Costa Farms, Home Décor, Premium Live Indoor Boston Fern, Nephrolepis exaltata, Hanging Plant in 10-Inch Grower Container, Shipped Fresh From Our Farm, Excellent Gift

My fern came today. I had NO IDEA how big this fern would be! I've bought several plants through Amazon and they have all been dinky little things, but when this fern loosened up from the shipping box and got a drink and some sun, HOLY MOLY! It's a good 2.5 feet across with long, lush, rich beautiful full green fronds. It's absolutely gorgeous and very healthy. My only complaint is that I don't have a bigger house so I could buy more!!

I ordered this fern by mistake, I thought it was an artificial fern. You can imagine my surprise when I opened it up and thought "oh a real fern" I'm going to kill this one too.
I have always had trouble with real ferns dropping their leaves difficulty watering them I never had a fern that had leaves this long. All I do is stick it in the sink once a week. It is absolutely beautiful. It took about two months for the leaves to get this long and I have had no dropping leaves, which was a problem with other ferns that I bought at Home Depot or Lowe's.

Just received my Boston fern today and I am so happy with the condition it arrived in! I was skeptical about reviews and nervous about getting a plant in the mail at the end of January in NJ but it looks great and so much bigger than I expected. I couldn't be happier!

Ok so my review is 5 stars because the plant I received was lush, full, healthy and really big and gorgeous. However, I had trouble with the upkeep. Maybe I don't have the right lighting conditions in my apt but slowly...the plant began to shred...lose its little leaves. I spritzed it...I talked to it...I moved it around my NYC apartment but nothing worked. This plant, in my humble opinion, is tricky. If you know what you are doing and you have the right conditions in your home then great. If not, prayers won't help. Again...5 stars because the plant itself and the shipper were great.

Very nice. Pakaged well. I just had to water and it looks great today outdoors! A good size..not overly large and not small. I like that it came with the hanger to hang.

I was hesitant to believe these plants would meet my standards. However, they EXCEEDED them in every way! I'm so impressed by the size and quality. They came out of the box a bit crumpled (although very carefully packaged), but it only took a watering and a few hours to bring them back to a vibrancy which surpassed expectation. They're currently thriving on my patio and I look forward to years of joy in the future. Thank you for the beautiful plants!

Plant was shipped very carefully and arrived in great condition. Very healthy. would order again if needed.

I'm satisfied with the quality of the fern. It looks nice and full. It's larger than expected which is nice.

However, the box came pretty badly crushed and torn, most likely from shipping. The fern survived so it's okay.

I did run through an identification guide and found that this most likely isn't a Boston fern. It's more likely a Christmas fern or a Northern Holly fern. This makes a slight difference because I bought this as a gift for an environmental scientist. However, it looks good and there isn't much difference. Just something to keep in mind.

Absolutely PERFECT PLANT. Packed PERFECTLY, not one blemish or damaged/dry leaf. Absolutely stellar condition! Blown away to get a living plant shipped so perfectly. Its hearty and I’m grateful to not only receive such a “PERFECT” plant aesthetically, but a strong, well-cared for plant, which was simply ready to enjoy. It didn’t need rescuing at removal from shipping box, as I’vd had happen from other sellers in the past. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DELRAY PLANTS - my first purchase, but far from my last!

I've never ordered living plants through Amazon especially during the Chicago winter. I was really worried they wouldn't make it through the cold. Despite that, I decided to take a chance. I've looked at various local plant stores in Chicago and they were very expensive. I was blown away at the quality and size of these ferns! I wanted ferns to help clean the air in my loft condo. I have 16 ft ceilings and I have large windows throughout that give the place ample natural light. I've been looking for ideas to fill the space above my cabinets and someone suggested plants. After some research, ferns were the best choice. I can't rave enough about how happy I am with my choice. I took some pictures. Keep in mind these were taken at night. During the day, they look even better!

Hen and Chicks Succulents (3 Pack) Live Sempervivum Houseleek Succulent Rooted in Planter Pots | Flowering Geometric Rosette Plant by Plants for Pets

Hen and Chicks Succulents (3 Pack) Live Sempervivum Houseleek Succulent Rooted in Planter Pots | Flowering Geometric Rosette Plant by Plants for Pets

Bought this along with some other succulents from the same seller. They grouped them in one box (which I loved, they packaged them super carefully. ) There were TONS of babies, most of which already had roots. Beautiful and healthy plants.

What a pleasant surprise! I purchased these because I have a love for succulents, work in animal rescue, and this captures all of that! The plants arrived beautifully and safely boxed with soft, fluffy material protecting the plants. I even received an extra plant just in case something wasn't 100% right with the plants I ordered.

The plants are healthy, vibrant, and just perfect. They are now planted in a succulent tapestry and are thriving. I will definitely order again knowing part of my purchase will be used to help animals in need.

First off, these are gorgeous plants. They were packed very well and look really healthy! And, they arrived almost exactly 24 hours after I ordered them! However...I didn't see the image that shows the size of the plant, which is a 2 inch pot, and that info is not in the text of the description, just in the image. I thought I was purchasing lager pots. That's *totally* my error. If you're looking for plants of this size, do not hesitate to purchase from this seller! So even though these probably won't grow large enough for my project anytime soon, I cannot give these less than a 5 star rating because they're really great!

The plants are perfect. Beautiful. They were packed in a thick web of synthetic stivky web like material. I spent 20 minutes with tweezers maticulously removing it. Even so, i broke some chicks off in the process :( and some webbing is still stuck into the plants. please dont use this packing stuffing! Please.

Arrrived much smaller than I thought. These are tiny and weren’t in great shape. However the seller resent new ones that arrived looking robust and beautiful. Thank you!

I love these little plants, I am going to make a terrarium with them. They arrived in less than a week.

