Nice, strong flavor, and I love the Xylitol! We have a special needs child with bad oral hygiene. During one trip to the special needs dentist he came out to talk to us after finishing his work on Kim. He said toothpaste is a waste of money: it does nothing to prevent tooth decay. On the other hand, Xylitol DOES prevent tooth decay, and we need to use it with Kim. He said some gums have Xylitol, but Kim doesn't chew gum. Then he said that after brushing I should dip the brush in the Biotene rinse and brush her teeth with that. Xylitol wasn't very well known then, but I am glad to have the gum now for my granddaughter to chew. She doesn't really care about brushing either, but she likes the gum, and I know it is dentist approved!
I bought this Trident Sugar Free gum in spearmint and cinnamon as an alternative to the chiclet style Epic that I usually buy. Well, actually I did buy the Epic and like it too (same flavors), but the Trident has a softer texture going on and I like it for a change. Both use Xylitol as the sweetener -- not sure if that's good or bad, but probably better than any alternative to chewing gum that I usually do. Flavors of both are similar -- not too minty for the spearmint and not too spicy for the cinnamon -- just right as whatsername in the fairy tale says.
For two decades, I have chewed almost nothing but Trident cinnamon gum, which of late no longer tastes the same as it used to, and which flavor does not last more than a couple of minutes. I have looked for a new flavor and tried a bunch of brands and flavors. The winner for me by far is Trident Spearmint. It has a great taste and last and last.
Only gum I buy nowadays, tend to last a very long time especially if you use 2 pieces. Also has a great taste I've even gotten my mother hooked on the stuff plus I feel like it does leave my teeth cleaner after chewing it.

I love this gum and I recommended to patients who would benefit from it. The magic ingredient is Xylitol.
