This is actually the second Onikuma headset I've bought for my sons. I originally bought the ONIKUMA II Stereo Gaming Headset for my 10 year old because of the low price and very high reviews. Both of my sons thought the headset was very good. When my 13 year old's birthday was coming up, he wanted to get the same headset. When I clicked on the original headset, the web page stated there was a more recent version available. After checking out the reviews I decided to get the newer version. My son was extremely happy with it, especially the mic quality. His friends immediately noticed the difference when he was playing Fortnite online. In addition, the sound quality is very good as he can tell more precisely where game noises are coming from (upstairs, downstairs, to the left, right, etc, and how far away) versus his old headsets (a Turtle Beach XL-1, a DIZA100 Kotion Each G9000, and a Corsair Vengence 1100 (behind the neck) (As you can see, he went through a lot of headsets, which is why I don't buy expensive headsets)
Other miscellaneous notes: Very comfortable during extended gaming, even though he wears glasses. The headset box was slightly banged up on one side, but there was a lot of bubble wrap covering the headset so there was no damage.
I would definitely buy this again. The mic quality was far and away better than the other headsets we owned, while the audio was also a nice improvement, although not to the same extent as the microphone.
I ordered a pair of headphones, one for my wife and one for me. It's very comfortable, I wear glasses and fits smothly, feels a little plastic but defitly looks pretty and well made, the sound its very nice, it was a great invesment, the customer service is amazing.
The materials feel good, looks good (maybe a little over-sized for my taste but the picture is accurate, and most importantly sounds good. I appreciate the reinforce rope type cord.
I've used it with my xbox one (new controller doesn't require a converter, as it has a 3.5mm jack) and with my cell phone to listen to music/make calls.
Beats my turtle beach headset I was replacing for the money
We had a slight technical problem with the headset and the sound was intermittent. We emailed them on boxing day and were astounded to get a reply within one hour. They were so helpful and acknowledged problems can happen but they strive to offer the best quality item and service and they really did this. They immediately offered to replace the item, no questions asked to whatever address I required it to be sent. They then emailed again within a couple of hours to confirm the headset had been sent but advised it might be 5 - 10 days before we get it due to the holiday season BUT we picked up our parcel yesterday - 29th of December, and the package was perfect, works excellently. This headset is far superior to many of the very expensive gaming headsets on the market. Very comfortable to wear, they totally block out surrounding sound and my 12 year old is over the moon to have such a high quality item with great sound and microphone so he can play online games with his friends. thank you for proving good customer service still exists. We HIGHLY recommend this company and its products.
First and foremost, COMFORT. This headset is extremely comfortable on my big head. The sound volume is perfect. Just a bit too loud at the top end so you never really need to max it out. Sound quality is also good, my pc does most of the work, but compared to my old Razer headset at about 100$...this $30 headset is easily it's equal in quality. Noise cancellation is excellent. If my daughter has to tap on my shoulder because she kept calling my name and I could not hear her with the volume at about 50%...that's perfect. The construction looks and feels well made. Soft on the ears and the cables are the braided nylon type and they feel heavy...so it should last through my cats chewing on them a little. All in all...this is WELL worth the 30$ and I would highly recommend these to anyone.

I bought two of these headsets for PS4 gaming for my son and myself. My son wears glasses and it fits over pretty comfortably, he has not complained (yet). There is a huge top cushion which is nice. It is STEREO sound (not surround), at least on the PS4, have not tested on PC yet. There is no real noise cancelling either, but it does block out a decent amount of noise just because of how it grips your ears. From my experience, most 7.1 surround sound and noise cancelling headphones require software or have an adapter, so correct me if I am wrong. The cable connectors are pretty sturdy and long! It also has a velcro cable management strap to keep it neat when you want it short.
TLDR: This is a very nice headset for $30, so nice I bought one for myself as well!
I'm no audiophile or someone who obsesses over every little detail of headphones, but I play video games a lot and thought I'd leave my thoughts.
DESIGN:
The design looks incredibly sleek. It looks futuristic without taking it over the top. I love how the LEDs on the headset are bright enough to remind you that they're there, without half blinding you in the process. The structure of the headphones are sturdy, and feel like they can take a hard bump or two. I have a pretty big head, but even with my huge melon of a head, the headphones feel comfortable.
AUDIO:
The sound of these headphones is good. They certainly aren't a pair of Bose or Sennheiser, but they have a good upper range of sound. The bass sounds a bit tinny, but again, this is a pair of $30 headphones we're talking about. The audio can get both incredibly loud, and incredibly soft, but the volume control on the cord itself feels a little bit inconvenient to reach down for to adjust the volume. The noise-cancelling is pretty good. I'm not very familiar with noise-cancelling headphones, but ambient noise is incredibly difficult to hear. Overall, these headphones do the job well.
MICROPHONE:
Bringing down the mic feels incredibly satisfying. The microphone itself, like the rest of the headphone, is sturdy, and won't break easily. People I talk to say that the mic is a little faint, however, even when I've increased my input volume to 100%, however the quality is good, so that's a problem you can work around fairly easily.
Overall, I'd recommend these headphones. They have incredibly good quality for an incredibly low price. At this price range, you can't find a better pair of headphones.
As you can see..bottom left. They made it to the wall of pc Fame. Lol. No joke though. Great headset for the price. I did download razer surround so I could have 7.1 But that is all you need to do. Love these things. Super comfy too. Good audio volume for gaming...not too loud though.
I bought this gaming headset for my teen son for Christmas and so far, he is very happy with them. They fit well, are comfortable and most importantly, they work! I know some reviewers said that the noise-cancelling feature seemed to be lacking, but that is not our experience. These do everything they are supposed to. I chose this set based on the ratings and price point value and I feel like it was a good choice. We had a Turtle Beach set purchased a few years ago for my oldest who was 14 at the time from Best Buy that only lasted a few months before we were duct-taping them to keep them from falling off. By six months under normal use, the mic had quit working and only one side had sound. I am confident these will turn out to be of much better quality, and I will update my review as time goes on. I would definitely recommend this headset!
Update: This head-set has held up well and continues to work perfectly with no issues.
Just for context: I have a Sennheiser and Bose, so obviously I'm used to be spoiled by the sound quality of headphones. But I wanted a gaming headset with better mic sound and functions, and bought this one off of Amazon's recommendation. Given the relatively low cost, this headset is fine. I don't notice anything great about the sound quality (but as I mentioned, I've been spoiled), the mic seems to work fine, and it's comfortable. But my two main gripes are; (1) the mute button does not work at all, which was very disappointing; and (2) this doesn't connect to my phone to work as a headset. This may be very naive of me, I don't know, but I assumed that like with any other headphones I've owned, I'd be able to use this headset for calls on my phone - instead, people can't hear me at all on this headset, so I have to switch to my Bose or speak on speakerphone for hands-free calls. (I have to take calls sometimes because of work.) But given the low cost and people generally not using phones to call much anymore, I think this headphone set deserves a solid 4/5.