Arrived quickly, in good health and with soil only slightly moist which is PERFECT. They sent extra preemptively in case any were damaged. None were. All are beautiful!
The fibers surrounding the plants are a bit time consuming to remove completely, but well worth the time considering the great condition the plants arrived in.

I understood the succulents were small, it was described clearly in the advertisement and I had purchased some last year. They were packaged well and were healthy but pretty and I like to watch plants grow, so was satisfied, I have planted these and they appear to be thriving.Would probably purchase more but would like them to be a little larger. I still think they were a good value and they shipped fast and were in good shape when received, made good border plants

Received the plants this afternoon. I was so excited to open the box and was not disappointed. The plants were beautiful, fresh and healthy. Good price too. I received 4 plants instead of 3. Maybe for just in case. Thank you. Highly recommend. Will buy again from this seller.

these are doing great in my back garden, they are a dark red/brown right now, we've had a lot of rain though here. When I had them in the house the cats would keep rubbing on them.

Garmin DriveSmart 61 NA LMT-S with Lifetime Maps/Traffic, Live Parking, Bluetooth,WiFi, Smart Notifications, Voice Activation, Driver Alerts, TripAdvisor, Foursquare

Garmin DriveSmart 61 NA LMT-S with Lifetime Maps/Traffic, Live Parking, Bluetooth,WiFi, Smart Notifications, Voice Activation, Driver Alerts, TripAdvisor, Foursquare

UPDATED Aug 12th 2017:

Love the capacitive touch screen and size. Display is really nice compared to my older Nuvi 1450LMT which this new Garmin replaced. Everything is clear and easily readable, even from various angles. Unit is fast and responsive with no noticeable lag during various operation.

Voice command works good for basic commands, ok. It's hit and miss with street addresses however.
The per-installed American voices: American English Michelle & Samantha are lacking. Samanatha is the only option of the two that speaks "Garmin Real Directions". Her voice sounds odd and does not pronounce easy words correctly. Michelle sounds the best but only gives basic guiding like "Turn Left"...
Volume level is quite good and it does have an option for auto volume level to compensate for road noise. However, I have the auto volume level control enabled and it does not work. I hear no change in volume with windows open or closed, radio off or on.

Unit stays cool. No overheating issues. Would have preferred a magnetic mount for this rather than the round plastic snap-in type it comes with. The newer round type mount is annoying. Sometimes I actually end up pulling the mount off the ball when removing the unit.

Have only used Bluetooth connection with phone a few times just to test it out as I really don't need traffic info where I live. I do not use (or need) the Foursquare or the TripAdvisor apps.
I think I read on some forum that perhaps you can use a Garmin HD Charger/Traffic receiver with this and it works fine.

Unit has around 16GB of main memory. About half of that is available for personal use (after deleting unused voice files) and worry free map update sizes that will fit without the need for an SD card.

Wifi update works well. Updated Software and Maps fairly quick on a good network. A bug I found was the unit said (had the highlighted download arrow) I had an update available but when trying to update, it would then say "No updates Available"... I turned the wifi off the unit then back on and tried again, and it worked.
Make sure you turn off the wifi and/or Bluetooth when not in use because it consumes more power on battery use.

Unit will auto power off and on if your power plug/port powers on/off with vehicle.

You can put your saved points/addresses into categories which makes it easier to look for certain stored items without having to look through an entire combined list. One of the things that I do not like is the plain square flat greenish map symbols that have replaced the previous multicolored shaped ones. It would have been nice to see at least a better variety and color options.

Using Garmin Express to update features... there are no other American voices that speak "Real Directions" I did not see any male voices either. No other add-ons like Map Symbol Icons or ecoRoute like the Nuvi has.

One thing that puzzles me is that if you put in an SD card that you have your backed up gpx files on (stored points/addresses) it copies them into the main internal memory automatically. Remove the SD card and all that info is now available internally... So to me, whats the point of having an SD card if it just dumps everything into the internal memory anyways? Should at least have an option for this.

Garmin should make all its GPS's with the glass touch screen with capacitive touch. I probably would have bought the 51 LM if it had the glass screen as this one. The only other option is the more expensive Garmin DriveLuxe 51 NA LMT-S.
I don't really see a need for the FourSquare and TripAdvisor apps and I will never use them on a GPS.

The Alerts system I don't really care for in it's current state. You can turn on/off selected alerts, but it only turns off the audio tone. You still get an on screen alert via on orange bar at the top... I don't need to know I am about come to a railroad crossing. Some may need this depending on where you live and your ability to properly read road signs. I can stop right on an abandoned rail crossing from the 70's and it will either pop up with a warning window I have to manually close or say that it is still 20ft ahead...
This really needs to be fixed along with the accuracy. Speed signs are not as quick to update like on the Nuvi 1450...not sure of the reason why.

The routing algorithm it uses is ridiculous at times. I do not think they have improved much in this area... It still picks weird routes when you know the once you usually take is the better choice regardless of its settings of Shorter or Faster calculation.

Overall I am happy after using it for a few months. After taking it on several trips I have decided to keep it.

The animated split screen when a junction is coming up telling you which lane to be in or which lanes you can be in is... quite awesome.

I still think the price paid was a little on the high side. I have even plugged in the ol' Nuvi 1450lmt and used it at times.

If you want a really nice and easy to read 6 inch+ screen that offers easy input with capacitive touch, then this would be the unit to buy.
If not, I would consider another unit that's not quite as expensive but will still get the job done.

I purchased the Evecase Portable Case Bag Cover with Extra Front Pocket 5-Inch...It actually fits this unit well even though it says it is for a 5 inch GPS... Just about the same Internal dimensions as the 61 LMT-S.

