I love this VuPoint ST47 Magic Wand Wireless. I have the original VuPoint and have used it to scan just about everything you can think of and it is all neatly categorized on my computer. Great way to help declutter all your annoying paper. When I saw the ST47, which included the docking station and the hard carry case, for the same price that I paid for the wand alone, it was a no brainier. The ordering was easy and the product was delivered in a matter of days. I would highly recommend this product and definitely recommend ordering from Plethora7.
This is the best and fastest way to scan old pictures into your computer. I borrowed my sisters until I could get my own. I scanned 350 pictures in about an hour and a half. Definitely worth it
Scanner works well both as a docking station and as a hand held. Images are clear and easy to move on to your computer. Two things that I don't love: 1. The scanner picks up edges around the image and not just the image size and 2. You cannot scan multiple pages through the docking station scanner. You have to scan one page, then scan another, then combine them in Acrobat Adobe versus run it through all in the same document.
These items are just what we were looking for. We've had good experiences with VuPoint products in the past, and this took it to the next level. The combination of the products, and the wireless feature of this wand make this our best scanner purchase ever.
I have tried the scanner on scraps of newsletter articles, artwork and photos and it does a very good job of reproducing accurately and clearly. As an archivist, I purchased a document scanner when they first came out in the late 1990s, but it would only scan in black and white, and it was difficult to get a clear image. This is a wonderful improvement.

Easy to use, great images! Love the option to either use it as a wand or feed documents via the docking station. No need to be tethered to a computer or power source. Nice, tidy size!
I am an amateur genealogist and this is exactly what I needed to copy documentation, letters, pictures, etc for my. After charging, I attached the scanner with the docking station to my computer. Worked great! Fits well in my computer backpack. Exactly what I need when doing my research.
Very nice set up, I homeschool my child and having this scanner is great to have everything on one drive and not a ton of paper work everywhere
I would buy again--no question. Caution though--The scanner micro-USB cord is fine for the scanner charging and connecting to a laptop but the dock should be connected to power or laptop with the cord that comes with it; otherwise it will not stop scanning, even after a document is fed through. When I used the proper cord it was fine.
