First of all Amazon Delivered on time and actually earlier than estimated. I bought this because we bought a new house and are in the process of moving. I already own the AX88U router but wasn’t ready to move it to the new home. Since the new home is a lot bigger than my current home and we have a lot of wireless devices the AirMesh service that ASUS provides allows me expand the coverage of my network. So I spent the extra money and bought the AX92U 2 router setup with intentions to add the AX88U to the mesh once our move is complete. Since all routers have the latest AX protocol I’m hopeful that I can achieve maximum backplane performance even though all my devices are not AX capable. I bypassed the quick setup instructions and completed the set up of the AX92U entirely from the Asus app from my phone including adding the second AX92U router to the mesh.