I read multiple reviews trying to get a good idea about this item. Unfortunately, there are so many people out there writing FALSE REVIEWS that it makes it very difficult to depend on this system altogether. Many complained about the audio, saying it was impossible to understand. I served 30 years in the military and have significant hearing loss, but I can understand EVERYTHING that the GPS says, without exception. I have to believe that those complaining about the audio are FAKE, probably being paid by other companies to try and downgrade Garmin. The download of initial updates did take quite a while (11 hours on wifi), but it finished without a hitch, and the maps, directions, instructions etc. are absolute PERFECT. If you are looking for a quality, dependable GPS, I highly recommend this one.

Cool gps. I don't have to plug it to my pc or laptop for updates. Just connect it to the wifi.

Absolutely love this product. Have had numerous Garmins before and this is the best yet. I almost didn’t buy after reading other reviews - glad I decided to give it try.
Just travelled from California to the East coast (made a wide circle so I didn’t have to travel the same route back) and it worked great. The warning header that people had issues with did not bother me. The screen is so big that it didn’t interfere with the directions and views - just helped keep me more alert.
One review noted that you had to buy the traffic cord that goes to the Garmin for $50. Thanks to that, I purchased separately. Also, to use traffic alerts you need to download the app and pay a five dollar a month subscription fee. Not a big issue - I paid for two months while on cross country trip and then cancelled.
I found this product to be a good fit for what I was looking for. Very easy to use - I didn’t need directions. As I said, have had a few Garmins before and a little playing around with it and it set up nicely with no issues.

The size of this GPS is good, as we use it for travel in our motorhome (rather than the RV model). It is very clear and easy to see as colors are distinct. I like the warnings / notifications it gives for curves ahead, RR crossings, upcoming speed zones, etc. The volume is good and I have no issue with female voice assigned, as others have expressed. The only two irritants I have come across are 1) using voice command, which I really like, the GPS voice recognition has a lot of difficultly with certain words. Example: looking for Bandon, Oregon ends up somewhere in Florida??? This happened multiple times with different cities, so Garmin needs to do some work on voice recognition. 2) I'll be driving along and suddenly, the brightness of the unit decreases significantly. Checking brightness setting shows the unit at 70%, but in reality brightness is about half that. Often, turning the unit off, then back on will reset to original level of brightness. There must be a simple fix, but I have not stopped and taken the time to play around with the unit to figure out what is going on. Overall I am pleased with the unit. Big updates can take 3 - 5 hours, so need to plan ahead on doing this - not right before heading out the door. The wifi setup is simple and works well, depending on speed available to you. Overall, I think a person would be happy with this unit.

From hands-free calling and live traffic information to Built-in Wi-Fi and more -the future is on your Garmin. Just look ahead and drive.

This DriveSmart unit needs 12 DC to operate unlike previous units that operated from your computer. This item will do that job. "AC to DC Converter, Cooolbuy 8.5A 102W 110-220V to 12V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket AC/DC Power Supply Charging Adapter". This is available from Amazon for about $16.00. Without this you will not be able to update maps other than from your vehicle.

I have had several Garmin units but this one is the best by far. On a recent trip from San Diego to Phoenix it was extremely accurate even over dirt roads and the display is super bright. Directions are easy to follow and I had no problem giving verbal commands. I do not use a smart phone so I have the Garmin GTM 60 HD Digital Traffic Receiver which is an extra charge of about $60.00. The Traffic Receiver seemed to work well but I did not run into any traffic on my trip :(

I've used this GPS for a year now and it is much better than my old Navicon and TomTom units. However it is not perfect. In both Hawaii (Oahu) and Florida it occasionally wanted me to go off road. I'm also not sure the "Avoid Toll roads" option was always accurate in Florida (some areas were doing construction so perhaps the tolls were waived but I'll know in a few months if I get charges in the mail). Also it wanted me to jump over a traffic island after exiting from a highway to try and get to the left turn lane to go to the WDW Old Key West resort (had to drive several miles to get to the resort because the GPS tried to take me on an illegal route). I haven't figured out yet how to contact Garmin to make map corrections so others aren't lead astray (a future homework project). To be fair though the WDW Florida area is always growing and changing so it is probably hard for Garmin and other GPS manufacturers to keep up with the changes. Still it would be nice if they implemented some sort of voice command feature that would allow the driver to hands free make a note to Garmin that this spot on the route has a problem or needs updating.

I love the Voice Command feature! It really helps save a lot of typing! It usually finds what I'm looking for on the first try.

I've done firmware and map updates both over WiFi and connected to my laptop via USB. Both work reasonably well but Garmin could make this process better because it's a little slow and cumbersome. It would be nice if their software would give you a better feel on how long the updates will take and give you a real-time percentage of how much of the download/install process is complete.

I purchased an AC charger with the unit but was disappointed in that it doesn't charge the unit. I'm ordering a different AC charger to see if it will work. I like being able to fully charge my GPS at home before starting a vacation trip. The 12 volt car charger that came with the unit seems to work fine but Garmin needs to follow the Smartphone manufacturers and incorporate a better battery level display in their software so when you are driving down the road you can see what percentage of charge the battery has and if it is charging or not (most of the time I could not tell if the battery was charging or not).

I bought this to replace a smaller older model, and like it even better. The display is bigger, brighter, cleaner, and the navigation is excellent. I almost never get beyond its range of coverage, and I go to a lot of very remote places in the western US.

Soon after acquiring it I had to unexpectedly replace my truck, with a 2017 Ford F-150 that has built-in GPS. Halfway through a month-long driving trip I started using the Garmin again, and found that I prefer it to Ford's. The Garmin now sits atop a bean-bag mount in a depression on the dashboard. I use the Garmin for navigation and the built-in for all the infotainment applications.

