I own a ISP company (Internet Service Provider) and have various brands of WIFI routers out there. Many are priced north of $150 ea. We discovered "Wise Tiger", dual band routers. Priced at $40 ea. At that price we ordered 2 to test in our lab and now have them installed at two customer locations. They are working out quite well. Has 4 antennas, simple and easy to set up but also has advanced features IT types may find useful. We ordered 2 more to continue the evaluation. So far, it is successful. Plan to place another order soon.
Easy setup. Works right out of the box! My WiFi speed went from 20 Mbps (download) to 89 Mbps after I switched routers. My wired connection is 100 Mbps. I'll buy this again if I need another one.
I've only had this a day and think I like it. My expensive Belkin router that was a couple of years old started dropping the connection to my VOIP interface (internet phone) after only a few hours. I replaced it with this one.
Setup is not entirely intuitive but I've set up enough routers that it wasn't difficult. One thing I noticed, though, is that after changing the login password and restarting the router, is if I log in from the same browser on the same laptop, it doesn't ask me for any login password for access. I was afraid that anyone logging into the IP address of the router would be able to go in and make changes or see the passwords (since they're displayed in plain text once you get past the login), but when I tried logging in from another device or even a different browser on the same laptop, it required a password. That means that unless someone can hack the wi-fi protocol or guess your password, as long as someone trying to hack your system doesn't have access to the device you used to log into the router to set it up, you should be fine.
I think this should be changed so that the router requires a password even if you've logged into it from the same device you used before using the same browser.
If your printer connects to your router and you used a router that had an IP address starting with the number 10, you may have to reset your printer to factory defaults and start over. Brother support helped me with that since I couldn't get it to connect.
If you can live with the above limitations, you will probably like this router.

I purchased 3 Tiger Wise routers for the building I work for, to be used at the door stations/front desks to facilitate wifi for our new iPads to work in conjunction with the BuildingLink system, as well as the purposes of providing tenants and guests who wait in the lobby for tenants, that added amenity.
My experience with this product is that it is very high-quality; one of the reasons is that it has not needed to be reset in the three weeks since we began using them, as opposed to the building across from this one where I understand their wifi router requires various hard resets and has become the norm over there. Also, the setup was extremely easy; I literally set the first one up in 10 minutes and then the other two took about 5 minutes each. The programming was pretty effortless as well.
I usually pride myself on keeping up to date on newer available technologies, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that while I was setting these up for my job, I also found out that these routers have an extender function, dubbed WISP mode; what that means is that it can grab an existing router’s signal and extend it, which I found extremely helpful in my own residence, so much so that I ended up purchasing an additional one for myself at home because since the walls are made of concrete and from where my combo modem/router (leased by my cable company) is located, I’m only able to get 2-5 MB a second in the bedroom, even though when you’re in the living room where the cable modem/router is actually located, you pick up the full 100 MB I’ve subscribed to.
Once I started used the extending feature (WISP mode), I immediately noted how I was able to get between 25-40 MB a second, which is a huge jump, especially and noticeably since both my wife and I do a lot of our web surfing in the bedroom late at night.
So far I’ve had these at the front desk for three weeks and I haven’t had a single issue.
On a side note, being that the walls in my residence aren’t the best conducers for router signals, and I had previously tried several extenders to no avail, I have to tell you that the Tiger Wise router ended up fixing this issue for me more than I could’ve imagined; the company should promote this function more prevalently as I will be recommending this product to resident in the building how have inquired.
On a different side note, I definitely want to thank Allen from Tiger Wise (not affiliated with Amazon); he was invaluable and of great assistance in solving an issue with one of the routers purchased (which was out of the company’s jurisdiction), but still managed to arrange to have it replaced within a few days allowing me to get this project off the ground on time. Thank you, Allen.
Worked great. Windows 10 had its own driver for it but I needed to run the CD to load the program which was better than the Win 10 program. Took all of about 2 minutes to set it up and working.

I purchased this to replace my 5 year old router. I was getting spotty wifi especially when I was running netflix on 2 tvs on top of being on the internet on 2 phones. I ordered this in hopes of making my wifi stronger and it did not disappoint. It's much lighter than I anticipated and the set up process was extremely easy. I set everything up within 15 minutes or so. It took me longer to remove my old wiring and old modem and rearrange my electronics than it did to set this up. My internet is much faster and it doesn't lag like it did before. I'm very happy with this purchase.
If there is only one thing to say about this WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router it is, EASY! But beyond that it is really powerful and full of high end settings presented in an easy to understand way and set. I am using this WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router / Repeater as a wireless repeater bridge using the WISP menu settings. First thing to do is turn off your computers WIFI and plug the router directly into your computer via the supplied LAN cable. Then go to the IP address mentioned on the install instruction. Then log in with the admin password and follow the instructions. For WISP repeating it is as simple as selecting the WIFI network you want to repeat and entering its password. You are then up and running! I would suggest that you go in and then set a name and password for the new repeated WIFI network. I would also suggest that you go in the administration tab and change the routers defualt password to something other then admin for safety purposes. Before this I was using an ancient router running custom WRT firmware to repeat my WIFI. The old one took like 20 steps to install the firmware and then another 20 steps to set up the repeat function! This WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router was setup in less then 5 minutes! My old router was using an antiquated WIFI protocol. This WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router is an AC protocol router! But have no fear AC are backwards compatible! Because I do not have any 5ghz devices I went ahead and turned off the 5ghz signal on the router. Doing so is as simple as one click! I have heard that disabling the 5GHZ if you do not need it you gain the benefit of the router running cooler, using less power and are putting out less radio wave interference. I suggest that you download a WIFI analyzer on your phone so you can see what your neighbors competing signals look like. You can then select a channel or set it to auto. Do this before you change routers and you can get a look at how much better the signal from your new WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router is! Mine is about 4 times stronger! Also I suggest running a speed test before and after! I went from 5 Megabits per second up and down to 20 Megabits per second down and 8 Megabits per second up! That is a huge change thanks to the WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router! The WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router itself is an attractive two tone white and black and features one small LED on the front. In repeat mode my LED is orange. I do not know if it is a different color in different modes. It also features 4 white antenna over the old school 2. I could not be happier about my WISE TIGER Wireless WIFI Router! My signal strength and speed both went up by 4x! This router is feature heavy at a low price!
This not only a beautifully designed router, which saves space and delivers the great benefits promised on online reviews.
Set up was a breeze when I selected "Basic", no hiccups, no problems at all.
Note that I have Comcast/Xfinity Basic Internet service: 3Mbps down and 0.78Mbps Up. Not very fast at all but, when I replaced my older Netgear WNR2000v3 ( has was working but I wasn't happy) with this TP Link, it's like I have new pc and higher internet speed.
The router works very well indeed, and the product support is excellent and considerate. The only thing I don’t like may not be a problem with the router per se, but possibly a problem with AT&T Uverse service which does not seem to “like” this router but will only work with the router supplied by AT&T. The Wise Tiger router works in tandem, however, and provides better connectivity for our phones and computers than does the AT&T router.
This router works excellently! I have experienced a vast improvement over our old one. No longer am I booted out of my work VPN or experiencing lags on streaming. Highly recommend!
