I woke up at 2am back in early March, and couldn't see my baby on the monitor.
I panicked. And then calmed myself down and told myself not to panic until I checked things out. I walked across the house, up the long flight of stairs and down the hallway holding my breath. First time moms have all the best panic attacks. Did he get out of his crib and hurt himself? Did someone come in and take him??
Nope, he had just rolled into the corner of the crib, out of view of my old camera. Butthead.
I knew right then and there I needed a movable camera. So instead of going back to bed, I went into the office, opened up Amazon on my computer - and still couldn't find a camera with solidly decent reviews. But a friend of mine suggested this camera (a fellow first time mom who was ALSO up at 2:30am) and I thought I would give it a shot.
I have not regretted it once since I purchased it on March 3rd. It does a complete view around the room, up/down, side to side. I can make sure the windows are shut, or that the chair was put back, or that the trash can was emptied, then go right back to staring at my peaceful kiddo in his crib.
I had one small issue with the charging cord, a manufacturing defect (which happens with electronics from time to time, no big deal) but the seller sent me a new cord in 2 days flat. Excellent customer service; I am looking to purchase the additional camera when it is available. Thanks again!

I Iove this monitor! My son is a special needs child and he has to be watched constantly. I have piece of mind now especially at night knowing I can keep a eye on him constantly from my bedroom. I am very happy with the picture and sound quality of this product. I also like all the features that come with it. I recommend this baby monitor to all parents especially the parents of special need children it is a must have!
I am a satisfied customer. This baby monitor exceeded my expectation, affordable yet has a good quality. It has a good signal, quality picture, night vision is great and motion detection is good.
Our previous monitor was excellent and also a Hello Baby product. The problem was that we could never seem to find a place that would allow us to get the entire crib in the frame. Our baby would regularly roll around to some location we could not see. The pan-tilt feature of this camera addresses that nicely. The one challenge we had was that the tilt range was not enough to get the whole crib in view when we set it on an adjacent dresser. We purchased a Manfroto PIXI EXO desktop tripod and that addressed the problem perfectly. The EVO has up to 90 degrees of tilt in addition to the tilt range of the camera itself. The non-EVO PIXI has less range, but it less expensive. Overall, we are very happy with the monitor and really like that it uses its own encrypted wireless signal instead of using wifi.

I did not have much success with the very expensive Infant Optics DXR-8 and when it finally quite working once and for all (after less than a year) I decided to go in a different direction and try one that is less expensive. This monitor is a breath of fresh air after the struggles with the last monitor! Picture quality is great and it has not lost the signal once in the 4 days we’ve had it. And it has really cool lullaby feature which came in handy one fussy night.
We got the camera on a lightening sale off amazon. We will be traveling and wanted a portable camera. We’ve used it a few times already and it works great. The night vision and picture quality are great features. It comes in a small box so it is easy to travel with as well.
Before this I had a hand-me-down sound baby monitor, which wasn't the best quality. I really wanted a video monitor so I could physically see and also hear my baby when he's asleep. The video is great for a baby monitor (just what I would expect a baby monitor's video to be) and the sound is pretty good (it does cut out about every 10 seconds but comes back immediately). All the additional features were a huge plus (it shows the temp of the room on the parent screen). The instructions were pretty detailed, which is great. Overall, this helped my anxiety quite a bit. I'm very much pleased.
Great camera. We had an ubbcare before that quit working and so we got this. I LOVE that you can move the cameras view remotely. The visual is perfect. I love that it shows the temp in the room and the batterlife is great! I don’t know if this is a con or if it is user error - but the sound is almost too good. I can hear every whimper from my kiddo on the lowest setting. Also - I can’t seem to find instructions on how to use the wall mount provided. I also wish that the screen would go black and turn on if my kiddo started crying. But all and all a great camera!
This is my second product with the brand Hellobaby. It is very similar to what other top branded baby monitor, with cheaper price. Although it doesn't have the phone/wifi feature, it does have great display and resolution on the screen, detinitely a great product to buy/use if you have a baby.
