From the picture, I was expecting a scaled down, single person web server. When I received it I was shocked. It's huge. When you open up the case, one can sell the parts alone for more than they pay for it. Plugged it in, put in a hard drive, and the thing works like a charm. It really is worth more than what they are asking.
Purchased this server for use at home to replace a less powerful PC. On initial power-up the system had a critical error and would not post. I looked the error up and it was related to a CPU issue. I had to unseat and re-seat both physical CPUs. After that, the system booted normally.
I received exactly what I expected and even more. Shipping was astoundingly fast. Also customer support was superior. Any question I had was answered and they delivered on everything. 100% satisfied and would recommend this item and seller over and over.
Arrived /very/ well packaged and on time. the thing is solid. It's been used, but had zero problems dropping my drives in and installing esxi on it. Let it be known though, the L5520 Xeon processors are not supported by ESXi 6.7. You must use ESXi 6.5, but Dell still has a download for ESXi 6.5, which you can't get from VMWare.
