I bought this to power two 6.5 inch JBL speakers and 2 6x9 JBL speakers. I initially bought it as a stop-gap amp until I could afford a better one, but I ended up falling in love with the sound. There was a noticeable difference in the mids and highs when I installed the amp compared to when they were being powered by the head unit. It has been about 2 years since I purchased the amp and it's still helping pumping out beautiful, crisp sounds that don't distort, even at extremely high volumes.
Look guys this thing isn't terrible. The RMS on it is obviously low. I bought it just to run some small 8 inch subs to get some bump on the boat. It pushes them fairly well, no overheating issues, no corrosion issues from salt air and no internal shorts or manufacturing issues. Pyle puts out decent not amazing but decent products for the price. The real issue is, boat audio is a catch .22 do you want to fish or do you want to party? A pontoon boat ain't the fastest on the market, bay boats and otherness boats will push into the 40s to 60s mph ranges frequently and speed boats, ski boats even faster. That's a lot of noisy engine is my point now add wind noise. If you want to hear it, you need power. Consider all this when you're buying. Go 1 gauge wire larger and go oxygen free wire. I recommend stinger. Nobody wants electrical issues on the water.
Purchased this amp back in July and it has been working really well for me, I have it pushing 1 10'' sub and it is hooked up to a Boss Marine Stereo 200 watt I believe. 4 speakers and 2 tweeters sounds great, nice and clean sound
I would recommend for anyone looking to put a good Marine Amp in a area that could get moisture or wet and won't break the bank this could be the one
So.. Simple connection, light weight, Nice Clean Look, Adjustable Power output, Great Value,
It dose the job. I bought this because my trunk leaked and fried by 1000 watt amp. It's clearly not the same quality but I'm a little older now and to the point that if it plays music I'm happy. I cut all the bass out of my speakers and put more into the sub it actually doesn't sound to bad. I have built a system for the last few years for a Halloween float for our town, and I will be buying a few more of these for the float because last year I over heated the head unit in the middle of the parade. Then it finally came back on right in the last 500 feet.
So far so good. Used high level inputs and all is working well. Boosted usable volume and overall sound quality. Not to of the line but not bad for the price.

Great sound quality and great price. I had a problem with alternator noise initially. Checked for proper grounding and that was not the problem. Installed BOSS Audio B25N Noise Filter for Car Audio Systems and problem solved. I'm happy with this product.
Nice little amp! I bought this to use in my trail Jeep, so it can handle the mud and water that I get into without any worries since it's supposed to be waterproof. I received this unit quick in 2days, I think it was so fast that they forgot the 2 high input wire harnesses!!!
for the price i love it, working real good for me car
Pretty impressed with this inexpensive little amp. I AM a bit of an audiophile, I like CLEAN music and sometimes like it LOUD without distortion. I have a competition quality $4000 stereo consisting of all Phoenix Gold amps three in fact, two Kicker Solobaric 12's, Kicker surround speakers for the rest of my system and it all puts together a CLEAN very LOUD awesome stereo that sets off car alarms and can be heard for blocks and blocks if I want it to be, but unfortunately none of that is waterproof for my Jeep.
I figured I'd give this little guy a try, it is running two 6.5 Sony marine speakers in the doors and the Infinity Reference 6912m 6 x 9-Inch 300-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Marine Loudspeaker (Pair) in the back ( purchased here on Amazon as well ) and sounds pretty darn good,
To tell you the truth for less than a Grant, this IS a really impressive little amplifier.
I'm going to get the two channel amp as well and a couple of inexpensive Pyle 10's to add some MORE bass to the Jeep ( really can't believe how cheap this stuff is, I always considered pyle as just that a PILE of China *%*#& but I admit I was wrong,I have had nothing but GOOD experiences with this low cost audio ).
It is great to have a good sounding stereo in my Jeep, that I don't really have to worry about it getting wet or worrying to much about being a target for thieves, most folks consider Pyle products the way I USED to.
PLUS, MY ENTIRE SYSTEM COST LEES THAN ONE SPEAKER IN MY PREVIOUS SETUP - THAT ALONE IS AWESOME
Works well installation was easy, shipping was a day late but it happens from time to time. Overall satisfied. Its powering 2 pioneer 6x9 speakers in my car and works good, sounds good. No complaints, but as far as waterproof I couldnt tell ya, fingers crossed it never sees water.
