This was perfect for my sons 6th grade camp outing. They couldn’t bring any devices with them so we had to go old school. Pictures came out great and Costco developed them without having any issues. The cool thing was they were cheaper to purchase on Amazon then Wal-Mart. I also saved myself a trip to Walmart.
Loved the vintage look that the photographs had.
I can assure you that after you develop all your pictures somewhere, you will feel warm feelings, man.
I buy these in packs of 2 (it's really easy to get carried away) and if you're someone who is super sentimental about pictures of friends, family, or just good times in general, this is perfect.
If you get them developed at a Walgreens, it's going to be $15.something per roll with a free disc for digital copies! Also, I found out for some reason, SOME pictures DO go missing, I don't know if it's because of the developer or the camera itself, but if you're at a party/wedding and there's a specific moment that you're gonna get attached to, do take multiple photos of that moment ORRR don't get too attached to the photos at all. You're either going to be very sad about it or very *shrug* about it lmfao.
Keep in mind to not wind up ahead of time, it's really easy to accidentally take a picture and waste a shot! Also it's good to keep in mind that you should probably use flash (unless outdoors in the sun/outdoors with perfect lighting!), if you don't use the flash indoors, majority of the time, the pictures turn out to be a little darker than expected. (Pictures attached are outdoors with no flash, indoors with no flash, outdoors with flash)
BUT YEA
FUN!
My Mom refuses to use any digital camera...so after making sure there was a pharmacy close to her house that still developed film, I got these for her to use with the grandkids. She loves the whole process of snapping them and having our little bonding time getting thrifty ice-cream while waiting to get them developed (and physically going through the prints one-by-one). I personally enjoy digital everything, then ordering the prints through a delivery service. It's obviously a generation thing, but TBH, with so many things being geared towards instant gratification....I treasure our "Mommy and Me time", even as an adult :)
I keep one of these in my car in case of a car accident. Cell phones are OK but in case your battery is low or you forgot your phone, this works great. I used it for my cousin who had a car accident when visiting and took several photos of her car, the other party's car, the intersection and the general location of the accident. The insurance company was able to determine from the pictures, that the story from the 'other" party about some of the damage to their car, could NOT have happened. So it saved my cousin from liability and an increase to her insurance premium. A good, cheap item to keep with you emergency supplies for any quick, visual documentation.

I ordered two of these and my girlfriend and I used them on our trip to London. We got them developed while we were there and we were shocked at how good the quality of the picrures were. Even the pictures that were taken in dark lighting and on cloudy days. The cameras also had to endure going through 2 airport x-ray scanners and it didn't affect the film at all.
I sent these to my kids summer camp with them. They really liked being able to take pictures and I was happy knowing they would have them and not worried about a camera getting broken.
Warning- we have only been able to have this type of camera developed through Walgreens.
You almost never see these around anymore, but it's still super fun to grab one and take pictures.
Obviously, these aren't going to be as good as any non-disposable camera (you will very likely end up with some photos that are mostly dark space since you didn't realize the lighting wasn't good enough and you didn't use the flash). But still for the price, a good time (as long as you have a Walgreens or CVS near you that still lets you drop these off).
Fun idea for a two-pack: If you have a long-distance friend or S.O., use one of the cameras to take pictures of just your day-to-day life. Then develop the photos and send them to your friend along with the other camera, so they can send photos back to you!
wanna feel like an early 2000's kid again? Also, it's a bit pricey these days to get these developed at the drug store and takes a couple weeks because they send them off to process. So don't waste any and be cautious when taking photos! don't stand too close to the flash and make sure there's enough light etc
