Great surprise for my boyfriend! I was questioning whether to get the One S or the One X and ultimately picked the One S because of my guy’s game preferences - he likes Madden and Fortnight but only the occasional FPS. Great speed and picture no matter what he plays.
It’s great that it has Netflix and Hulu and all of those fun apps built in. Super easy to stream anything we want.
Let me start by saying that ive never owned an xbox. I had originally bought a playstation pro. I wanted a device that would do 4k and gaming. I returned the playstation once i realized it only streamed in 4k. Ive now had the xbox for a week and i'm hooked. The free 3 month's of game pass that's included is awesome, i don't think i could go without it. Streams beautifully, plays discs beautifully, im highly satisfied! I was worried that the device would be noisy like my old ps3, but i can't hear it even standing next to it. I don't think I'll ever go back to playstation.
Bought new from Target, then the Amazon Prime Deal of the Day came out the next day and was $75 cheaper than Target! Target said they couldn't match the price, so we returned it and ordered this one. Can't believe we got this at such an amazing price! My kids love it!
Amazon Prime Day areal I am very happy more importantly the kids are happy. I recommend getting another genuine controller and rechargeable batteries for them. Also Kinect with adapter is the best for Just Dance game fun for the family.
I hadn't played in a while on my old 360 and when I tried, it got the overheat failure and would not clear. This one is great, cooler, and runs most of my 360 games. Now I can enjoy them and move onto better games.

The Xbox One S is working great and i have no complaints. The only reason I took away one star was because the Xbox box came in a larger amazon box and when i opened it i was surprised to not see any inflatable packaging material inside. The Xbox works fine with not problems so its not a big deal i just find it weird that when I order a $20 pair of headphones that don't even need protective packaging come come with so much of it but a $300 Xbox didn't come with any.
I recently bought this xbox one S. I've had it for one week now and everything runs fine the systems are new, its not refurbished. Brand new from Microsoft, the 3 month gift cards both work, the game pass said it expired Christmas yet still worked to my pleasure along with the Gold membership. However, my main complaint is the box and the description say 1T when in fact its only 780.9GB. I noticed this after I set up the xbox, I checked the storage after downloading only 2 games and an app about 61 GB of data,it was already down to 780 I was confounded since 1T=1,000GB. After checking the storage there is nothing else on it that is taking storage other than my 2 games and an app.
The main reason I purchased the Xbox One is I needed a 4k Blue-Ray player. And the unit shines in that functionality playing my 4k content with full surround flawlessly. I highly recommend springing for MS Remote control as well (don't get a cheap generic). I can also use some of the free apps to view content that I either plug in via USB or stream from my NAS (Western Digital Mycloud Network Accessible Storage). On top of the main things I purchased this unit for, it also works great with streaming media apps. you can even web browse from this. And lastly, as a further added bonus you can play games on this too! I can play some of my Xbox 360 games with improved graphics and smoothness. And Xbox one native games look and sound great. And all this in a package that cost me less than what a stand along 4k player would have cost me (I saved money getting this on Prime Day). On a side note you also have built in Wireless so no dongle or attachments required for that. You can also run your cable box into the Xbox One and use the built in guide which works great and in some cases has more program information than from your provider. You can also optionally get a digital TV tuner and watch over the AIR TV as well. All and all this is a good all around package and reasonably priced even when you're not saving money on Prime Day.

This Xbox One S 1TB unit is a great XBox. My family really enjoys it. We had a challenge with the parental controls and settings up Fortnite. There is no easy way to figure out what privacy you can keep in place to play Fortnite in any mode. It would be better if there was an easy way to set up the privacy for a particular game or type of experience. It would also like there to be a way to play against the computer with some of the privacy settings in place. But that doesn't exist. But the XBox still gets a 5 star review because once it's set up, it is a lot of fun.