A few interface quibbles -- I think it should be easier to mute the audible instructions, and to cancel the current destination.

My first Garmin, a Nuvi 1490LMT, lasted for 6 years, then decided to stop booting up. I tried some fixes I found on the web and got it running for a few days at a time, but it just kept dying. I gave up on it and ordered this one.
I had a little issue with the display on first unit and returned it. When I had an almost identical issue with the second unit, I was more than a little ticked. Then, I figured out it was my issue, not the Garmin's. This may help someone in the future who makes the same mistake.

I used an adapter to use the included car charger in the house so I could perform the software updates. The problem was that the output on my adapter was only 550-850 milliamps. This Garmin requires an input of at least 1 full amp; the included car charger's output is actually 2 amps. Anything lower and the display goes completely bonkers.
So, once I figured this out, the unit worked fine, phone syncs up, etc.

I had purchased the TomTom equivalent capability version and oh - my - gosh 😮, TomTom took a step into the past, also known as "backwards." It was very difficult to use and the screen features are too small, or just plain non-logical - SO I SENT IT BACK, BUT This Garmin system is an absolute home-run.

Nice large screen, voice command interaction (like using Alexa or Google Home Assistant). Easy touch-screen controls similar to the feel of a typical android tablet. Your incoming texts and emails are read out-loud for you at your prompting.

Excellent screen quality!! REAL picture of your exit ramps (unless a new building or bridge was just placed there)

I prefer my system mounted on my dash using the mounting disk. Some people refer the windshield or friction bag. If Amazon allows me to come back and edit, I will attach a pic of it installed.

Easily add a gas station or a specified drive break location detour without affecting your main trip route. ....Too much to praise and sing about in my opinion.

NO REGRETS. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

Oh, watch out for the default settings that avoids toll roads. That could cost you a 1000 extra miles to your destination if traveling from the south-east US to the noth-east US. (...but I caught it in time (an extra 70 miles, as I worked my way back to the intended route)

SoundBox Connected 4 Gauge Amp Kit Amplifier Install Wiring Complete 4 Ga Installation Cables 2200W

SoundBox Connected 4 Gauge Amp Kit Amplifier Install Wiring Complete 4 Ga Installation Cables 2200W

Very thick, high quality wire. Much thicker than what I needed for my application, but the other 8 awg kit was sold out, so I bought this and I don't regret it! Just make sure you find a good ground! The fuse was easy to wire up, and had multiple seals on it when you tighten everything down, so I'm not worried about water leaking in. The only complaint I have is that the terminal connectors were too small, but all it took was a drill and a file to make it fit. Good kit!

For the price it's a great kit. It includes everything needed to do a good clean install. My only flaw I don't care much for is the inline fuse holder. Feels like it could break if tightened too tight. I wish they would have included a smaller fuse than an 80 amp but not a big deal I can pick one up locally as well as a compacitor. I have a single 10 installed running an old school ppi amp bridged pushing 330 watts end and it draws so much juice my headlights will dim and on certain songs the car will die. Next upgrade will be an alternator and compacitor to help cure that problem. Over all good kit for the price just be careful with the inline fuse holder and not over tighten it to where it will break I recommend.

I've bought 2, one set to sub amp (running 2 ohm at 600w RMS) and the other to a 4 channel amp (100w per ch RMS). Coming off an Alpine at 18w RMS per ch to 6" Focals in front, 4 stockers in back, and a 12" sub in good size ported box. All in a Safari van. Not a huge system but sounds great to me! Just installed so no longevity report.
Pure copper instead of this 4gauge CCA will really cost. Home depot has wire for homes but by the book, autos should have thicker insulation. Many useless connectors and the others are cheap and usually need to be drilled out larger for batt and ground. Auto parts stores sell better but soon you're building your own kit. Speaker wires to the stock installed wires, like to a harness, don't need to be any thicker, or longer if the amp isn't miles away.
Do note only 1 pair (+ and -) RCAs. Fine for a single sub but will need another for stereo (2 channel). Walmart has em for $8-10.

I gave it five starts because it literally came with everything needed for an installation. The kit is cheap and it comes with cheap materials which isn’t always a bad thing. The red power wire was long enough to run from the battery down to the trunk area of my 2014 Mustang. The ground is very short so I had to improvise, but all worked at the end of the day.

Very cost effective wiring kit. Its not the highest quality wiring but works great for 800watts RMS.
The ring terminals feel cheap and thin, but they make a proper connection. Id suggest getting better ring terminals for the 4 gauge wire. The fuse holder works but its not my preference for fuse holders.
Plenty of length for my 2015 Hyundai Veloster

This kit was perfect for a large sedan made by GM. Every wire length was able to be used without any extra bundles.
The fuse that comes with this set is rated at 80amps so make sure if it is not the right one get the correct one as those are cheap by themselves.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived to find a very generous amount of 4 gauge wire and other quality wire. All the lugs/terminals you need are there, it's literally a turn key package. Only thing you'll need is a small Allen wrench for the inline fuse holder. Easy 5 stars, super fast shipping.

Looks like 4 gauge. Everything feels high quality can’t wait to test it.

Great price ,,,,,,,but double check that more installation parts are not needed before going to a shop cause they charge a lot more and once your in the door its hard to turn around and tell them you have to come back later after ordering more parts to let them hook it up ..........they probably would just raise there quoted install price anyway like they did me .

great quality wire and came with everything i needed to wire my subs. reason for the 4 star is because the quality of the fuse was lacking, seemed to not pinch or hold the wire tight enough and felt a little cheaper than what i expected. but that can be solved with some simple electrical tape. well worth the money.

