I have no idea why people don't understand that they're cocoa dusted, not chocolate coated. If you're looking for a piece of chocolate, this isn't it. If you're looking something to satisfy a chocolate craving without packing on sugar and empty calories, this is the PERFECT snack. I especially appreciate that the bag is resealable.
I am on a low carb diet to help me with my Insulin Resistant Type II Diabetes, and my chocolate almonds are my go to sweet snack and protein snack every evening. I keep a 4oz pack in my purse all the time. If I'm with friends at lunch and they order dessert I'll pull out my chocolate almonds. They are so delicious with a hint of sweet. Just right to satisfy that sweet craving.
I've tried three brands of Chocolate oven roasted almonds & these are my favorite. The other two were too hard to chew, which is an issue with me. Very good flavor, almost no sugar. I would post the other's but don't think we are allowed to do that here. One is a generic from a major discount store that rhymes with hallmark. :-)
These are really delicious and healthy nuts. I brought some to my son and his wife overseas, who thought it was an odd thing to bring them, and two days later he told me that they had finished the entire bag. I serve these nuts to guests with dessert, and I snack on them between meals. They give me a bit of a guilty pleasure, with not a whole lot of guilt. Yummy!
If you like almonds and don't hate chocolate you at least have to try these. They have a rich dark cocoa taste but not too sweet so they come off as a delicious snack rather than a decadent dessert. After years of loving all sorts of almond flavors - smoked, salted, etc - these are my new favorite.

These are delicious. It tastes to me like the perfect chocolate coating combination: cacao, sweetness and texture.
When I got to the bottom, I was pleased to see that there was very little chocolate dust (or nut pieces) at the bottom. The coating hangs on just right. I promptly ordered another bag.
I read that almonds are a good alternative to other snacks when dieting. I really want chocolate and I thought these would help. The problem is, like a commercial from the past, "you can't eat just one." I went through two 25 oz bags and 10 days. They are better than chocolate candy, but that much isn't helping with the weight loss.
I do give them a superior rating to the LAETAFOOD version of cocoa dusted almonds. The LAETAFOOD version is sweeter, but it is more like cake or cream sprinkles than snack food.
if you are looking for a sugar coated, thick chocolate covered almond, this isn't it.
but if you are looking for a healthy, sliiiiightly sweet yet dark chocolate almond, this here is your go to.
At first I didn't like them, being used to much sweeter options, but over time my brain switched and I get it. delicious perfection. third bag! highly recommend!
I am addicted to these almonds. I used to have an addiction to M&Ms, but haven't had those in 3 1/2 years. Guess I really like that hand to mouth motion. At least these almonds have more nutrition than M&Ms! I like the Blue Diamond almonds better than Emerald. It is a personal preference. I have a friend who prefers Emerald. I like the chocolate flavor of these almonds.
A very thin layer of chocolate, makes me not feel guilty! My 12 year old loves them too!
