SPARIN Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Screen Protector, SM-T580 Model, 0.3mm Tempered Glass, Bubble-Free, Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, Clear

SPARIN Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Screen Protector, SM-T580 Model, 0.3mm Tempered Glass, Bubble-Free, Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, Clear

The product is excellent!

Ignore the installation instructions that come with it. Use the YouTube video instead. Cleaning the screen, using the drying cloth, using the dust collector are all obvious things to do. The hinges, though, are total crap. Don't bother with them. Put the protector on the way the video shows.

I absolutely love this protector. It fits perfectly on my Samsung tablet and was surprisingly easy to put on. It has a thick, protective feeling to it but it doesn't limit or decrease the sensitivity of touch screen. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

I never use screen protectors. Never believed in them. I've used mobile devices clear back to 2002 without them. When I've seen them on my friends devices I thought they were ugly (except those using glass). When I got a Samsung tablet sporting a 10.1" screen, I figured there is too much vulnerable glass that must be protected.

My search on Amazon found Sparin. The reviews seemed to be good, so I went for it.

The protector arrived in quality protective packaging. I checked the included printed instructions, but hey, a video is worth a million words. The printed instructions had me search for the Sparin YouTube channel. There were a dozen videos. Hint to Sparin: please lead us directly to ONE (not a bunch) complete video relevant to the product we have purchased from you. The video I found did not have instructions for removing bubbles (that was in another video. Helpful hint #2 to Sparin: include such info with the relevant installation video). Hint #3 to Sparin: the video instructions did not match the printed ones.

It took about 20 minutes of fiddling to remove the air bubbles (yes, this product DOES get some air bubbles, but they can be removed). Despite myour diligent efforts to thoroughly clean the tablets screen, there were some small particles on the backside of the screen protector that would create a bubble. The best ways I found to get rid of the bubbles:

1. Gently lift the screen protector near the bubble
2. Carefully use the included Dust Absorber on the back of the screen protector where the bubble formed. I found that effectively removed the tiny particle that created a bubble
3. This is very important: like instructions say, set the protector right on the screen and use your finger to LIGHTLY draw a line of pressure down the middle of the screen, top to bottom. Do not press hard.

I am VERY pleased with this screen protector because it doesn't even seem like it's there. The touch responsiveness is the same as without it.

I hope it's strength is never tested, but it's good to know it's there if it is.

I definitely recommend Sparin!

I have been a firm believer in covers for my smartphones. In the past I have used Zagg InvisibleShield plastic covers. The rub was the degree of difficulty to align and get a bubble free instalation. It was not easy. For my 10.1 inch Tab A I went with this tempered glass product. The ease of installation was excellent compared to the polymer covers. What is great is that the pre-cleaning of the tablet surfaces occurs while the attaching surface of the glass is covered. The included instructions are both simple and complete. I used the recommended "hinge" approach with the provided sticky tabs. One caution is to be sure to press on the sticky tab that attaches to the glass. They can pull away if not secured tightly so the hinge effect is compromised. This is not a big deal just an FYI type of comment. I removed the backing (carefully not to dislodge the hinge tape) and lowered the glass to the tablet surface. Then, just like the instructions said, ran my finger down the center of the long axis and watched the glass flow to the seal. There were a couple of bubbles that had to be herded to the edge but with a little encouragement they were easily removed. I have paired this screen protector with a Poetic case and there were no issues with fit. While I can't comment on durability, I can say that I am now going to use tempered glass covers rather than polymer types because this is the easiest bubble free install I have ever done with a screen protector.

I don't write many reviews unless a product stands out to me as really bad or really good. I have to say I was very impressed with this screen protector. Seems like a silly thing to be super impressed with, but this particular product solved a problem I've been having with screen protectors since my first device, the installation. I've always been awful at putting these things on. I have little patience and I rush through such things, leaving bubbles all the time, which infuriates me. They have an installation method that eliminates bubbles as well as ensuring the protector is perfectly aligned and not at all crooked. They include everything needed, three different cleaning cloths and several stickers which you use to create a hinge. You line up the protector, attach the stickers to the device and the protector, which still has the peel off part attached. Then you go about cleaning the device, peeling the sticky part off the protector itself, then you swing the protector over and it lays right in place. My first go and it went in place perfectly. There were a couple small bubbles around the edges which quickly scraped off with the included piece. They even include a youtube video link to watch the install, which all in all is very easy. The glass is very clear and seems solid. I did not run it through any kind of hammer test or any such nonsense. All I know is I have a perfectly aligned and bubble free screen protector and for that, I am thankful to the company. Well done!