Arlo Audio Doorbell - Wire-free, Smart Home Security, Weather-resistant, Works with Amazon Alexa (AAD1001)

Arlo Audio Doorbell - Wire-free, Smart Home Security, Weather-resistant, Works with Amazon Alexa (AAD1001)

Before purchasing several Arlo Pro cameras, we tried several video doorbells but none of them worked well in our particular location. So, we opted for the Arlo system instead. We are happy with the system as it gives us added surveillance a doorbell does not give. However, the audio 2-way setup on those cameras is really unusable.

Alas, an audio doorbell from Arlo to the rescue! It is very easy to install. It works with our inside chime (the other video ones did not). It has little to no audio lag. It rings your phone (s). It's loud enough to use! The doorbell is paired with an Arlo camera of your choice. We paired ours to a view of our front door. The doorbell has a motion sensor, so it triggers that camera. The camera feed is also on your phone while you're speaking to the person at your door! The sound is duplex and when you're done, you hit "end" on your phone. There are several message options you can deliver to the visitor. The visitor can also leave you a message. Very cool implementation. It was very easy to install, too.

For those of you concerned that it will count towards your 5 camera limit, Netgear says it will NOT. All conversations are recorded separately to the cloud as well.

UPDATE: 11/28: We exchanged the batteries for lithium phosphate ones as they are much better for colder temperatures. These were at 99% when first put in and after 2 weeks, they're still at 99%, whereas the stock batteries read 98% initially and dropped to 89% in a few weeks when the weather turned much colder.

I have my Arlo Doorbell paired with a camera at my front gate. It is about 100 feet away from from the base station and seems to be at the edge of the range of the system (it is supposed to be 300ft line of sight). The issue I’ve had with the range is more of a concern with the entire system than specifically with the camera though.

After getting the doorbell set up everything seems to work fine and the audio is clear. There is a short delay of a few seconds in the time it takes for someone to push the button to when your phone with the app rings. This is probably due to the system connecting through the home network to whatever cellular network your device is on, but having that convenience is an acceptable trade off for the delay.

The biggest con I have with this is the fact that Arlo only offers a replacement of stolen doorbells to people who have a subscription. Ring doorbell seems to offer this to anyone who buys their device. I can understand not providing that type of loss coverage for the cameras since you can put them in concealed or out of reach locations. But a doorbell has to be readily presented to anyone coming to your front door. So anyone can steal this one in a matter of a few seconds with just a small screw driver. If they offered that coverage this would have five stars.

There are several other differences with this one and the Ring, and I say differences instead of disadvantages because it depends on your situation and your needs. The biggest is there is no camera on the Arlo doorbell. Some might see this as a con but I actually like this because it presents a level of ambiguity about what is happening and what camera is recording when someone pushes the button.

If you already have an Arlo system I highly recommend this doorbell. If not, I would look at this compared to the Ring doorbell and just figure out which system suits your situation best. If you can afford it, I would also recommend looking into a professionally installed and managed system. But Arlo and Ring are the cheapest I would put on my network. Anything less and the security vulnerabilities start increasing.

Simple, easy to install ... I cleaned up the spot with paint and refilled the holes of the SkyBell I had ... it seems to be very liable, makes all my iOS device to react when pressed, really awesome

Price is very reasonable. Was easy to setup and the function is seamless. Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying that this is a really good product. It is somewhat unconventional in that it does not follow the normal practice of having a camera embedded into the doorbell. Instead it links a camera in your Arlo system to it.

Pros
- comes with everything you need to install it including a screwdriver.
- motion sensing works well
- integrates well with existing wired door chimes.
- smartphone app support including duplex voice comms
- pre-programmed responses to doorbell press
- does not count towards your camera total
- can be used as a panic button for home security or elderly monitoring

Cons
- smallest screwdriver head is the wrong size (too big)

- no provision for if wiring does not come directly out of wall
If (like me) your legacy doorbell cabling needs to be fed in from one side, the doorbell isn't particularly suited to doing this. Basically, it won't mount flat on the wall surface. This means that you either need to dig a channel into the wall or find a way to raise it off the surface so that you can pass the cables beneath. I'm sure that as time passes, various vendors will develop these. Personally a few hours with a CAD package & my 3D printer sorted the problem.

- if using notification on motion, doesn't do anything than just that
If you link a camera with the doorbell, its possible to have a scenario where the doorbell detects motion but the camera doesn't because its located too far away. In this circumstance, it would be nice if the doorbell could trigger camera recording.

- documentation for legacy doorbell wiring switch settings is confusing
Effectively this has been dumbed down too far. In NZ we don't have either of the scenarios outlined in the manual. So, it came down to "best guess" which turned out to be wrong. Basically the switch setting determines whether the contacts will operate in Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO) mode.

- cannot individualise smartphone ringing when doorbell pressed
As my smartphone is set to "bell ringing" (like a bell phone), having doorbell calls also bell ring is confusing. The only way to determine the difference is to look at the screen before answering.

- quite audible "off-hook" sound immediately after pressing doorbell
As a telephone engineer, I understand what is occurring however my industry knowledge also means that I know that this is excessive.

- Integration into Android app is disjointed
Its almost as if two different divisions (camera & doorbell) developed the integration into the app. The doorbell definitely has a different layout in the app compared to the cameras. Perhaps they'll address this in a future version of the app.

- can not initiate voice comms from the app like a camera
Voice comms only works once the button has been pressed. If someone is loitering around your door but hasn't pressed the button, then I guess you're plain out of luck.

- doorbell surround flashes when motion detected
Apart from the fact that it uses battery power, it's also a visual indication to an intruder that they've been detected. Of course it could be that that is the intended point. But still a choice would be nice.

Lastly I would note that the doorbell has only been recently released so I'm sure that there many enhancements & bug fixes yet to come. Then of course, I'm certain that the folks at Arlo are also hard at work developing the Doorbell Pro as we speak.

