Setup a study lab with VMs for many different operating systems. It just keeps on going.
Working great so far as a plex media server. 1080p streaming from it just fine, even though I'm only using one port. It's almost full already - the rack mounting will come in handy for upgrading with a JBOD case in the next month or so.
UPDATE JUNE 2018: Still working great. Hosting some docker containers along with plex and emby. Rarely has a noticeable load.
Great server! Fantastic price. They did a great job. The storage battery was throwing errors. Send a message and they sent me a new one as per the warranty.
I will be buying all my servers from them.
Server is exactly as stated. Initially I had an issue with the second CPU as whoever remanufactered it dropped a huge glob of thermal paste on the ZIF slot on the board and then inserted the CPU so cleaning that was just a joy! Also battery for SAS/RAID cache card was DOA. After these hang ups the server ran and has continued to run flawlessly
Purchased this server in March and it is still up and running without any problems, running VMware 6 and many virtual machines. Very happy with the price and performance. I have had it running 24 x 7 under a desk (not the best place) since I purchased it. Will definitively purchase again from TechMikeNY.
