I have used an iPod shuffle for a while to listen to podcasts of music mixes at the gym or while running. It was difficult to use, but small and had a clip to attach to your shirt. Apple stopped making them, and I'm not interested in bringing my phone with me to the gym or on a run. I'd tried a small mp3 player made by SanDisk that was unusable - I threw it away. I decided to give this one a try and it's terrific - easy to use, easy to transfer music to from your computer (although of course not from iTunes), easy to switch between music files, very good sound quality (as long as you use good earphones), decent internal memory with a slot to add much more if desired. This is an excellent product for what I needed, and a very good price.
Simple design. Decent features and had no problem reading my 64gb micro SD card. Really can't beat it for the price. Similar name brand models go for twice as much. Battery life is great. Will update long term use after a few months.

I use this in my car and on my bike. Long battery life, plenty of storage and tiny. Rock on!
One star taken off becau0se shuffle does not work when in Bluetooth mode. You will have to play around with it to turn off using the play arrow button versus using the off/on switch. The player remembers where it was when you turned it when you use the play arrow button. Sometimes pressing the play arrow the first will turn of the player and sometimes you have press for a longer period the second time to get the 1-2-3 off buttons to appear. You also have to press the play arrow button to turn it on the next time you use the player.
Instruction manual is not that explicit, so you do need to play with buttons to find all of features and to get them to work properly. Reading some of the low feedback ratings, you might wonder if there is a quality control issue. Mine came with a recharging usb cable, earbuds (not the soft cushioned type), and I was able to load my songs using a Windows 10 OS.
Since it has a clip-on and a bluetooth optiond, it is the one I use the most when doing outdoor activities.
