I can verify that this works for full gigabit LAN on a MacBook pro. It's well built and easy to use.
I bought this USB C to Ethernet adapter for a laptop I was trying to image which did not have a built in ethernet port on the motherboard. We use Dell products and the WD15 Dell Dock Station did not let me laptop pickup any PXE servers on our network. I was concerned I would need to purchase the $35 Dell USB C to Ethernet adapter, but the UNI adapter worked perfectly. I was able to see IPv4 and IPv4 NIC choices during pre-boot and was able to see my images on the PXE server on my laptop to image the laptop.
Got this adaptor for my MacBook Pro 2018 as it only has Thunderbolt 3 ports so that I could maintain wire connection rather than having to rely solely on wireless. It’s solid, the braiding cable is well made, and I got a constant 890ish Mbits/sec for my mac. It comes with a little bag so pretty easy to put in my laptop case after use. A perfect product for me overall.
I have used the adapter for a week only. The adapter appears to be made of high quality materials and to be very durable. It works without issues on my MacBook Pro with Touch Bar Late 2016.
The box includes the adapter and a small fabric bag for carrying and storing it. The Ethernet end of the adapter has two led indicators that light up when the cable is connected and data is being transferred, respectively.
I love this USB-C to Ethernet adapter. It arrived tastefully packaged and included a soft little carry pouch with the UNI logo. The build quality is great and it feels very sturdy. This is the second UNI product I have purchased in the last month and have been equally impressed with both products. I actually purchased this one to use with my iPad pro 11”. As a network engineer, I have to test all the network ports for connectivity after installation. This makes it super easy and quicker than using my laptop. This will only work with the new iPad pros that now come with a USB-C charging port. There is nothing to install, I simply put my iPad into airplane mode, connect the adapter to my iPad, connect an Ethernet cable to the adapter, and I am immediately connected to the internet. It has two small LED’s on the adapter. There is a green LED on the right, which lets you know that you are connected, and a yellow one on the left, which blinks rapidly to indicate activity. This product also works equally well with my Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop. If you are looking for a USB-C to Ethernet adapter, look no further, I highly recommend it.

This works great on my MacBook Pro 2018 for whenever I want more speed than what wireless is able to offer. It also works great when using parallels where I am able to use the adapter for my Windows 10 VM while the MacBook uses the wireless connection. As always with Uni products, I love the build quality and color.

I love the look and aesthetics of this adapter. Its a darker aluminum gray that I wish Apple would use instead of their Space Gray. Its solid, the braiding is well made, and I got a constant 940ish Mbits/sec on a short and long test using iperf3 on my LAN.
Not much more to say about this other than its perfect for my use case and a perfect product overall.
I like the quality and feel of this product. The finish matches my laptop's aluminium chassis. It is also easy to use (once you plug it into a working port). Just plug it in and connect an Ethernet cable to it and your Ethernet router. Initially, my device did not power up. I contacted support and went through a few troubleshooting steps. I had to fiddle with settings, download a driver, and turn off my WiFi. Finally, I tried another port on the router and bingo - it lit up and started working. So if you run into this - just try a known working port before going through the steps I did.
This adapter is an excellent product with fantastic customer support. Especially given the price point for this product. The first one was defective. I contacted uniAccessories, and they responded quickly with a list of possible corrections or fixes. I say fast, given that you have to take into consideration the humongous difference in time zones. I followed their suggestions and the dongle still would not work. They instructed me to order a replacement and use the fastest shipping method. I provided the order number to them, and they refunded my purchase and shipping costs immediately. The replacement dongle has worked flawlessly, and I will be ordering several.