Arlo audio doorbell - wire-free, smart home security, weather-resistant, works with Amazon Alexa (AAD1001)

Already had Arlo Pro setup so this was a natural. Voice message functionality is cool and I like being able to decide where the camera is mounted independent of the doorbell. Now that Amazon has added to the Arlo Skill (It shows up in devices) you can set it up to have a notification on all your Alexa devices when the doorbell is pushed. Waiting on the Arlo Chime. Hope they add ability to activate camera on Echo Show when doorbell is pushed with two way audio. Recommended.

For me it is a five star even though some improvements have to be made in its software. Let's begin by saying that this is not a solutions for anyone, knowing this will avoid a lot of negative reviews.

1. This is a complement for an user that already has ARLO cameras installed home. if you do not have an ARLO system and are happy or used to it, pass. Don't expect a miracle or a cheaper RING

2. If you are looking for the same of a RING system with lover storage costs. Go for the RING, because the ARLO doorbell is not RING, it is a complement for the cameras. this one does not records video by itself.

Pros:
-Easy to install, I have no problems installing, pairing and setting up
-Has a proximity sensor that lights the ring around the button to let the visitor know where to push or that the system detect the person (good for dissuading)
-Good quality sound, at least in my area
-Can leave preset messages
-Can answer with my cell phone even use video with my ARLO Camera located at a very good position at my doorway
-If I Do not answer the person who rings has the option to leave a message

CONS:
-Software needs to be improved. Motion sensor triggers video too late. It would be very good to have to option to manipulate the trigger delay

As I mentioned before, this system is intended as a complement for the ARLO cameras system, if you are expecting a RING system get one, this is not a cheaper RING

Will post latter on battery life.

I love it so far. Fast response, good audio. Been creeping out the neighbor kids that come to play with my daughter. Super effective. Make sure you set the chime switch properly; accidentally set it to digital which did weird things to my decades-old mechanical chime.

Response is good. Location free replies work. Have had to reset my base station every other day since installing; I literally never had to do that before. If the base station isn't locked up this is a solid solution.
Also added a Chime, so not sure if that or the Audio Doorbell is the culprit. I have confidence that these little issues will go away with a couple more firmware updates.

I like that I don't have to buy a service plan from Arlo for this to work. I have Arlo cameras and pairs up nicely with an existing system. Having no camera I thought it would be more responsive though. It takes about 30 min after pushing the button for the phone to ring. many times the person at the door leaves before I can answer it with my phone. Also have an elderly person in the house, the idea was that she could answer the door without having to rush to get up. The response time is a bit lacking. I've put up a little sign to allow 30 seconds for response before leaving, which has helped a lot. It will pair with an arlo camera which will notify you of someone at the door before the doorbell gets around to riding your phone. Its a nice concept, Needs a bit of work on response time.

Digital Voice Recorder,TENSAFEE 16GB Activated Sound Audio Recorder Dictaphone,Portable HD USB digital Recorder with Double Microphone Support TF Card 32G Expand for Lectures/Meetings/Interviews/Class

Good audio especially for the size! I use it in the car for anything that pops into my head. It's easy to use and picks up sound well.

This little recorder is so easy to use! I had another one of these but I feel like this one is much more user friendly!

I have purchased this for my son so he can use it for band and other school projects. The Digital Voice Recorder arrived quickly & in perfect condition. I am very happy with the quality of this product! It is sturdy enough for a teen boy to carry around with him in his back pack. Plus, it’s small enough to pop into his pocket to take with him to band lessons. Plus, it’s extremely easy to use.

Smaller then I expected but that doesn't matter because this thing is great. Great sound and came charged and have used it a lot and it's still on full battery. Get this you won't regret it

I like like that this is small and easy to use. It’s sleek and has a simple design. It fits in the palm of my hand. Good clarity but I’ve only used it inside my house. Good volume. I bought it bc my son tells funny bedtime stories and I just wanted to record it. Lol so it hasn’t been used with a lot of noise distractions. I also haven’t upload any of it to the computer to know if there easy or not. So far so good. It’s easy to use with any instructions needed

Thank you for using our company's portable voice recorder!

Great recorder for business meetings and more, very clear and I love the design, stilish and very professional looking!

My son who is 8 needed something easy to operate to help record at school and after school activities. This is easy for him to operate and offers him the option to listen back on the bus. My husband has asked for one for his car, as an easy way to record his ideas!

This unit is very compact but the recording is awesome. I used it during one of our company meetings and it worked flawlessly. I am very pleased.

I ordered this for my daughter to record her college lectures because she is not able to keep up with writing her notes in class. She asked for permission from her professors to record their lectures and it has been well received so far and her grades have gone from C's to A's.

I love this product! I had another voice recorder before and the quality wasn’t that great. This one works very flawlessly and the playback has excellent clarity! It is very sleek looking and sturdy as well.

GoPro HERO7 Black — Waterproof Digital Action Camera with Touch Screen 4K HD Video 12MP Photos Live Streaming Stabilization

GoPro HERO7 Black — Waterproof Digital Action Camera with Touch Screen 4K HD Video 12MP Photos Live Streaming Stabilization

The first six hours with this camera were frustrating and I'm a techy. Before you do anything disable WIFI Calling on phone and reboot then download the app and let it update the camera. Life is good after that.

Firstly the HyperSmooth setting is genuinely impressive. Even going down rough, rocky trails on a mountain the footage is shockingly smooth. I used the chest mount which worked very well. I did have a video sample on this review but it looked awful once uploaded. I guess it was whatever processing Amazon does to videos you upload as I uploaded the video to Youtube and Vimeo with no problems.

