Danstar Lallemand Nottingham Ale Yeast - 5 Packets

Danstar Lallemand Nottingham Ale Yeast - 5 Packets

Was aggressive, and almost immediately active. Does leave quite a bit of sediment in bottom, though, when finished (so be prepared for that). Used for cidering and left excellent apple taste, even when amped up to higher strength. It's now my second favorite yeast for cider-making. A bit dear, obviously, but my experience says it's made up for by offering slightly more potential per packet. Recommended. (BTW: beware of stale product, which makes a notably inferior result).

arrived quite active! Used a pack of this within a week of receiving. I stored in the fridge until use and placed in a starter before adding to my must (Cider). This was quite active within a few moments. love this yeast.

Great for home brewing in The gulf where you need to make your own beer because of alcohol ban.

Old Notty is a great yeast. I will pitch alongside specialty yeast - it seems to have really great attenuation.

Great product I have bought many of these

Description

If you are looking for amazing versatility from an ale yeast, look no further than Nottingham dry brewing yeast. Nottingham offers great performance with every batch, allowing brewers to cover a wide variety of beer styles with just one yeast Type. The Nottingham strain was selected for its highly flocculent and relatively full attenuation properties. It produces low concentrations of fruity and esters aromas and has been described as neutral for ale yeast, allowing the full Natural Flavor of malt and hops to develop. The recommended fermentation temperature range of this strain is 14 degree to 21 Degrees (57 Degrees to 70 Degrees F) with good tolerance to low fermentation temperatures (12 degree C/54 Degrees F) that allow this strain to be used in lager-style beer. With a relatively high alcohol tolerance, Nottingham is a great choice for creation of higher-alcohol specialty beers.

Danstar always makes a good product. Good price here!

Fast and price.

Use this for some of my homebrewing.

I recently started the process of making banana mead. The fruit had been in the freezer and had thawed when I realized I had no yeast!
Being a Prime member, I went straight to amazon! Urban Wine Beer and Spirits had a 5 pack for a very good price. A day later, I started my mead. Thanks guys!

Use it often.
