Great price, strong build quality. I'd recommend heat shrinking a lot of your connections and soldering if possible to help them stay in place and remain protected. As far as the product goes, it includes a lot of paces for it's price range so that's a huge plus. Highly recommend and will purchase again when i'm running low on terminals!
And the heat shrink makes a tight bond. I've been using them quite a bit and at first I thought they were pretty chintzy because the heat shrink looks like an unnecessarily thick piece of plastic that'll never shrink. I was wrong, and as an added bonus the tips are plated in something that makes solder flow across it and bond like a breeze.
You can make some 100% permanent wire connections with these if you want to. A little dielectric grease under the heat shrink before you seal it up, a good tinning on the wire and gratuitous amounts of solder wicked into the connection and the connector will be the last thing to fail on whatever connection you're making.
Why 4 stars? The case is the stuff of nightmares. It's one of those with removable dividers, so you go to close it and there's always one or two terminals that slipped under the divider that you have to fish out. Then.... They're loose...
I left mine sitting on the end of a board and bumped the board.... Electriskittles went everywhere but even worse - many of the dividers flew out too. I just pulled them all out and let everyone mingle, it was beyond salvaging. God help me if I ever have to sort that thing.
The important part of the deal was the connectors. They're good quality.
The box arrived with one (of 2) clasp broken off, but they're over-rated anyway for keeping small parts organized. They'll all end up in a ziplock bag after one or 2 jobs anyway.
In fairness, there was a friendly sheet in the box that indicated they'd fix any problems to make things right, but a cheap plastic box isn't worth the time it takes to get rectified. That's on me, not the vendor.
Still, it would be better to provide a box that's not prone to breaking than to count on a customer to take the effort to get satisfaction after the problem. Time has value, and spending it to get a problem (that shouldn't have happened) rectified is a waste of labor hours.
Wasted driving and search time unsuccessfully looking at the big box store for the piggyback shape needed to upgrade my thermostat connections to WiFi control. Then wasted effort compensating for lack of the piggyback shape.
I may never use 10% of these in 10 years, but for short money I will never have to go through this ordeal again. Also these are about 10X less expensive per connector when buying in packs of 10.
I bought this because it had some fully insulated spades which I had run out of, but since then have been very impressed with both the quality of the parts, and the good assortment. There are several different ring and U sizes, and some of the spade/lug dual gender crimps (handy when adding something in line). I haven't had any wires pull out yet, and only one part had its insulation slip off in the kit. Has become my go-to crimp kit.

These are SO MUCH BETTER than the junk aluminum pieces available at the auto part stores. Used this pack to wire bed & backup lights, a trailer brake, and a fancy RV plug. Every crimp/connection was positive and held tightly.
As advertised. Works fine.
Gotta give it 4 stars because although the damage to the case (one corner doesn't hinge because its broken off) was most likely done during shipping, the case itself is possibly a little too thin and cheap for the abuse it takes. 90% of the items were still sorted and i don't blame the supplier at all. In fact, they are offering to send a new case as a replacement. We'll see if it comes.
This set has an excellent assortment of connectors. Great sturdy clear plastic box with plastic clips that snap to keep it closed. It is more than expected for the price paid and if I happened to run out, I would definitely consider this brand again.
Afordable and many choices of connection. I would buy again. Restoring an old Jeep. This was the ticket to easy mods and creating my own runs for running everything. And making those connections to vintage electronics and monitoring devices.
This product is exactly what I needed. There's nothing more frustrating than not having the "right" connector or "enough" of the right connector to finish a job.
Not only was this a great value for the money, but the selection of various spade, ring, and butt connectors is more than adequate for wires NOT requiring a wire nut. Thanks!!!!
