I don't have a lot of experience with transducers, so I can't really say if this one is great or not. It seems to be pretty accurate on depth. I'm using this with Garmin's portable Striker 4 unit. It's the one that comes with it, but I damaged the wire on the last one and it stopped working.
I ordered today thos product, couple hours after the item arrived, unbelievable, great service
This is a 4 pin transducer I need a 6 pin. I was able to order the correct adapter by reading one of the reviews where the feedback announced the product number. I was having a problem figuring out what to buy
The price was 1/2 the price of buying direct from Gamin. It fixed the problem I was having with the depth reading going crazy from time to time. Garmin tech support diagnosed the problem and suggested I look online for the part. So great service all the way around.
Great product works very well with my GPS fishfinder unit.

Packaged well, and works just fine. The only down fall is the self tapping screws wouldn't get into my bracket.
My original one broke off the boat and this was the same as the one that came with my Garmin Echo 550c. Works great.
