This COOLUX UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL FOR ALL SAMSUNG SMART TVS (LCD LED HDTV 3D) works perfectly with my 2018 Samsung QN55Q7F flat 55” QLED smart TV. All the Coolux remote needs is two AAA batteries (not included).
The remote works exactly the same as my Samsung brand remote that looks almost exactly the same (except for the brand name and the labels on a few buttons). Importantly, the on/off button, the hub button, the sources button, the navigational buttons, and the volume and channel controls all work perfectly with no setup required.
(I purchased the Samsung remote a few years ago; Samsung seems to have stopped making it.)
Works perfect with our Samsung Smart TV. We had to buy a replacement remote last week due to our new puppy. We ponied up the money for an authentic, Samsung brand remote. 1 day after it arrived, we found ourself needing another new remote thanks to our puppy. This remote is fantastic!!! I have an older model Samsung HDTV probably 8 years old, and this worked right out of the box!! ECSTATIC. On my particular TV, there is a slight two-3 second delay from POWER ON to the TV bleeping that it is on. I'm sure this varies by model perhaps, and I don't consider it a flaw. I mention it because when it did not come on instantaneously I thought something wasn't working (like my new batteries). Someone else might come on here and say the remote was broken on receipt. (Reviews are always subjective and only a piece of the story) It looks like what you would get from the dealer, in my opinion, this does not look or feel like a cheap replacement. I read a few reviews about overheating, and am glad I ignored them as ... 'consider the source' because unless I put a. the wrong type of batteries in, or bad batteries in, or misused it somehow, my remote is cold, all of the time, it never ever feels remotely warm ever. Also, consider where a person is purchasing from, Amazon? or another retailer then comes here to complain or report problems. Those problems belong on that retailer's site, or the manufacturers' site, in my opinion. Amazon has one of THE BEST RETURN policies out there if you don't like a purchase or something doesn't work send it back, you'll have your credit shortly after your UPS driver leaves the drive, pretty close. Anyone complaining he or she got stuck w anything or couldn't return something either kept it over 30 days or didn't purchase from Amazon.
Works on my 2008 Samsung LCD TV. The original remote for the tv had an always on backlight that would eat through batteries. This one worked great out of the box and has a toggle for the back light which is exactly what I needed. The feel is a little cheaper than the original but for the price I didn't expect more and works for what I need it for.

Was perfect we lost our remote in a move and this one is perfect. So easy to use. All I had to do was put the batteries in and it automatically connected to the TV. Buttons and nice and easy to read.
I have a Samsung Smart TV. I managed to break the little mousepad remote my TV came with. After some research I found out just how expensive they are. So I made do with a wireless keyboard for a while. One evening I realized that there must be a better way. So I started looking for a universal remote to replace the keyboard as well as the original remote (needed that one to turn on and off the TV). Its amazing what one gets used to instead of researching an item properly. I found this remote .. I remember those "universal remotes" from 20 years ago. So naturally I didn't hold my breath.

How did Universal Remotes become so easy to use?!! Just put in batteries & start using it. It doesn't get easier than that. I am wowed. There is no Programming no nothing. I don't know why I ever bothered with such a complicated mess before, thinking: that's just how it is.
Trust me its not. Buy this remote and your life will be so much better. Okay so maybe not your life. But your TV time will be. What a value to get my sanity back!! I can't Thank you guys enough for selling this product.
a bunch of the buttons are different than the authentic remote, and it doesn't have the same weight (it's lighter). But for us, it's been working fine for weeks. does exactly what it needs to do, and it's much better than using the one button on the TV to navigate (couldn't adjust volume while in netflix, for example). It's not genuine brand-name, but at a fraction of the cost of a brand-name replacement remote it couldn't be better.
I was so hesitant when I was ordering this remote control for my Samsung 55" 8000 Series that I bought in November 2016. After only a year, the right arrow on the original remote that came with my TV stopped working. I had to press really hard just to get it to work. I was pressing so hard that the OK button (middle button) get pressed instead. I contacted Samsung Chat Online and the guy I was chatting with said I can purchase the same new remote for $70. I was like, heck NO! So, last week, I decided to order this remote. As soon as I put batteries in this remote, it started working right away. I didn't have to program it or anything. For the price of $7.99, even if all the buttons didn't work, which by the way all functions work, it won't be too much a waste of money. Now, I don't have any problems scrolling to the right of any options or choices I have on my TV like I used to. The only difference is this remote doesn't have the 'talk' option like the original one, but that's ok with me since I don't really use that feature that much.
Point a and shoot. Zero setup needed. And because my LG sounds bar is plugged into my Samsung TV via optic cable, it controls that also. Yay!! Way too many buttons though. Woof!