Very fast shipping! Product well packaged. Just installed on Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Tablet. Watched several You Tube installs before starting. Tried using tab guides. My experience? Useless! I cleaned tablets and pressed on as firmly as I dared, got it all lined up and Presto! did not hold worth a *Darn. Tossed em! Installed with out guides much easier. Give em to your kids for stickers, they hurt em! Now.. Installed fine. Saw a spec of dust that snuck in at corner after all the care I gave. Raised corner slightly, used sticky pad, removed dust and let back down, did not seal completely flat as before, very slight non adhesion in rim maybe quarter inch of edge. Not that much of a deal, just did not expect it show at all. When I get protective case, probably wont see it all? NOW! It did not cover surface from edge to edge...Left about an 1/8th uncovered all around. Will this matter? Do not think so. Again, protective Moto cover coming tomorrow will probably make it a non issue for me. Over all. Very Pleased! Buy it! 5 stars if it would have laid back down without ANY issue. (MUCH EASIER to install than the old type spray wet, slide around and squeegy for ever, hoping for no bubbles, HA!)

I got this for a new tablet I ordered, and a slight disclosure, I am terrible at applying stickers, or anything like a sticker.

But even though I got this on crooked the first time, and had to pull it off and try again about eight times, it has not moved an iota since then. Since my old tablet broke, and I used this same brand of screen protector, I decided to have some fun with it.

Since the device center I dropped my old tablet off to does not accept screen protectors, I peeled it off (which was quite a feat, since the adhesive seemed to have either gotten stronger with time, or was stronger to begin with) and attempted to destroy it. While some of the more extreme cases worked (taking a hacksaw to it, mainly) regular keys, pens, and a pocket knife wouldn't do much to it. Even though both of these are tablet screens and not phones, it does withstand regular wear and tear.

Then I ran my car over it.

It cracked in a spider-web pattern, but held together, even though it was pretty much dust at that point. Which basically means that if it DOES break, it's not going to create shards of glass.

Instructions on how to put the screen protector on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is very easy/simple. The directions are very clear on how to properly put the screen protector on your tablet. I'd love the thickness of tempered glass screen protectors. I'll rather buy a tempered glass protector over a thin screen protector (also if you don't put the thin screen protector on right you'll be left with air bubbles which is a pain to get out!), it's not thick enough to protect any screen like the tempered glass. This fitted very well on the Galaxy Tab A and with the Heavy Duty Case that I had purchased fits over the tempered glass which is prefect!!! If you have problems with the very small spaces that this tempered leaves on your Samsung tablet.. I'd recommend that you purchase a heavy duty case and what I mean by that is to get a case that will cover that part of your screen. Usually, the cases that has the protector plastic snap on case are the ones that will pretty much cover that small space part of your tablet screen. Those type of cases comes with the protector plastic snap on case and then you'll either get a rubber cover to go over that, or a hard shell cover to go over it. Those are the best cases and if you don't have a problem with the thickness of the cases 'cause those can be bulky but will protect your tablet. My case did cover the small spaces between the tempered and my tablet screen. I don't have any problems with this tempered and I'll be purchasing this item again!!

I took the time to read the instruction in its entirety before trying to install. Cleaning process using the cleaning materials (included) did a great job of cleaning and preparing the screen. The screen installed cleanly and aligned great with my Tab A 10.1 (especially with camera and buttons). However, much like other posts, I ended up with a bubble in the top right corner. When I would press down on it to remove the bubble, it would disappear just to return once I lifted my finger and pressure off the bubble. Must be some defect. Lucky for me, the bubble did not come close to the actual visible screen of the tablet. It was only in the edge on the corner, and my Moko case covered the bubble completely. The rest of the screen looks great and is holding up nicely the first week of use. It should have been a perfect install, but the defect was only cosmetic. Wasn't sure to give it 3 or 4 stars, because my galaxy still looks great in its case and the protector should be able to do its job nicely, and the bubble is an imperfection, but can't be seen using my Moko case.

I just installed the Sparing Screen Pro Screen Protector on my new Tab A. The installation sounded daunting from some reviews and I was tempted to do it without the Guide Stickers until I saw the packaging and apparent overall quality of the installation kit. The Guide Stickers work very and I can't imagine doing the job without them. Here are my suggestions that I took away from following the tiny included instruction sheet, to the letter. Cleanliness is a must for a perfect result. Pick the cleanest, well lit area you have available. I found that using good nitrile disposable gloves is good practice in that they provide a better handling and prevent smudges, skin flakes, hairs, etc from adding to the dust issues. Wearing lint free clothing and turning off anything that causes air movement is also beneficial. I positioned the screen very carefully, pressing down firmly to hold it in place, and was able to attach the guide sticker first to the screen with about a 1-inch overlap. I think the 1 inch overlap is important to keep the sticker from moving on the screen. Then carefully roll the sticker down the side of the tablet and around to the backside. (One thing I would have done differently would be to have the tablet overhang the work surface a little to make rolling the sticker around the back a little easier) I used 2 of the 3 stickers positioned as shown in the included instructions.

I found that my method caused the protector to shift to the left very slightly so that the to left corner had a quarter size bubble because the glass couldn't make full contact. Fortunately, thanks to the no-slip glove, I found it was fairly easy to push the glass far enough to the right that the bubble disappeared without any other manipulation. My only imperfection is one tiny white speck of dust under the screen that is invisible when screen is on. I would never try to lift the screen once its in place.
