My 12 year old loves these chips, and the price is amazing. I wasn't expecting the packaging (Just 40 bags in the box you open) I thought they may be in something else inside the box. But it's ok because I'm sure they taste just fine.
My spouse and I have ordered this pack a couple of times now, and we have been more than happy with the value/price. The only issue that we've run into is that we recently got an order where more than half of the "Spicy Sweet Chili" bags were super oily and damp for some reason? None of the bags were set to expire anytime soon, so we weren't sure why that was. No other flavors were like this. That being said, this was one batch out of about three purchases at this point. Otherwise, it has been great.
For anyone who might be overseas with APO/ FPO/ DPO: These could be packaged better. All the bags were just thrown in with a lot of space to fly around during transit, but nothing busted from what I can tell.
These snack sizes are decent; nothing stale so far. The expiration dates vary and are only 3-4 weeks away this batch and, for a single person, that alone might not be worth it. Also, each type isn't evenly distributed--mostly got regular hot cheetos and puffs, least of all were funyuns and fries. Oddly, the puffs seem to be spicier than the rest too.
Overall, I would order again as someone living overseas with little to no options and the occasional craving for hot cheetos.
All of my chips were there. The chips were to expire a month or two from when i got them, but i eat them daily with my lunch so, that was not a problem. None of my chips were crushed, I bought 2 this time. I'll order again if they keep the price at $12 by the end of next month.
All the bad reviews I don't know what I was expecting. Each type of Chip has been perfect and fresh. with all the reviews that say that they are expired when they get them or about to expire it says right in the product description that the expiration date will be 3 months from when you purchase it. All around great product, great price, and will purchase again.

This Frito-Lay variety pack came in just the right flavors to please my entire family. We all were happy to see this arrive and each grabbed a bag before I could even put them in the chip drawer.
There are 40 bags in this pack that I chose. Inside it was Lay's regular chips, Cheetos crunchy, Chili Cheese Fritos, BBQ Lay's Chips, Funyuns, Doritos, Fritos, and Ranch Wavy Lay's. Even though we all love potato chips, there are still some bags left.
Even though, I bought these as a snack for home, these would be a great option for your lunch box.
The Frito-Lay Doritos & Cheetos Mix Variety Pack provides 40 bags at a reasonably price. As long as you like Nacho Cheese Doritos, Cool Ranch Doritos, Cheetos Puffs and Cheetos Crunchy – you will like this package. However – in my order a couple of the bags were a little stale making me wonder how closely these chips were to the expiration date. Despite that issue, most of the bags were fresh. A qualified recommendation.
The spicy sweet chili and spicy nacho arnt really spicy at all. the dinamita are really spicy and could only handle a few at a time. Overall im happy with the mix. i buy them at local stores and found it to be cheaper here. some of the bags look empty but its just that they are not filled with so much air. i thought they would be stale but i squeezed the bag and it was still closed. they all came fresh with plenty of time before they would expire.
My three favorites are Cheetos, original Lays, and Fritos, so this is a good mix for me. All arrived pretty much intact, not too many crumbs and expiration dates were fine. Packages are a good size for portion control. Will keep ordering
1. Some bags are close to expiring. I detest stape chips, but they were stale thus far, but I'll update my review if I get a bad bag..
2. I made sure all the flavors ordered were in there.
3. Some bags didnt have air. I dont know of that matters, but there were the same amount of chips that one may get from store, so I'm very happy with the order
