As with all technology, this document scanner takes a little while to get acquainted with. Set-up wasn't so time-consuming or confusing, and, after a brief period of trial-and-error, I was scanning page after page with ease. The only real consternation came when it would double-feed, but that's fairly common and easily dealt with. My experience with anything technological in that it is designed to last only so long, and that is why I bought an extended warranty plan, since I intend on deriving a lot of hours of use from this contraption, and need it to be there for me at a moment's notice throughout the years.
Has preformed well so far, sometimes feeds more than one sheet.
