I lost my HP charger and this has been a great replacement. They had the correct head for my laptop and my fear going in was that it would feel flimsy and come off easily. That's not the case at all. The adapter head felt like it was a single piece and it doesn't even wiggle. Solid adapter with a solid charger. The length of the cable is also very good.
Found the perfect fit for my Dell laptop & so much more affordable then buying replacement from Dell.
I love it.. I fix computers from time to time and sometimes the people don't have their charger and with this I can work on different laptops without worrying about a charger
Very satisfied wit this charger:
1. has insane number of possible connectors, so it will fit any laptop that you may have, except for Apple, of course. it even fit my new Asus transformer that uses 3mm plug
2. fast charging-around 2hr for a tablet, on par with ASUS charger
3. little heavy-but I got this for my office so do not plan to carry it around
Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy one of these for many reason's I will list. My laptop charger broke and I replaced it with the ebay/amazon china charger that are much cheaper (like 8$). The thing had literally a 3ft charging cord so it needed an extension, it sparked whenever you plugged it into the wall (charging or not) and got so hot I used it as a foot warmer (I seriously did). However it would smell after prolonged use and I could just tell it was a potential electrical issue. Do yourself a favor and buy THIS charger. Yes it costs more but it is of so much higher quality and won't pose a threat to burning your house to the ground. The cord is longer and the charger doesn't get hot at all. Thanks Amazon!

Bought this for testing customer brought in systems with chargers that either were forgotten or didn't work. Had it for just a couple days, didn't test at all. Yesterday a customer came in with another issue and asked if I had a charger. Pulled this out and it worked with her small HP laptop. No issues right out of the box. Just had to find the appropriate plug for it and everything was good.
The tips were all in a bag, unlabeled. No big deal as you just match it up anyway. It's auto switching for correct wattage so nothing to do but plug it in.
Ordered another one for myself yesterday.
UPDATE: So a day after I posted this review, Westronix emailed me and offered to replace the connector for my laptop free of charge and shipping. So customer service is pretty on point in my experience. i'm still waiting on it to arrive but definitely glad i went with this one over the competitors. Definitely worth the price (i paid 20 bucks).
I purchased this charger for my Toshiba Satellite U840 back in May of 2016. It fit well and charged my laptop faster than the stock part. It has held up very well for the time but the tip that i use has now gotten loose at the point that the tip mates with the plastic shell housing it. When i touch it, I can feel the heat coming from the resistance at that point. I guess I can still charge my laptop with it but I have to play the stupid "find the sweet spot" game and its really just annoying, not to mention the part is doomed to stop working all together eventually. While i think that this is a quality charger it is a bit disappointing for the part to break conveniently just outside of the warranty. Westronix, if you read this, I will update my review with 5 stars if you can send me a replacement tip or something. I'll even pay for shipping i don't care i just want this thing to work again.
I have a lot of devices (computers and non-computers) that require power connectors. This one came with a great selection of connectors and seems to work with everything I have. I was impressed by the quality of the tips and like the 90w capacity - it does not get hot like the 45w and 65w power supplies provided by the manufacturer. The cables are long so I can always reach an outlet. Price was reasonable and the quality seems to be good. I do highly recommend this power supply.
I was out of town at my parents when I realized I had forgotten my adapter. The local computer store sold them for about $75. Ouch. I went searching on Amazon and found this one.
I bought this for use with a Dell Latitude E7450. It would show as connected by it would not charge it. I also kept getting an error about the power supply not being original. I tried a bunch of things (I'm very PC literate) but no luck. As I was getting ready to pack it up to return it, I looked at the bag of ends and I noticed another end that looked identical to the one I was using. After looking closer at the end, it was marked for different output. I switched ends and it worked fine. No more errors and it charges as it should.
If the manufacturer is reading this review, it would be very helpful to throw a little piece of paper "in the bag of ends" stating simply "More than one end may fit due to voltage requirements" or something like that. This may be elsewhere in the paperwork included in the box but we are computer people and don't read instructions. :) A one liner in big print in the bag would be seen and read.
My 17" HP laptop "workhorse" just stopped. Since I don't have a battery in, I figured it was the power supply. I ordered one based on the ID of my machine. It was the wrong sized plug for this laptop. I returned it and purchased a second, having confirmed it was for my machine. That one also DID NOT FIT! Sent it back and found The Belker Universal AC Laptop Power Adapter and EUREKA, it includes the tip to my system. I am also a computer consultant and find the need to troubleshoot a power supply from time to time for a client. This tool will work well as I never know which model or brand of laptop I'll run into.
