case. It is a special material that, if your hands have a little bit of grease on them, it will leave a smudge on the back. This is not a big deal though, because it can be easily wiped off. If I could change one thing on this iPad case, it would be to make the cover for the front of the iPad a bit thicker. I would definitely suggest getting this case. It is just light enough for basic everyday use, while still protecting your iPad.
Update: 5 months later, and I am looking to get a new case for my iPad. I want a new case just because I have scratched it all up, and I am getting tired of the black. So I went to get another one from JETech, but they only offer 2 colors. ONLY 2. The description shows multiple colors, but there amazon page only lists 2. I would definitely like to have a wider color selection on these cases, as they are built so well.
For $15, you can't go wrong with this case. It is very sleek and light weight. Weight is a big concern I had before I received the case. Apples case is too heavy. It defeats the light weight feature of the iPad itself. All the cut outs and holes are perfectly lined up with the iPad 2017. Sleep and wake function works well every time. The case comes with very smooth surface. It makes it very easy to clean. A piece of baby wipe will do the work.And I love the vivid turquoise color very much. Overall I am very happy with case. Highly recommend!

I have no real complaints about this case. It protects the iPad well along all sides. The hard plastic back holds it tight, so it shouldn't likely pop out if you happen to drop it with this case on. On the front, the magnetic flap is pretty sturdy and still manages to lay flat even though I have a tempered glass screen protector installed. It's super convenient just opening it up and having the display immediately turn on without having to press any buttons. Same goes for closing it and having the display automatically turn off.
Do note that the black color will show smudges and lint pretty easily. I expected this prior to receiving the case, but I thought I'd just make a note of it.
As for the case's stand feature, it works well. Whether on a hard surface or on something soft like a bed, the case stays put and I can comfortably watch videos.
When I Purchased this product I was not expecting it to work very well because of the price that was listed, but I was so wrong. The sleep/wake function actually works and the viewing/typing stand actually holds your iPad upright. The only thing that I really didn't like about the product is that the color is much more darker and saturated in real life than what it looks like online, but other than that it's an amazing product. Although this is a good product I really don't recommend using this case on your iPad if you're going to be taking it to school or work or maybe even traveling with it simply because it doesn't provide much protection to the iPad besides just covering it and preventing scratches.
I really like this cover! The magnetic front flap does make my ipad go to sleep when I close it and automatically wakes up when opened - saves battery life. It provides the protection I need while not giving a ridiculously bulky feel, very classy in appearance. It was exactly what i was looking for. The ONLY criticism I have, and one that has NOT been problematic, is when you fold the cover to let the ipad stand on its own for viewing video, reading, etc....it's somewhat difficult to adjust the angle without risking it will collapse back to flat. Not a big deal, just make sure the back is sturdy in how you fold it to make the stand. For the price......overall I'm very pleased, and I would buy this cover again!! I recommend it!
Good for its low price. But thin and flimsy-this is NOT a suitable replacement for the very expensive Apple case. For example it will not fold over and form a stand-it's too flimsy and the magnets are too weak. But as I said, for the low price it's still a good deal. For me it didn't work and I spent the big bucks at Apple, but this will probably work for most people.
Fits 9.7" gen 6 iPad snug. All cut outs fit properly, no misalignment anywhere. I added an elastic apple pencil pouch to mine without issue. The back cover is a nice thick plastic, yet easy to install. The magnets are reasonably strong, nothing overpowering by any means. This is ideal for someone like myself, who tosses their iPad into a laptop bag (or equivalent) each day. The slim design is perfect for this.