The stabilization in the TimeWarp (hyper lapse video) mode is not quite as good as in the HyperSmooth mode but works well. When I used TimeWarp while mountain biking it was watchable but a little rough. When I used it while on a road bike with was very smooth.

The SuperPhoto HDR setting in photo mode also works shockingly well. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the images it produces in the linear FOV with SuperPhoto turned on.

I haven’t had any of the connection and setup issues that others have noted. I have a Google Pixel 2 and was able to download the GoPro app, turn on the Camera, install updates, and have it up and running with no problems at all. I know it varies by iOS vs Android and what phone you are using, but if you have a Pixel 2, you shouldn’t have any issues. Hopefully. I didn’t anyway. Cross your fingers.

My only negative thing to say so far is the battery life is not great. You may as well go ahead and buy at least one more battery and the multi-battery charger. Turning off wireless connections while filming definitely helped with battery life but on the other hand it is also really nice to use your phone to control it with using it.

All in all I really like it. I haven’t had a GoPro since they didn’t have touch screens. This is the first one with enough features to entice me back into the GoPro world. This one is easy to use. It produces good footage. It’s waterproof and rugged. I can use it as an action camera and as a small point and shoot travel camera. That is basically what I’ve been hoping a GoPro could be at some point and I feel like this one actually delivers on that.

I have never owned a GoPro before this HERO7 Silver, so I cannot comment on how it compares to previous models. I am reviewing this camera as a GoPro novice: how the setup went, what the camera can do, how the Silver differs from Black and White models. The first thing that struck me about the GoPro is its size: 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 x 1 inch. I read the specifications, but it's startling to see a multi-featured video camera that fits easily in the palm of my hand. GoPro offers a downloadable product manual, but I found the best source of guidance to be YouTube videos about getting started with your GoPro. The first things you need to do are: charge the camera and install a micro SD card from GoPro's list of recommended cards. You do both of these things via the panel on the left side of the camera. Using a 32GB micro SD card, you get 2 hours 8 minutes of video at regular resolution, 1 hour 5 min at 4K resolution. Thirty minutes of video at standard resolution used 25% of the battery charge.

Setup did not go smoothly for me. The GoPro will not operate without having its firmware updated, so you can't get past the screen where it prompts you to install and pair to the app. You can update the firmware through the mobile app, the Qwik desktop app, or you can download the update to a computer manually. I chose to use the Qwik app for Mac. I plugged my camera into my computer via USB. It took about 30 minutes to download and install the firmware update. Then it said the camera could not be updated. I tried again without success. I wondered if the problem might be the camera battery, so I charged it. Apparently the update had been installed before. When I went though the setup on the camera again, it stopped on the page to install the app, but I was able to hit the back button and go to a page that allowed me to skip that step. So I was in. Be sure that the camera is fully charged before you attempt to install an update.

The GoPro is fairly simple to operate. Swipe down from the top to access Preferences. Swipe up from the bottom to access the videos and photos that you have recorded. Swipe side to side to switch between video, still photo, and time lapse photo (one frame every 0.5 seconds) modes. Or you can hit the power button on the right side of the camera to do this, which usually happens accidentally when I am trying to turn the camera off (hold the button down to turn off). The GoPro Silver offers two resolutions and aspect ratios for video: 4K video, which has a 16:9 aspect ratio (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 30 frames per second (fps) and 1440p video, which has a 4:3 aspect ratio (1920x 1440 pixels) at 60 fps. The default is 1440p; you can change to 4K with one tap on the screen. In the specifications, this camera also lists 1080p video as an option, but the camera actually records in 1440p 4:3 video that can then be cropped in the app to 1080p 16:9 video.

I don't do action sports. I am using this camera to videotape architecture, specifically the relationships between buildings, which don't show up well with a still camera. I need to move around and between the buildings. Some tips that will be obvious to an experienced user but not to a novice: If you take the camera out of its frame and hold it with your hand, do so with your right hand. When holding the camera with my left hand, my finger was often in the picture. To avoid this problem, you could leave the camera in its frame and hold it by its mounting buckle. That is a little uncomfortable. GoPro wants to you buy something to hold the camera: a Shorty, which is a telescoping poll and mini-tripod, or, if you will be using the camera around water, the Handler, which floats. Another tip: The default setting causes the screen to go dark in one minute to conserve power. This isn't helpful if you are handholding and trying to videotape what you see. This can be changed in Preferences.

The Silver model offers GoPro's standard image stabilization software. I wasn't bouncing around very much, but I was walking, going up and down stairs, and occasionally running. I found the stabilization to be pretty good. The video I shot is much smoother than that taken with the video mode on my Nikon DSLR, which is mighty shaky. One day I shot outdoors on a sunny, very contrasty, day with blown out highlights and deep shadows. That was inadvisable. The camera isn't horrible in those conditions, but it's not great either. It was grainy in low light when I zoomed in, but that is to be expected. There are two zooms available in 1440p mode (you cannot zoom in 4K). These are digital zooms, not optical zooms, so they are just crops. You are getting the equivalent, in 35mm film camera terms, of 15mm (no zoom), 23mm (mid-zoom), and 35mm (full zoom). I was a bit disappointed that I could not get a "normal" (50mm) zoom, and a digital zoom is less than ideal.

After I shot my videos, I wanted to view them. I used the Qwik desktop app. The GoPro splits all video in to 4GB "chapters" due to limitations of the memory card's file system. Inconvenient, as I was shooting long videos, but, at standard resolution (1440p), 4GB was 17:40 minutes. The videos went into a "GoPro" folder that was created in my Pictures folder, but you can manually change the destination folder in Qwik's settings. You can view the videos in Qwik, or, you can double-click them in their folder to play in the video software of your choice. Qwik also allows you to make clips, rotate, grab a photo from video, or Adjust Gauges, which requires that you had the GPS data enabled on your video. You can choose to add Speed Tracker (a line graph), GPS Path, Speedometer, and G-Force to display over your video image. Tip: If you rename your video files, Qwik will not recognize them. You will need to go to Settings and, under Media Folders, click "scan" in order to locate the files again.

