Gerber Lil Crunchies, Mild Cheddar & Veggie Dip, 8 Count

Gerber Lil Crunchies, Mild Cheddar & Veggie Dip, 8 Count

Our 10-month-old loves these! After sampling one myself, I fell in love as well, often time stealing from kiddo's can. It's one of the few savory puffs that I found. The flavor is stronger than other stars or sweet puffs, and our LO seems to like that better.

It melts in LO's mouth nicely. Recently he would shove the whole puff in his mouth, and we would all be scared that he would choke or gag, but after a bit moving around in his mouth, the puff melts to small bit that he could swallow fine.

The can says consume after 5 days of opening for optimal freshness. I would stick to that and avoid giving it to babies or toddlers after a week of opening. It doesn't melt as quickly when it's no longer fresh, which could be choking hazard.

My son loves him. He just turned 13 months old. It's high in carbohydrates and low in salt, so it's a perfect snack for growing toddlers. I am buying though Amazon because it's cheaper than the grocery store and I don't mind buying six at a time because he goes through them so quickly. It comes out to a little less than $2 a can. I would even subscribe if it were an option. It's easy for him to chew and it dissolves in his mouth. He would eat an entire can in one sitting if I let him. I love finding food he loves to eat and I would love it even more if it were organic.

the boy absolutely loves these snacks. we bought them from the big supermarket chain that will remain unnamed, and had to start keeping them on hand for daily snacks. found them here on amazon, and the multi-pack breaks down to a savings of $.25-.40 per over the store prices. add them to subscribe-and-save, and the savings are even better.

of course, i've had to try a few of them to make sure they don't taste like cardboard. they don't. in short, they remind me of a slightly less-seasoned cheetos puffs. they do melt down pretty quickly, which is nice because these are a good early hand-fed food for the kiddo. our bundle of poop was snacking on these, broken in half, starting at about 5-6 months (he has been eating table food since that time) and at 8-9 months, he started eating them unbroken -- picking them up, and taking individual bites off of them without any trouble.

kiddo's first hand-fed snack was the gerber graduates puffs. he "graduated" to these after a month, and now he turns his nose up at the puffs when we also have the lil' crunchies on hand. these are a great snack for him, and have helped him work on his basic motor skills at the same time. give them a try!

My daughter loves these! She's been eating these for several months now and never gets tired of them. They come in a convenient container and a variety of flavors that my daughter enjoys. They tend to get stale quickly, but my daughter usually finishes up the container so fast that it's not really a problem for us. I find that the size of the snacks are easy for her to grasp and feed herself. She's not had any issues eating them, as they seem to dissolve relatively quickly once she gets started chewing them.

My kids are much older than toddlers, and have loved these crunchies since they were toddlers! I get them for the simple ingredients, and the fact that they are gluten free, which we need. The container makes it so easy to pour some out and close up, no chip clip needed! They are just the correct crunchiness, just the right size to pop into your mouth without have to bite in half and get cheese crumbs all over! We love them!

I have to be honest I got these for myself haha. Normal snacks are SO unhealthy it's hard to find great flavored stuff especially puffed snacks without terrible chemicals and loads of fat and artificial stuff. These are my favorite flavor (the cheddar ones) and they're so low calorie and low fat... I could eat so much more of it at once too without feeling guilty. They taste like great puffed snacks without the added garbage. Also not bad price!! Pretty good bargain.

These are great snacks for our kids. We like how they are baked instead of fried and the flavors are great. They were fondly named "Cheesy Poofs" in our household. They were always very easy to eat when they were little. You can easily cut them up for young toddlers and they become finger foods as they get older. Our kids' favorite flavors are Mild Cheddar and Veggie Dip. Tomato is good too. The prices on Amazon were always a little better than our local stores so we purchased them through the Subscribe & Save program. The lids are not very air tight once the seal is removed so they get stale pretty quickly if you don't keep them in a gallon zipper bag like we did, but honestly, they rarely last that long. Our family can go through an entire can in one sitting, making them a fairly expensive snack. Overall, these are a much better choice than other junk snacks which justifies the higher price.

I am an adult and I eat these because they are milder on my weak digestive system, and there is less fat and salt and calories and they are natural. They taste very good! Try these as an alternative to regular cheetos if you have a sensitive tummy.

At first I was against buying these...they seemed like the toddler equivalent of Cheetos/junk food and that is not a habit I want to start him on, especially at so young. However, after seeing how much he loved them when he received some on a playdate and reading up on the ingredients, we decided to give them to him in moderation. My little one LOVES them - he likes all of the flavors but this is his favorite. It is a great way for him to master his motor skills and learn how to feed himself. It's been a wonderful segue into foods with textures as he loves anything crunchy right now. I have yet to see a kid who doesn't enjoy these.

My son loves these! I love that they are healthier (they have vitamins/minerals) than other snacks and low calorie/low sodium/fat free! (I even snack on them as they taste great and have a fraction of the calories of potato chips!) my son has eaten these since he was starting to eat solid foods and now he's 15 months. He gets so excited when we break out the 'crunchies' for a snack! He went through a phase where he didn't like just about every food we tried, but he still ate these and pediasure's juice boxes and I wasn't overly concerned as these are still pretty healthy (way better than eating sugary snacks). I can't say enough positive things about these snacks, especially the cheddar and the veggie dip flavors.
