I was a little hesitant to grab an extra power supply for my Xbox One, as I've heard that aftermarket non-OEM power supplies cause issues, can lead to overheating, can potentially damage the console, etc.
I decided to bite the bullet and grab this one, it arrived quickly and I gave it a test run over the weekend. It performed perfectly, my Xbox never experienced any issues or heat build up, this power supply was very quiet and it performed just as well as my OEM Microsoft adapter. Now it serves as my travel adapter; if I ever take my Xbox on vacation, this is the one that goes with it.
If you're on the fence about this, as I was, it is worth the money and so far I am really pleased!
Works great. Such a relief. My original power brick was making a high pitched squeal. My ears are saved! Comes with everything you need. 3 prong power cable in comparison to the original which is a 2 prong. So if you're hoping to use your old cords for this, that won't work. You shouldn't need to since it comes with everything you need. They also sent two free sets of joystick covers.
Fast shipping. Well packaged.
After 2 years of having my Xbox all of a sudden my console would turn off randomly. This product was the perfect fix, and with it being half the price of the Microsoft version a great deal. I will say that there is a slight buzzing noise but nothing major. I would strongly suggest the super quiet version because I don't think any more noise from the power brick would be suitable for gaming. Again it's great and I strongly suggest this power brick for anybody with Xbox power problems
We were having problems with the X-box One (described below), and this power brick saved the day. Our X-box One is working great again!
Here's a quick description of the problem, maybe this will help someone else: We've owned our X-box One less than 2 years. Just long enough to be out of warranty. Recently, it would only startup intermittently. It would try to startup, get to the load screen, then just shut off. I would walk through Microsoft's help procedure to reset the console and the power brick, and if I was lucky, the X-box might startup fully after 5-10 tries. I was starting to believe that it was actually the beginning of a more serious hardware failure inside the console itself. After researching online, I found similar symptoms were attributed to the power brick failing. I was discouraged when I saw Microsoft charges $60 for a replacement. That is a lot of money to try something that may or may not fix the issue. When I saw this one, I felt $30 was a good enough value to risk giving it a try. I'm very happy with the result.
Additional remark about noise: I noticed several reviews stating that this power brick is very loud. I don't want to discount their issues, but thought I would provide my own observations. Our console reading a disk makes more noise than the power brick. I can't tell a difference in noise between this one and the original one when my X-box was new. Hope that helps someone!
The positive reviews win! My son's xbox one power supply kept shutting off unpredictably. We struggled for weeks thinking it was the xbox itself and then the overdrawn power outlet, flipped breakers, etc. Big duh that we didn't think to check the power supply itself! It is still covered under warranty but I decided to check out Amazon's reviews and discovered that many gamers had the same problem with the original brick. We have now had it a month and there are no issues and there are no shutdowns and there is no teen ripping his hair out because his game cut out in the middle of a Madden Football touchdown! THANK YOU!

Works just as advertised. Nice replacement for a broken official one.
I've been using this power supply since December (4 months at the time of this review) and it has worked flawlessly ever since. It looks just like the original except of the xbox logo which is missing. It does make a sound all the time but is practically unnoticeable. Excellent cheaper alternative than the original brick.
I was hesitant to order a replacement on Amazon after lack of reviews and mixed feedback. Ordered this one and it works fine. No problems. Thank you.
Was having an issue of my Xbox One not powering on. When I hit the power button it would chime and then turn off. I would have to unplug all the power cables and reset the power brick anywhere from 20-50 times to get the power brick light to turn white and then turn on my xbox. I youtubed countless videos, and none of them worked. I tried taking the power brick apart cleaning it, using a different cable, sticking in the cable to the back of the power brick halfway and wiggling it to try and discharge the static, none of that worked only hoping that after enough times of resetting the brick it would turn on. Ive had this for a month and it works perfectly would not recommend going to gamestop and paying 70 dollars when this is a perfect replacement.
Item as described. Can't beat it for the price. Glad I didn't have to spend 60 bucks on an OEM power supply which burnt out on me.