I do not favor using the mobile app, as I don't have a lot of space on my phone. I installed it on my iPad, however. I had no luck getting it to pair with my camera using Bluetooth. I was able to pair it with wifi without any hitches, but be sure your mobile device and your camera are on the same band. The default on the camera is 5GHz. You can watch stored videos from your camera or from the Cloud on the app, but the neat feature is that you can watch what the camera is seeing in real time if you are in range.

The GoPro Silver also takes 10MP still photographs, and it automatically employs its wide dynamic range (WDR) feature that pulls more detail out of shadows. Still images are 3648 x 2736 pixels with an aspect ratio of 4:3. If you like, you can take photos continuously at rate of 4 per second by holding shutter button or 15 frames per second by choosing burst mode. There is also a self-timer, and you can activate voice control to tell the camera to take a picture without needing to have your finger on the shutter button. Voice control works reliably and can be activated with the touch of a button when you swipe down from the top of the screen. See the user manual for a list of commands.

If you are wondering why buy the Black model or why not buy the White, these are the major differences: The HERO7 Black offers optional RAW format for still photos. It has a removable battery. It uses Hypersmooth image stabilization, which is supposed to be better than standard. Watching YouTube videos comparing the two, I think Hypersmooth is better for certain types of movement and not others. SloMo slows movement down by 8x in Black rather than 2x in the Silver. Black is compatible with dive housing that allows it to be waterproof to 60 meters (197 feet) rather than the 10 meters (33 feet) on its own. Black offers far more choices in frame rate, field of view, and resolution. HERO7 White does not offer 4K video or WDR for still photos, and does not have GPS capabilities, so no GPS stickers, etc.

SOLID 4 Stars, if firmware update the jerk from filming a wide panoramic recording (left to right), then I would rate is a 4.5 Stars. I guess as an action cam design, it was not intended to record side ways. I owned a HERO5 with the Karma Grip and sold it the day they announced the HERO7. I never played with the HERO6, so I’ll be comparing the HERO5 and HERO7.

The menu works much much better, very smooth and very intuitive. As for the WiFi, I didn’t find any issues. If you have a HERO5 or HERO6 you already know how to connect through WiFi. Maybe the people complaining are new to the HERO 5/6/7 family.

Main usage will be family vacation, running(half marathon), hiking, snowboarding and snorkeling, so the built in stabilizer is more than enough to skip the need of a gimbal. Now you can downsize your travel gear And have more room/weight for other things.

The only drawback which is not a deal breaker, is you can’t playback 4K on your phone through the iPhone app because file size too large unless you download it to your phone (very slow and you can’t do anything else while downloading).

Photo included is straight from GoPro HERO7 without any editing.

Solid feel, extremely good color. Not really a need to color correct in post. Cost: Consider what the original GoPro cost and compare those features against the current (7) features. More features, less cost. Even my $2,000 DSLR can't produce (out of the camera) a quality image as good at this GoPro Hero 7 produces.

Well, first of all I have to say that this is my first GoPro I ever had and I really surprised in the good meaning of what it capable to do! On my opinion this is the best action camera ever made! I been doing researches and comparison with Sony 3000 4k action cam and I bought Sony cam at two reasons:
1. I own Sony as20 action cam for many years and it never ever gave me any troubles and picture quality always was outstanding!
2. They bought me on optical stabilization and juicy picture of Somy3000. But that camera came to me already defective right out of the box (didn’t record sound!) !
So I was supposed to send it back and decided to go with GoPro7. My choice was definitely right! The very first thing I noticed that the GoPro has huge advantage in having awesome touchscreen with easy to navigate menu and much better battery slot. But real miracle is hyper-smooth video stabilization! So, will definitely keep it instead of Sony cam!

Screen can be finicky at times, battery life is horrible but other than that a very worthy upgrade. Compared to previous generations the Go Pro to App connection is much quicker and less of a hassle.

I have owned a Go Pro 5 Session with Evo GP Pro Gimbal and by all means the Hero 7 Black is NOT better or equal in terms of stabilization compared to a Gimbal . With that said..the Hero 7 Black is the closest you will get in terms of smooth stabilization without a Gimbal and if you’re not a professional videographer etc this is a must have action camera! As an avid traveler I want smooth videos without dragging along more weight and components and The Hero 7 fits the bill perfectly! With a Gimbal it’s so smooth at times you get videos with unnatural movements, with the Hero 7 the Hypersmooth stabilization smooths out your video without looking unnatural.

Now all I have to take on my travels are my Hero 7 and Shorty stick.

Its awsome for adventures. Only gripe I have is that you cant actually shut it off if you leave wifi on. Its stays alive and battery dies quickly.

This is my first GoPro, after reading all the negative reviews of the Hero 7 Black I went with the silver. Mainly to save the extra $100. So far so good, I have it mounted on my center console on my boat. Video is super smooth and clear on the 1080p setting. I have not tried 4k as of now - I do not have a 4k compatible TV or computer. Pictures are OK. They will not be DSLR quality but then again this is made for action videos. I will update review after a few weeks of playing with it.

The only downfall right now is that GoPro nor any 3rd party companies make a waterproof housing for the silver/white just yet. I know its waterproof and it works well. Sometimes you just want some added protection. Not a deal breaker.

Had issues with the connection between my phiand camera but resolved it after an hour. The camera heat's up and may have to return it and get a replacement because of it. The battery doesn't last long. Overall an okay sports camera that is probably more hype. Never owened previous models.
