I've only had this battery for about two and a half months, and only used it about 3 times - perhaps once successfully. The computer won't turn on with the battery in it, only if I remove the battery. If I get it to turn on, plugged in with no battery, and then add the battery in, it says that it's fully charged and lasts a few hours, but something is wrong with the battery. I either need a refund or a replacement asap.
UPDATE: Even if I turn it on with the battery disconnected, and then add the battery, the battery no longer holds a charge and the laptop dies as soon as it is unplugged. It's entirely useless now.
2nd Update: Was finally able to communicate with the seller, and they immediately responded and sent a replacement battery. Sometimes things break- it is how the seller responds that is as important as the item sold- they responded very well.
Looks like I ordered the right replacement battery for my Hp laptop, mfg. Nov. 2011, and I purchased it Jan. 2012. It's the perfect fit, snapped right in just like the original. Came pretty much charged, and the life of the battery was 5+ hrs. of continual use. I still had about 15% life left once I finished working. One cool thing happened. Immediately after I snapped it in, the laptop recognized the replacement battery, and automatically began a computerized check on it. Final results, "Battery is good, and functioning properly". So Cool! Bottom line, I am so happy, I'll get to keep using my old work horse for hopefully many more years?
Our HP g6 is OLLLLDDDDD and accordingly the OG battery "gave up the ghost". We didn't want to spend $$$ on a battery and we didn't have to . This battery fit perfectly, came with a charge and seems to be working fine (as of 1 week). Like the original, I don't think we'll get more than 1.5 hrs continuous use but we rarely use it battery power anyway which is why this low cost battery worked out just fine.
My laptop had a dead battery eversince 2016 and in order for me to use it had to always be plug to the wall. I am going on a trip soon so i wanted to use my laptop without having to be stuck to the wall. I bought this for my HP Notebook 2000 and it worked really good. I desperately needed a new battery for my laptop and this one worked to perfection. Before I got it, I had to be tied down by my laptop's charger because the old battery wouldn't even last a full minute on its own. It was very frustrating, but then, I got this battery and, not only did it fit perfectly, I charged it up immediately and it was able to work on its own for so much longer than a minute!! More like between 4 to 5 hours before I have to plug in again. Incredible!!!!

This battery has been tremendously helpful in saving my husband's online life. It charged quickly and it provides the needed backup and keeps everything running smoothly. The negative is that it isn't under any warranty, but the laptop is going to be replaced soon. Not a bad deal for a quick fix.
Fits perfectly, the battery was already more than halfway charged once installed (at 71%) so the laptop could be used right away, which was great. It was very easy to install; just pop the old battery out (no screws) and then insert the HP Spare like sliding it in and popping it in place. It was worth the money it was purchased; my mom is very happy she can use her old laptop without having to buy a new one. Thank you! 5 Stars for everything!
Fit my HP DV7 perfectly. Lasts a little over two hours, which isn't that bad for a 17" screen running at max brightness and fairly heavy use. Would give it five stars but I need to see how long it maintains this performance.
Great replacement for a g4, HP replacement. Put new battery in let it charge for. Few hours unplugged it lasted 5.5 hours, if I left it just running 6 hours would have been met.
This replacement battery fit my laptop perfect. It was about 1/2 full when installed. I let it charge for about 7 hours and then unplugged it and used my laptop for approximately 3 hours. Left unplugged over night and in the morning laptop still had life left. Very pleased with this purchase.
