I am really happy with my purchase and so far made about five of ten gallons possible. I had a problem with the grape really bubbling over and terrible fruit fly's towards the end but overall excellent taste. I think I would want the grape a little sweeter. I purchased in November 2015 and just starting to drink now April 2016.
This yeast will work to make a sparkling wine in your home brew kit. It is critical however, to find a recipe and follow it. This is because the sparkle in the wine is predicated on the right amount of sugar by volume. Otherwise you get burst bottles, or a flat wine.

Made the most amazing sparkling raspberry wine! It was crystal clear and so crisp. Loved it!
I was making mead with this and in 2 weeks it was already ready to drink the fermenting wasnt fully done but fantastic work.

Description
Organize your brew space with these carboy stackers / dryers. Midwest recently purchased a sizeable quantity of these and we are passing the savings on to you. Use the stand to dry the carboy after washing it and put some tin foil over the mouth (to prevent anything from entering) and stack them in your storage area. Keep the stacks down to one - three rows on top in order to minimize the potential for them falling and you'll have more space in your brewing area.

We created a yeast starter with some orange juice and the yeast quickly started bubbling. Very active indeed. Maybe this will help our stalled fermentation.
It does what it does. I used it for making sparkling cider, seems to be very bubbly.
